I cannot even BEGIN to sing the praises for Rosewood Events and Ann and Dan! Everything about our experience was seamless from start to finish. I work for a nonprofit and approached Ann about hosting an event for a group of top fundraisers. She was such a delight to work with, we toured the venue in the winter, and Ann met us with a book of pictures to show us exactly what the layout would look like when the tent was in place and everything was in bloom! Ann also helped send over all kinds of information needed for booking vendors and coordinating with the venue. She outlined everything we would need to know leading up to the event, and made sure to check in that we had everything we needed. Since we were traveling in from Texas, she even offered local recommendations for us to use throughout our entire weekend. And that's all before the event.. Day of was nothing less than PERFECTION. Ann took care of every detail, down to including flowers coordinated to our color scheme in the rest rooms! We had several attendees that need additional help with mobility challenges, and Ann's team was always ready to help transport them to and from the parking lot or anywhere needed! Dan helped coordinate our shuttles and made sure our arrival and departure we as easy as possible. Their entire staff was professional, kind and exceedingly helpful. Anytime I could even think to need help, they were ready and available to assist! I was running late to the venue with decorations and as soon as I arrived Ann gave me a big hug and told me she was so glad to see me and that she was starting to get nervous on my behalf! I felt like I was being welcomed by a friend and not just a vendor. All this to say, Rosewood Events is beautiful, so easy to work with, and provides the most incredible background for an event. Ann is truly such a gem! From the moment we met her, we were sold by her warm, welcoming spirit, as well as of course the stunning venue. She really goes out of her way to make you feel special, compared to other venues we toured which felt like wedding factories. After we booked, she always reached out to ask if we needed help or to just to check-in to see if things were moving along. Felt like we had an extra coordinator, which was a huge help. She was always super responsive to my emails and helped coordinate with our vendors and month-of planner. Our guests loved the venue and said that it was beautiful. The views at sunset were stunning and the tent that comes included with the venue was perfect. Ann includes so much with the venue, like the pergola, many photo locations, tables/chairs. Also the on-site bridal suite and grooms cottage were perfect for getting ready; saved us so much trouble, not having to find a separate getting ready location. Our guests even gave us compliments on the bathrooms! At the end of the night as we were about to drive away, Ann came running towards us because she found one of the bridesman's wallets when digging in the couch cushions of the bridal suite! I truly can not praise the Rosewood property enough... even more so the woman behind this spectacular space, Ann, who could not have made our wedding any more lovely or filled with better memories. My husband and I were married at this truly magical property on July 3rd 2021, a holiday weekend and a date that was very special to us. After carefully picking our date and fully planning our wedding at another venue we learned 2 months out, that the original venue had double booked our wedding with an art exhibit without informing us, which was the tip of the iceberg..... unfortunately the art that was to be placed in the gardens of the original venue were not the vibe we we're going for and we had to look elsewhere. I frantically called venues to see if a Hail Mary would land and a property had openings for us, on our desired date, with such short notice.... Not likely.... But it turns out that was the best news we could have received because it lead us to Ann and Rosewood events. Ann responded to my inquiry immediately, I'm sure she could hear the panic in my initial message. She said that since it was a holiday, the 4th of July weekend was the only weekend of the entire summer she had blocked off, (which felt very serendipitous to us all) Ann said she would be happy to have us view the property and meet with her to ensure we were all a god fit. My husband and I truly felt at peace once we stepped onto the property, from the wisteria encased pergola, the rose gardens, the gorgeous willow tree that would eventually act as our ceremony space...... we just fell in love with the possibilities of creating beautiful memories here. But beyond that we could sense Ann's genuine nature in wanting to help make our wedding special as well as wanting to help alleviate the stress we were feeling from our previous venues shortcomings. We essentially had to re-plan our entire wedding.... The only vendor we kept was the photographer. So Ann helped with suggestions for caterers, florists and rentals.... And thanks to all that support our wedding was absolutely incredible, Ann even hand made a welcome sign which she surprised us with the day of. This review is long overdue but I hope it will resonate with you.... I could literally talk about Rosewood and our experience here forever. But in short, if you have come across this property please do yourself a favor and meet with Ann and view the Rosewood estate. I don't think people realize all the moving parts to coordinating a wedding, and things can and will go wrong even with the best laid plans. I have to give the owner, Ann, and her husband a round of applause. Without their knowledge and dedication, my daughter's wedding day would have not been as flawless as it was. Our bridal party was extremally disappointed that upon arrival to Rosewood's bridal suite we noticed that the welcome note written in chalk from Ann (the owner) had our brides name spelled incorrectly. Not only had Ann met with our bride multiple times and been in contact for over 10 months but once it was brought to Ann's attention she responded with "oh I knew that". Not only did her lack of attention to detail not impress me but her response didn't sound like she was terribly apologetic. It's the brides big day and you can't even make an effort to double check spelling? Very disappointing to say the least. read more

