This girl that was guarding the fitting rooms was really rude and sassy with her attitude. She honestly pissed me off and that's something I usually never say. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but her service was genuinely just terrible and horrible. The business is good and everything but that's my only complaint, other wise the whole business is really good and I love the selection that they offer . read more

I spoke to the manager her name is Norma, very polite and really cool chick. The cashier that helpede today is Damian I believe, this dude was super polite as well a dude that knows what's up with the gear I bought. Thanks for everything guys see ya soon. read more

Visited this location after work, looking for a photo album and some grad decor, I walked in and was IMMEDIATELY greeted by loss prevention he was friendly. I looked through the purse and shoe aisles and then on my way from the art area to the back area where the photo frames and albums were I thought this woman was going to greet me as long as she was staring with a "resting face" as she talked about customers over her headphones to another employee about how they were returning things and making snide remarks. On my way to the cash wrap I heard her with a raised tone asking someone "ARE YOU LOST?" Her customer service skills are in the trash. The cashier I encountered was kind and polite and even talked to me about the grad frame I was purchasing. Overall the store atmosphere is not good although they have a great selection of items. Tons of things for the girlies who love Steve Madden , true religion, Levi and home decor. read more

I went to return a few items and I had my receipts along with the original tags on them. One of the items I was returning was a blouse for $6.99! They went as far as saying they would need to check the cameras to make sure it was the original sale, as the tag was not matching the item. Mind you I did not mess with the tags. If they are mislabeling the merchandise, it's not my fault. It was a $6.99 blouse, not a million dollar blouse! It was not that serious to have to go to the extent to have me wait for almost an hour just to check the cameras over a $6.99 blouse!!! Seriously?? read more

So I was on my way to the Inland Empire to visit friends. I had on a white button down shirt, and I end up accidentally spilling coffee all over it. What's a guy to do being 60 miles from home? Hit up Ross, of course. I found this store nearest to my location along the freeway. I made my way here, and found parking easily. It took me some time to find the right shirt for the occasion, but alas, I found what I was looking for. The line was not too long, despite it being pretty busy here. The short line got going pretty fast, and this efficiency was much appreciated. The selection here is ok, granted, it is the IE, so this store won't get as much foot traffic as the Ross stores in the heart of LA. This store served its purpose well, I would stop by here again if I found myself in the IE. Thanks for saving the day, Ross. read more

I needed to find an outfit for a party. Before I tried on clothes in the fitting room I informed the guy that assisted the fitting room to hold on some of my clothes because I had to many items to take in the fitting room. He allowed some lady to take them while I was in the fitting room. That just set me off because it was perfect outfit for my special occasion & I was willing to buy them :( read more

We needed a pair of shorts... Medium size was on sale for $13.49. Large was on sale for $8.49. Same brand, same color, same clearance rack. We asked if the Medium price was an error and asked for the same price as the large. Clerk said no. I asked to speak to the manager and was told no. We were told they cannot do that once it is priced! So in other words the customer is not always right! I find this tactic ridiculous and the way it was handled even more so. This store needs to improve their customer service! read more

The parking lot is nightmare the racks are a mess. Customers in there are rude. Didn't use to be this bad. Won't be back read more

The manager needs to be FIRED! She is snooty and has the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced, I had a back pack on and I was with a man with muscles, she comes over and says to him do you need help? Did she think we were gonna steal! Really ???? That woman shouldn't be running that store, we work both work in Retail my friend and I , And I know that area is bad I know the theft is bad in Riverside! But I'm NO thief! And I don't appreciate her and how way she came approached us and also how the security guard had to come over by us too before she did and use our basket to pick up things in the store , I don't like how they treated us in that store! So I won't be going back there! Because NOT everyone steals!! Oh I also know that store doesn't allow backpacks but then why do they sell the small ones everywhere! Maybe they shouldn't... this city is awful! With the way that they treat others WHOM have no criminal record!! Please stop it's why you're losing business! read more

I came to Ross the other day for some jeans and witnessed the manager (hispanic, tall, black/brown hair) being RUDE towards one of her workers. She lacks in leadership, communication, and should learn how to respect others. This Ross store really lowered their standards, it seems anyone can be a manager these days with little to no experience. read more

Okay so I come in here pretty regularly sometimes twice a week. I have a class and I go in here to kill time and see what treasures I can find lol. This location is probably the best Ross I have ever been in. And I have been in a lot of locations. This store is always clean. It's always organized. You won't find anything on the floor and no clutter on the shelves. I have never met the Store Manager but my hat goes off to them and they deserve a raise. Staff is friendly and professional. I'm always greeted by the sales associates when I'm shopping and right when I come in the door. I'm also always thanked and told to have a great day when I leave. My hat also goes off to this store's LP team as well. They are on top of everything and always have a strong presence in the store. Which I love. In general Ross stores are shopped very hard and have a lot of foot traffic good and bad. Lines can be long at times but staff always keeps cool and I almost always hear a MOD jump on the PA when the lines get too long calling for more help up front. The SM knows how to hire the right staff and clearly takes pride in their store. read more

