Kelsey welcomed me into the store with a smile and asked if I needed help in locating anything, however, she didn't hover over my shoulder like employees at other IE locations. She knew the store's inventory in and out, made me aware of all the loyalty program benefits, made relevant and helpful suggestions in product selection. Kelsey understands this business; she is able to read her customers and gauge what level of interaction they need from her in a sensitive retail atmosphere where this skill is paramount! She was overall the embodiment of customer service excellence in a retailer/patron climate where anything less could easily turn a customer away if they even for a moment felt somewhat uncomfortable or potentially embarrassed (this is especially true for the first time shoppers). If anyone is looking at reviews of different locations, I urge you to make the trip over to Intimate Essentials in West Roxbury. However, before you take the drive over, give them a call and verify Kelsey is working that day because with this sort of shopping experience, customer service can make or break your time at the store! Poor selection and never open!…read more I live a block away and was excited to see a new head shop open on Washington St hoping they'd have a good selection of glass and other accessories. I've only seen them be open once in the past month (I walk by several times a day with the dog). The one time I went by and saw they were open, I went in. They had a very small selection of vape pens, no glass, and a few rolling items behind the counter for slightly above average.
