RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4.5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 5 | Price: 4 PARKING There is abundant free parking in a private lot or some street parking within a short walking distance. LOCATION/AMBIANCE Right away I noticed a simple, but large metal building adorned with desert landscaping and some "pizza wing" art towards the back. Inside, a large bar area is met with high ceilings and several other seating options including tables inside the nicely air-conditioned dining room or a few outdoor tables. THE GRUB My significant other cowboy ordered the "Urlager" because it was the closest thing to his Keystone. He wasn't a fan. At first sip, it was okay to me but definitely ended with a nutty sort of IPA aftertaste. I opted for the blueberry lavender vodka concoction... it was good! We shared the pizza of the week: jalapeño popper with bacon. It was so good! Altogether, our meal costed less than $28. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUBI don't recall a kid's menu. SERVICE Our waitress was great! So sweet, funny & attentive. The two bartenders were hustlers as well. MY FAVORITE PART... The pizza! NOT SO FAVORITE PART... How flippin' hot it was after refueling on 8/10/2023. Over 100 degrees F!

The only reason for not five stars is there was no list of beers anywhere other than behind the bar that I saw. I ordered some kind of wheat beer side scene. It was on the sweet side for sure.

OVERALL I went to Rock N' Taco hoping for some shrimp tacos,…read morebut was told they didn't have any shrimp (2/21/2023). After settling on fish tacos, I should have taken my brother's previous advice about their "barbakoa" tacos. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 3 | Service: 4 | Ambiance: 3 | Price: 3 PARKING There is usually ample parking in the lot. Street parking is also within walking distance for trucks/trailers. LOCATION/AMBIANCE I didn't even bother with changing the location from Bender Blvd to Joe Harvey Blvd, but they are and have had their trailer parked next to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Enchanged Lands, REALTORS. Their menu needs a complete overhaul. It's difficult to read with all of the price changes and markouts. Too busy. THE GRUB The fish taco plate ($14.55 including tax & card payment fee) was okay. I was asked if I wanted onion and cilantro along with red or green salsa. Without the onion and cilantro, these four small street-style tacos would have been pathetic. The fish was not battered or left whole. Instead it was cooked much in the same way you would ground beef. The red salsa was very flavorful with a kick. The rice was plain - no veggies infused - and a very small amount was dished into my takeout box styrofoam. The pinto beans were okay. This plate also came with a canned soda of my choosing... Fanta Orange. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB No kid's meals were available. SERVICE Friendly. Helps if you speak Spanish otherwise there may be a slight language barrier when asking for recommendations. I was given a buzzer in case I wanted to sit in my vehicle, I assume, as it was a bit breezy and chilly. The food came out fast and hot. MY FAVORITE PART... Supporting my locals. I just wasn't crazy about these street tacos. Living in Los Angeles, CA, for the past 10 years spoiled me. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... I did not like the fish chopped up. Aside from that, it had that "fishy" taste. Also, there is a 3.75% fee to use a debit/credit card that I was not made aware of. I didn't see a sign for this either. TIP I'll be trying their barbacoa whether it's beef or pork next time.

If you're looking for authentic tacos, taco di vino has a little different spin on their cuisine…read more The tacos are really pricey for what you get as the finished product in opinion meat portions are good but, the tacos are excessively packed with toppings that are either too bland or too sweet. I ordered 3 different types of tacos and a side which I did not believe were worth the price of the food. 1).The flank taco was salty and not a flavor packed salty. 2). The coconut shrimp taco was good as is with just shrimp and a little bit of cabbage pineapple on the taco bad it excessively sweet and cabbage filled the taco more than shrimp. 3).The pastor taco was also really sweet but I would say has to be one of there best in my opinion. And finally the side 1). The corn was loaded with cheese and mayonnaise and butter but corn was not sweet at all. All dining aside the service was excellent, server was polite and informative. The dining experience was not bad I just felt like the inside of the restaurant smelled a little rancid but the dining experience outside was nice and gave off a really fresh and cozy aesthetic. Overall I believe there could be better improvements on pricing, flavor, meat to toppings ratio, smell, and inside compact dining.

I'll get to my CONS out of the way: - limited hours on Saturdays & Sundays (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) - credit card fee of 3.5% and I did NOT see this posted at the register - No buffet on Saturdays - chips and salsa are NOT complimentary ($6.99) My daughters and I came here for lunch for a girls day out before Mother's Day 2026 since we were spending time with family on Sunday. My dish: Tacos a la Parilla ($14.99 for 3 soft tacos with grilled brisket, guacamole, jalapenos, onions, tomatoes) served with rice and beans. Absolutely delicious. I would get this again. My oldest daughter also had a brisket taco plate ($14.99) but the crispy variety without jalapeno or pico de gallo. My youngest daughter opted for a cheeseburger ($13.89) with fries ($2.00). If those weren't fresh hand-cut fries I would be surprised. They were yummy. Slightly crisp. Not too oily. The burger I would have eaten all by myself with its buttery fluffy buns. This is a close first place for burgers in Lovington with Lazy 6 being its competition. Their horchata was divine ($4.25 × 2). My youngest was happy with her sweet tea ($3.75). Loved the vibes inside. The ceilings and lighting fixtures were very interesting. Not overly decorated. Good Mexican music playing at a good decibel. All of the staff members we interacted with were friendly. Restrooms and parking were good. I'll be a repeat offender.