Horrible I was attacked by a costumer for no reason as I was walking with my child a lady walked up and struck me in the face and was instructed not to touch her because she wasn't all there in the head from security and employees yet they allow her to continue to shop there..employees are always completely rude just walked in and an older gentleman may be about 60 to 70 years old brought back an item he just bought that seem to have been broken. He let the young lady know and instead of her helping him she told him I put it in two bags so it shouldn't be broken. I'm sorry but what the hell are two bags going to do on top of it? He was an older gentleman. He was being completely polite instead of her, helping them out. She was just rude, every single time I go there these women seem to not like their job, but yet they work there read more

Love me some Ross cant beat the deals and steals they got goning on! Something for everyone in the clothing and shoe dept. Then they also have great deals on household goods like mirrors and art decor. Love coming here finding so many amazing things. Like French toast uniform dresses 4.49 what!!! I paid 20.00 on sale at reg. Retail store @ beginning of the school year. So many great deals! Clean store friendly employees except a few ladies who work the fitting rooms. They are rude AF some act like you are trying on rare diamonds!!! I know people steal but don't act like everyone does #Uncomfortable!!!! Overall a great store!! Love Ross read more

Today was the first day I've been to Ross since the Pandemic. What a pleasant surprise! The store was very clean and ORGANIZED! Plenty of room between the racks. The cashier was very pleasant as was the security guard. I hope the store continues on this path. read more

To call ROSS ghetto is like saying poop stinks, it's a given. But this one takes the cake. G.H.E.T.T.O. You can't even walk through the isles. I ask a cashier what's going on in this store and they just roll their eyes. I guess it's my fault for going into this gROSS store read more

Hands down the worst Ross I've ever seen. Every isle is just trashed. I can't imagine a manager that would allow the store to look that way. Wasn't able to walk down any of the isles and the merchandise was crap. This location used to be nice. I won't return. read more

Ewwww. This place is horrible!!!!! Autum was a bitch. Didn't smile. Didn't greet. The return line was open. But one line for purchases and returns only. Shouldn't u have closed the return line down w a sign? The security guard was following a chick employee around like a lost dog. Hey buddie. Aren't u suppose to be watching the thieves?... They obviously hired the wal-mart rejects. Not the best Ross once again. Only reason for the two stars instead of one was cause I did score some cute pillows:)... I love hate Ross:) read more

I have to agree with the previous reviews. This place is old. Not much for variety compared to other Ross stores. And as said in previous reviews, we waited a long time for a short line of people (15+ minute wait for only 3 people in front of us). Lot less waiting of this nature in other Ross locations. It almost felt like a ghetto Walmart. read more

This place is a disaster. They never schedule more than 2 people to work on the floor on any given day. Clothes are piled instead of hung here. The men's dress shirt area is atrocious. Think of what the ground would look like at Times Square on New Year's Day. Yes, it's that graphic. The fitting rooms are basically storage closets. No need to sit on a bench in there, several piles of clothes do the trick. And if you magically are able to find something to purchase, make sure you bring something to entertain you. You will be online for a minimum of 8 minutes. Never in a million years... read more

I am a frequent visitor to our neighborhood Ross, always headed there to replenish my candle collection. HOWEVER two months ago I noticed a McDonald's coffee cup hanging out on the shelf, went back two weeks later and it was still there, I mentioned it and my concern to the staff. Again a few weeks later the disgusting cup with someone's once enjoyed beverage was still in my beloved candle section untouched. Mind you, the candles have been sorted through and replaced multiple times by this point. Well two months later as in today I go back in and there is it is, stenchy, moldy, old McDonald's coffee, untouched unbothered. Absolutely disgusted. This is a health concern and a major point that the employees really don't care. I had mentioned it multiple times and yet there it sits, stewing and growing some sort of mold. Beware it might get up and walk into your basket. read more

Bought some sheets from Ross washed them, who wouldn't? Put them on the bed and noticed they were snagged and torn took them back, got reprimanded from the Ross employee behind the register telling me "I don't know what your belief system is but you should not have washed these and expect to get your money back"!!! Give me my money back the merchandise is damaged and excuse me RUDE sir wouldn't you have washed these first? Thank God I got my 40 bucks back!! I think he was the store manager Associate 608855 Store 0020!!! If I would've kept the sheets for six months I could see you not wanting to give me my money back but really the sheets were not even used and less than 24 hours I washed them and took them back because they were damaged merchandise!!! read more

