My…read morenieces and I embarked on a float trip today on Crooked Creek, and it was truly a day of pure joy. The weather was flawless, and the creek's gentle flow perfectly complemented our adventure. Gabe's expertise and warm guidance made all the difference, as he walked us through the process and empowered the least experienced among us to grasp the basics. As we set off, laughter and excitement filled the air - a testament to the magic of Crooked Creek Outfitters. Given our busy lives, it's rare for the three of us to come together, but Crooked Creek Outfitters made this reunion seamless and effortless. All we had to focus on was soaking in the breathtaking beauty. Thank you, Gabriel Novak, for crafting memories that will last a lifetime. Also the cost was extremely reasonable. If you think you can't afford a float trip call Gabe his prices are shocking!

We just stayed here this weekend. The rooms are fantastic and the owner is great! We rode in on…read moreour motorcycles and he offered to put them in his private garage. My only complaint about the room was the cheap grade of toilet paper. Also, anyone over 6 feet tall should be prepared to crouch a bit in the shower. My husband and I both are under 6 feet tall so it wasn't a problem for us. We also dined in their restaurant both nights. The first night my husband and I both had the filet, which was delicious though a bit overcooked. We both asked for medium and received medium-well almost well done steaks. We added the mushroom sauce and it was wonderful. The second night my husband got the filet again and it was cooked to perfection. I got the Tuscan chicken and it was delicious as well. They only serve wine and beer but that was ok because we were both in the mood for wine both nights. They also had a red sangria that was to die for. It's a bit pricey but the food is excellent and the view is phenomenal.

You can tell he truly cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The cabins were also fantastic -- very clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell they take a lot of pride in keeping the property in great shape. And I have to shout out Chad, our guide -- this was my very first time fly fishing, and he made the entire experience so fun and easy to learn. He was patient, encouraging, and clearly knows his stuff. I never once felt intimidated, which says a lot for a beginner experience! Between the hospitality, the beautiful setting, and the unforgettable time on the water, this place is something special. Highly recommend whether you're experienced or brand new -- they'll take great care of you!
