a variety of food items on a wooden table

We stopped here after getting to assembly park for our family vacation. We needed a quick bite a little later at night. We were there for "Sunset on the Patio". We missed the opening act but saw next person. Great music and the sound was awesome. For dinner my wife and I had the "Brazilian kabob with Mexican street corn". My wife had a reisling and I had a knob creek whiskey and coke. The meat on the kabob was tender and perfectly cooked. Veggies were perfectly al dente. The treat was the street corn. Roasted corn and seasoning was delicious. We hadn't planned on staying for the show but it was great. Later the owner gave us a tour of the future restaurant. This used to be "Millies pancake house" and my wife and I remember eating here in its heyday. After remodeling it's going to be a unique restaurant where you can see right into the kitchen and see the chef working. All in all a great night, food, music and venue for meals and wedding receptions or events.

We seriously just had the best wine and food pairing ever at Rosewood, in Delavan.

Beautiful venue for a wedding and great food. But it doesn't make up for the rude employees.

We're not familiar with this area so we'd never hear of it before tonight. You walk in to a bar/restaurant seating area, then the bowling is farther back into the building. The first thing we noticed was how clean everything was. Probably cleanest bowling alley we've ever been to. We talked with the employee (maybe owner?) and he said they have someone cleaning the entire building every day. It shows! They have tons of balls and shoes ready to use if you don't have your own. There are 8 total bowling alleys, so it's big enough for groups but still intimate and cozy. They have TVs/projectors around to watch sports and music videos while you're waiting your turn. They have a full bar, and offer some food options. Evidently they import their pizza crust directly from Italy--totally non-gmo and way higher quality than you'd expect from a bowling alley! A nice touch. They have live music here a couple times a month, and run specials (like cosmic bowling) at different times throughout the week. The employees were exceptionally friendly and made us instantly feel at home. We highly recommend this place and hope to be back super soon!

The bowling area is not huge with only 8 lanes. The tables are a bit cramped. Lanes are well maintained. Their hours are not consistent so best to call or checkout the website. On weekends they have a $10 special for 3 games of bowling and shoe rental. The folks that work there are nice.

We found out way to the ticketing office, which also doubles as a snack shop and gift shop. In my opinion, the ticket prices are much too high. Min $20/person, which damn-near double the price to go to our huge local zoo. This place, though cute, is quite small and many of the caged areas were empty during our visit. It also felt a bit run down. The ticket price includes a pony ride but we were told they weren't going to open that portion for 2.5+ hours. Huge bummer. If that's the case, I think tickets should be discounted. We did end up on the train ride an hour into our visit with a handful of other families. The driver was very sweet and knowledgeable. We saw fox, wolves, bobcats, and a few other furry friends. It was a fun experience to be inside the petting/feeding area where animals come right up to you - that was a first for us! Though I don't think it's really worth the price, we are all about supporting small, family businesses, so still happy we came by!

From live music and wagons to pull/ride to fresh samples and pumpkins (fall), every visit is packed with wholesome fun and unforgettable memories. The farm stand is incredibly kid-friendly, with a large play space featuring real (retired) farm equipment to climb on and hay castles to explore. Our kids could spend hours there! They especially love riding in the wagons, sampling treats like juicy watermelon and soft peanut butter cookies, and dancing to the live music. And we have to mention the sweet corn--it is hands-down the BEST we've ever had. Perfectly crisp, fresh, and flavorful, it's a summer must-have and reason enough to stop by all on its own. In the fall, Pearce's turns into a magical wonderland. Last year, our daughter (who had just turned two) remembered every single detail from our visits--so much so that returning in 2025 was a top priority as soon as they opened for the season! We also really appreciate the farm's $3 "ugly" or overstock veggie bags--a great way to get fresh produce at an amazing value while cutting down on food waste. It's thoughtful touches like this that make Pearce's a favorite not just for the fun, but for the values behind it. If you're looking for a place to make lasting family memories, enjoy local food, and support a fantastic small business, Pearce's Farm Stand is a must-visit. We're already counting down to our next trip!