Horrible Customer Service It's not news that customer service is a thing of the past however, at this Ross site it is sorely screaming loud and clear "we don't like our customers" anymore! I was enjoying a day of doing some leisurely errands therefore I headed over to the Arlington/Madison Ross. I was in a GREAT mood upon my arrival but my attitude turned UGLY by the time I left. It was about 1pm, and at first glance I was appalled on the store's condition. What a GIANT MESS. Clothing on the floor...EVERYWHERE! The store was very crowded which made it difficult to walk around people and STUFF! I was waiting for a friend to join me so I continued waking around, otherwise I would've left right away. I did find a pair of sports pants and decided to buy them. I headed towards the cashier. I was greeted by a "rack" that its sign asked if I could remove the garments hanger quicker than the 5.2 seconds it takes my cashier. Last time I looked, I had NOT received a paycheck from Ross for doing their employees job. Also, as I waited I glanced at the woman already at the cashier which was being attended to, When "Allison" called me up I stepped forward, and the woman already there was STILL getting items rung up when I arrived! Why would you train your cashier's to call the NEXT GUEST when they're still in the middle of a customer transaction. I was enraged but also embarrassed for the woman who had me breathing down her neck. Allison took the customer's (cash) and while she was waiting for her change, Allison GRABBED my item WITHOUT a "hello" or a "fake smile!" She must've been angry that I didn't remove my hanger! She gave me my total, and I handed her my (cash) and while waiting for my change... WITHOUT A SMILE or THANK YOU, she CALLED the NEXT GUEST..."Uhh whoever was next I'll take you!" Ross Corp: Please retrain your managers and team members! I also plan on sharing my horrible experience outside of Yelp! Hopefully in the future I can come back to a new and improved store. read more

It just didn't look good in here today. It looked like tornado came through this store. I have never seen so many items off of the rack and on the floor. Part of this may be that some people just do not care. However, they should have enough staff to be able to clean this stuff up. I tried to buy some items, but I gave up when I saw that the checkout line was 150 feet long! On the way out I noticed thay they have a security guard at the front of the store. I'll go elsewhere to buy what I need. read more

I actually like this Ross more than a lot of the others. It seems to be cleaner over all and usually less crowded. Obviously, you should never, ever go to ANY Ross on the weekend unless you like to be packed wall to wall with loud families with 9 filthy screaming children apiece. But on weekdays, they aren't bad. Pretty good selection, and I always see nice little old ladies shopping here. read more

I love this Ross always has great stuff and the staff is very helpful. Plus it's like 3 minutes from my house so there's that too!

All I can say is that lines are bad. I was only buying one item and when I got to the front of the line two of the cashiers started to do something else. The line was also getting longer and they did not return to help. read more

Yes this Ross is a crazy sloppy place to shop at but you do get for what you pay for :) I always seem to find nicer items here than other the Ross in town. A lot of times it seems as though they just want to hurry up and get the line moving so they don't seem as friendly, however, today Alison was very kind after she rung me up, knowing there were people behind me, I accidentally ripped my $5 bill from the zipper of my wallet, she asked what was wrong when I gasped. She took some tape to tape my ripped bill. That was very nice of her to do so knowing there was a line. Thank you Alison!! read more

Ok store is old, maybe not as organized as a Nordstrom, but these previous reviews are retarded. You are going to a bargin close out store for name brand stuff? This review is solely based on the professional and performance of one cashier Sabrina. We were at this location on a rainy Sunday day at 2:57pm usually a pretty peak time there was only 1 cashier at this time and when another customer politely asked if there was another cashier she rudely said no you have to Waite there's only one cashier I felt embarrassed for her when it was my turn she didn't even mention sorry for the Waite or thank you for waiting I wasn't in no hurry I've worked in retail but Sabrina made this store look bad with her attitude during the time she was ringing me up the phone rung and she said under her breath why are people calling im sorry if this puts her in a bad spot but this makes all other helpful and hard working employees who don't want to be here look bad but put on that smile anyways I hope she dose get some kind of coaching out of this review and Sean the manager gets to the bottom of this the store was not even busy that's the sad part about it (sorry for the missed punctuation writing this while waiting in the store) read more

Wow I shop at Ross, marshals , TJ-MAX, and this Ross Location is RIDICULOUS!! Looks like a flea market in the ghetto! Everything is on the floor, toys out of the box on the floor in different areas of the store. Shoes are on the floor, employees don't care and looks like they have given up on maintaining the organization of the store (if they even cared from the beginning) manager should be replaced to have someone put this store in place and on check. Also the store needs a major remodel! All of the store fixtures are from the 90's . What a shame, if the owner of this Ross wants to succeed they should put money into it and replace staff or store manager. read more
