Very weird experience.
My friends, a family of four, and I were visiting GB for the weekend. Everywhere we went was inviting and happy for the business, with the exception of Rosie's. An employee, an older woman with short hair, followed my (in an attempt to be stealthy I suppose) male friend to the back of the business as he attempted to find a restroom. She didn't ask if he needed help or what he was looking for (a common tactic in loss prevention measures if she, for some reason, thought a well off man with money to spend was going to steal a dress). No, instead she just followed him.
While he was in the bathroom the same woman returned to scold his wife for smelling one of the lotion bottles they had on their shelves. Considering the number of bottles they had that were all CLEARLY opened (due to the amount of lotion on the shelf and bottles present) she was informed to "smell through the bottle." And that they could not be opened/there were no samples to in fact smell. Unless you are a bloodhound, you won't be able to pick up on the "Fruit Loops" scent THROUGH a plastic bottle.
Is it that strange, wanting to know what you are purchasing before paying?