I cannot put into words how amazing our wedding day was, and much of that had to do with our absolutely perfect venue. We got married on September 14, 2019. Rosewood was the first and only venue we visited...in January... it was pouring rain...and we fell absolutely in love. Ann and Dan, the owners, are wonderful people and made us feel like family since day one. We love them. They only have one wedding a weekend, so you can start bringing things over Friday and pick them up Sunday. Which is huge! (many venues don't let you do that). We also had our rehearsal dinner at the venue in the gazeebo area - it was also gorgeous and wonderful. Everything about our wedding was so perfect - there isn't one thing we would have changed. We got ready at the venue - there's a bridal suite + groom's quarters. We had our first look on a beautiful deck in the gardens. Our ceremony was outdoors with a beautiful backdrop. Cocktail hour was in the gazebo area with lots of shade and beautiful gardens surrounding it. And our reception was in the huge white tent (with clear walls so you can look outside) - with lots of room on the patio outside for the bar and fire pit we set up. One of my favorite moments was right before sunset when Ann, Dan and our photographer took us up to the ridge in an ATV to take photos overlooking the beautiful Petaluma landscape of rolling hills. We had so much fun at our wedding. We absolutely love Ann and Dan, and Jen with Bloomfield as well (their exclusive planner). I fell in love with the venue right when I saw the pictures! I live in Orange County so I had to coordinate from afar and there was approximately a month before I was able to visit the venue. I already had a site for my reception but not for my ceremony. Ann, the coordinator/owner was very gracious and accommodating and helped explore possibilities that fit my budget. I had two potential dates I was looking at but once I decided on a date, it was unfortunately booked due to not putting down a deposit immediately (a week and a half had passed before I could make a decision). I wish I would have communicated my strong interest in this site and made a quick decision. The policy was explained to me beforehand that I need to place a deposit to confirm the date. I understood the policy and business contract. However, I was sad and I wish I would have booked this venue quicker in order to confirm my date. Ann, was very caring and considerate and called her personal contacts within the community to find an alternate wedding ceremony site for me that fit. Ann did not have to but she went above and beyond in helping me. She is an amazing person to work with and I recommend working with her. This demonstrates her great customer service and commitment to helping any and every bride! Although I was unable to book at Rosewood I am confident that Ann will do whatever is in her power to do to help you as a bride. Thank you Ann! read more

I just got back from my daughter's wedding at Rosewood Events and I do not have words to sufficiently express what a wonderful experience it was. Ann and Dan are fantastic. From our initial conversations through the planning process and the actual event, they, and especially Ann, made sure that everything went without a hitch. Ann was thoughtful and proactive in addressing any potential issues that might have arisen (none did, thanks to her foresight). She was always readily available to answer my questions and to communicate directly with our wedding planner and other vendors to insure that everything went smoothly. Ann is so warm and caring and genuine, and I always felt she had our best interests at heart; she even checked in with me and my daughter periodically to make sure everything was going well. I really feel she went above and beyond what I would have expected from a venue owner. Her policy of having only one wedding per weekend reflects this. It was wonderful to be able to drop things off on Friday and pick things up on Sunday so that the wedding day itself was more relaxed and we didn't feel rushed in or out! The venue itself is gorgeous with fabulous views of rolling hills. My daughter knew as soon as she saw it that Rosewood was where she wanted to get married (and we had looked at MANY venues previously). Our guests also kept exclaiming how wonderful it was. It was great to have several different locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They are all close to one another but it was nice that people were able to move around from one to the other. That made it easy to mingle and contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. Ann also made sure that one guest who needed help was taken from one area to the next by golf cart, yet another indication of how thoughtful and considerate she is. The