Roses and Berry Cafe hosted my Daughters Baby shower January 10th 2026. First of all the Food was Fabulous! So fresh and delicious! Zeineb is their catering manager and she was fabulous to work with on picking out a menu to serve at the Shower . She was also present during the shower making sure everything was going well and we had everything we needed Communication was great! The Cafe couldn't be more fitting for a themed Baby in Bloom baby shower! With all the floral decor already there it was beautiful!! It was a very intimate setting opening gifts on one of their sofas with all her guests gathered around. The owner of the cafe was there and was so gracious. The Cafe was lovely and the food delicious! It is not the usual version of croissant or bowl. The staff seem middle eastern and the food had flair. I had Dulce de Leche Crepes. I was worried they would be at sweet, but the creme, bananas and whipping cream were just the right not-too sweet. We shared Falafel and hummus, which also was very good. Try a croissant! Very cute place! I looked on Yelp for a cute brunch spot while visiting from out of town. This one came up and it is so cute from just the entry. You order at a walk up counter and do self service on water and utensils. They have spa water available for customers. We ordered a bananas foster latte, a croissant sandwich and butter chicken. Roses and Berries is the cutest cafe! I love the decor, and you can't help but be happy when you visit here. My mom and I recently tried this place for lunch. I got the Chicken Shawarma, and she got the Mediterranean Grilled Cheese. Both come with fries and are very filling. They have a decent selection of wraps, salads, and entrees. They also have some delicious looking pastries, so I will have to go back to try those. read more

We are visiting some family and this place was suggested for lunch. It is really pretty inside- they have beautiful flower arches on the wall as well as very bright decorative lighting. We were able to snag a table for the six of us in one of their nooks, if you have a larger group, I highly recommend this as it is just a little bit quieter. we were able to call early this morning to make a reservation since there were six of us, this was greatly appreciated as I understand it could be difficult to find a table. I had the roasted beet salad with chicken added, $17 and my husband ordered the butter chicken that came with basmati rice and a side salad. I would say the additional chicken on the salad was a bit dry and I wish there was just a tad bit more feta. My husband said his butter chicken was wonderful. My sister-in-law ordered the quiche and that looked amazing! I would definitely give that a try next time Service is very gracious. Our two dishes and iced teas rang up about $57. There are two gender neutral, restrooms, both handicap accessible as well. No outdoor seating. The parking lot is a bit tight. While we haven't tried all of the bakery items we purchased we can report the food has been spectacular. The Nutella crepes were great, the avocado toast was wonderful, we enjoyed one of our macaroons already and it was tasty! Came here on a rainy Friday. It was super packed for glad we reserved a table before hand. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I got the omelet croissant and it will forever live in my dreams. I am very picky with my eggs and these were so perfectly cooked, fluffy and creamy. My mom got the quiche and my husband the avocado toast with lox and both had a cappuccino. I had a hot tea, and I loved all the cups the drinks came out in. Delicious. Not as impressed this time around. A wonderful restaurant with fabulous ambiance. It was pretty empty on Thursday morning around 9:40 am.l, which was unusual to me). We decided to choose the Dubai croissant and the chocolate croissant with 2 Roses & Berries Lattes. The Dubai croissant was delightful with a crunchy little paste inside. The croissant part wasn't quite as light and fluffy as the chocolate croissant was. The lattes were a bit of a disappointment. Very strong, bold taste but not very hot, only warm. The surprise came when I looked at my e-mail and saw that this order came to $32 + and included a credit card processing fee. That was new and I didn't see it posted anywhere that this was to be the case. While I enjoy the atmosphere, paying $32 for 2 desserts & 2 small coffees seems a bit much and I wasn't happy with the extra fee that was unexpected. We tend to not go to restaurants that charge a fee above the menu price so it may be awhile before we return. I get that there is a fee for them to accept credit card charges but that's a cost of doing business and should either be reflected in the price or discounted if you pay cash. In any case, it should be stated on the menu if there is a charge or discount. read more

Walked in and there is a sign that says, "Seat yourself and order at counter. We sat our selves. No menus; you have to use a QR code. Every breakfast item stated that is unavailable. I tried the chicken salad croissant and it was also unavailable. We left. No one e er acknowledged us or anything, so it sucked. read more

First, the atmosphere is lovely, bright, clean, very feminine decor. Lovely place for a ladies brunch or tea. We went for breakfast on a stop through Dubuque. I got the shakshu, it was excellent, very hot , eggs perfectly poached and the whipped feta was delicious. Husband got the omelette croissant, excellent croissant and fluffy omelette. He also tried the raspberry danish and commented on the freshness, he said it was great. We only got an americano coffee. I wish there was something like this in Wisconsin. Would definitely come back! They have tagine on the dinner menu!! The pastries in the case looked very good and the crepes everyone was ordering looked fabulous too! The atmosphere is unique in Dubuque. Someone spent a ton of money on plastic flowers. The bright white walls and big windows make it feel bright and sunny. Might be a nice place to read a book. Love that the menu is more varied than most every other restaurant in town except maybe Lina's. I appreciate the effort that takes very much. The service was friendly. The prices were high but not unreasonable. Still not sure how to get ice for my water... Sadly, the shawarma bowl was completely disappointing. The chicken seemed of good quality but the execution lacked any flavor--Mediterranean, garlic, or otherwise--and was just boring. More seasoning and some olives, pickled beets, etc would definitely be an improvement. I can get plain-tasting chicken a lot cheaper anywhere across the street. It's the sort of place I'd bring out-of-towners but won't go to just grab dinner. read more

Visiting Galena and Iowa and found the cutest restaurant. The decor is stunning, bright, and airy. I came with my family and we had a lavender honey matcha tea and roses & berry latte. Both were delicious and came in the cutest cups. We tried the quinoa salad that was fresh a with the most tender chicken. My husband and I had the turkey and house omelets with the most amazing sauce prepared daily by chef Jose! The sauce was umami-rich and I enjoyed it so much. Amy was our waitress and she was kind enough to provide me with some sauce to go. She was bubbly and catered to all tables quickly. I ordered the avocado toast with egg, and it was DELICIOUS! I am not a feta fan, but it paired so well! The bread is thick but works for the toast! My drink was not very good, to be honest I can't remember what i got but was something with mocha and a hot drink. I tried the Rose and Berries, which was very good. They also have flavored water. The cucumber water is worth going there for just that! The ambiance is exactly what you would want; it's beautiful and ideal for pics and brunch settings!! They are newer, so service has a learning curve, and there is definitely a curve right now. We had to ask several times where our drinks were and waited almost 30 minutes while others that were after us had been served both food and drinks. My wife and I visited the roses and berries cafe for the first time this morning on the recommendation of our daughter. I had the Croissant omelette, my wife had the Roses and Berries Crepe, and we both had hot lattes. They both had simple ingredients, but I think the croissant was the best I've ever had and my wife said her crepe was very light and flavorful. The lattes were hot and very smooth. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in a beautiful setting. All of the specialty pastries looked so good, we couldn't leave before we bought a couple to take home with us.