tent itself (included! -- as were all the chairs, tables, bar, some signage and some bathroom items) was beautiful with a chandelier and string lights which helped create a lovely atmosphere. It was also great to have separate areas for the bride and groom and their attendants to get ready. One glam highlight for the bride and groom was the trip to the ridge for sunset pictures! I really cannot recommend Rosewood and Ann more highly. My daughter and son-in-law were absolutely thrilled with the wedding, as were my husband and I. The property is breathtakingly gorgeous, beautifully manicured, and enormous - there was so much to love. To start, the grounds at Rosewood will literally take your breath away. From the beautiful gardens, to the ceremony views, and the amazing included reception tent - Rosewood has it all. Not only was Rosewood the most beautiful venue we toured, but it had the most to offer. The gardens are so expansive, gorgeous, and well-manicured and there are so many different areas for our guests to enjoy. Other venues had more strict guidelines on what vendors would be allowed, which Rosewood assured us would not be the case. Additionally, the number of rentals needed at other venues far exceeded what we will require at Rosewood. Aside from the venue, Ann and Dan, the owners of the venue, could not be more helpful, knowledgeable, or dedicated. Ann took us on our tour, and I was almost brought to tears with the detailed descriptions given of throughout each segment of the tour. Ann gave us so many touching options that we would have for our day and added professional insight to assist with our planning. Ann has a way of giving you facts and advice without being pushy. As a couple who has no experience with planning a wedding, Ann's advice was so appreciated. In addition to tips about planning, Ann was able to put both of our minds at ease with how seamlessly our day will run and the promise to be there for us on the big day. Ann and Dan are so dedicated to ensuring your day is perfect and it is very evident with the attention to detail seen around the venue. The venue consists of over 200 acres of rolling hillside with spectacular panoramic views. Nestled throughout are niches that create their own special settings. My favorite is an amazing garden that is cultivated so that it is colorful and fragrant all year. In it's midst is a large deck covered with a trellis of wisteria. Another is an area is in a small grove of trees where cocktail hour is often held. Plenty of seating and serving areas. It feels like a charming oasis. The work and pride that Is Rosewood Events is evident in every last detail. I could go on for pages. Ann, the owner is fantastic as well as her team. They are committed to giving each wedding the exclusivity they deserve. That means 1 wedding per weekend. My sister got married here this past weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. I only met Ann (Anne?) the day before at the rehearsal but she was so very kind and helpful. The property itself is awesome. It's great to have the whole wedding in one place with lots of different spots for photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc. The bridal cottage was perfect for our group of about 10 to get ready. The most special day. Our daughters wedding was held here in May 2018 and it was so much fun. The location was just breathtaking and there was so much to see and do. My initial thought was what are we going to do for 6 hours but the time just flew by and it was all over too soon. I really want to do it all again to continue the wonderful feeling from that day. Was there as a guest for a wedding and had the most amazing time. The staff was really friendly which made for a flawless experience. The owner Ann is super sweet and both her and the staff made the wedding very professional and enjoyable. The wedding tent was my favorite part, it was a brisk night but the tent kept very warm and didn't even notice any outside weather. We are so glad we decided to marry at Rosewood Events; we could not imagine a better overall experience. We wanted a venue with outdoor beauty coupled with logistical support, a ceremony and reception site in the same location, and an emphasis on a positive guest experience. Rosewood delivered all that and more. It offers three sites for the ceremony depending on your preference - we chose the Willow Tree, which was magical. Our guests were sheltered from the sun before, during and after the ceremony where we gathered under redwoods for cocktails. The tent is a true standout. Accommodating both the meal and a huge dance space, we had more fun than I've ever witnessed at a wedding. Truly, all of our guests danced, all of them, ranging from the 12- to the 65-year olds. When folks wanted some space and air, there was an outdoor fire pit. So, awesome facility. Anne has thought through everything the couple could want, and spent the day making sure it happened for us. Absolutely delightful. I recently attended a wedding here and it was simply incredible. The ceremony was in the shadow of majestic redwoods, with beautiful views in all directions. The cocktail reception was close by under some sturdy shade structures. The many kids at the wedding delighted in corn hole, exploring the grounds, and enjoyed the many little touches that Ann and her team have added to the grounds. Dinner and dancing was in a convivial tent with ample room for 150+ guests. A bit of a drive, but Rosewood fully captures the magic of Northern California (and the north bay, in particular). read more
