Roses and Berries is the cutest cafe! I love the decor, and you can't help but be happy when you visit here. My mom and I recently tried this place for lunch. I got the Chicken Shawarma, and she got the Mediterranean Grilled Cheese. Both come with fries and are very filling. They have a decent selection of wraps, salads, and entrees. They also have some delicious looking pastries, so I will have to go back to try those.

We are visiting some family and this place was suggested for lunch. It is really pretty inside- they have beautiful flower arches on the wall as well as very bright decorative lighting. We were able to snag a table for the six of us in one of their nooks, if you have a larger group, I highly recommend this as it is just a little bit quieter. we were able to call early this morning to make a reservation since there were six of us, this was greatly appreciated as I understand it could be difficult to find a table. I had the roasted beet salad with chicken added, $17 and my husband ordered the butter chicken that came with basmati rice and a side salad. I would say the additional chicken on the salad was a bit dry and I wish there was just a tad bit more feta. My husband said his butter chicken was wonderful. My sister-in-law ordered the quiche and that looked amazing! I would definitely give that a try next time Service is very gracious. Our two dishes and iced teas rang up about $57. There are two gender neutral, restrooms, both handicap accessible as well. No outdoor seating. The parking lot is a bit tight. Overall, a very nice experience, healthy, organic food, and we would definitely be back when we're in the area

A light and airy decorated place lots of flowers and spotless. Ideal for taking a mother in law too she will be impressed. The food is fresh and vibrant. Full of flavors and done with care. The service is kind of a self serve you pick your table and place your order at the counter. Note; in the hall to the bathroom they have the chefs diplomas and recognitions of excellence. Check it out.

This cafe was recommended by an Airbnb host. They have an excellent menu full of fresh items including shakshuka, pastries and breakfast bowls. The food was delicious and the decor was so Instagram worthy. We liked it so much we went back the next day.

I have never tasted more crispy potatoes in my life than I have here. The omelette croissant is so good. It is wonderfully buttery and flaky. The Dubai croissant is also very good.

While we haven't tried all of the bakery items we purchased we can report the food has been spectacular. The Nutella crepes were great, the avocado toast was wonderful, we enjoyed one of our macaroons already and it was tasty! The atmosphere is on point and very chic and the staff was very helpful and prompt. We enjoyed this brunch very much!

Gyro Wrap and fries. Very good!

Fast, friendly service and great food and atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try something else on their menu (crepe probably )

Came here on a rainy Friday. It was super packed for glad we reserved a table before hand. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I got the omelet croissant and it will forever live in my dreams. I am very picky with my eggs and these were so perfectly cooked, fluffy and creamy. My mom got the quiche and my husband the avocado toast with lox and both had a cappuccino. I had a hot tea, and I loved all the cups the drinks came out in. Delicious. We all enjoyed our items very much and I grabbed a few pastries to go.

We searched for a lunch spot for our girls weekend. I cannot say enough about the food, the atmosphere, the service , the vibe, and the beverages. The mezze platter and the crepe were amazing! We went back the next day! The family story just adds to the soul connection of this place! I'll be back.

We visited Rose and Berries Cafe on a trip to Iowa. The food was flavorful and delicious! Our group had the Turkish sausage omelette, house omelette, grilled cheese sandwich, baba ganoush, Oreo cookies and cream crepe, peanut butter protein smoothie, and Turkish coffee. Everything was delicious and they even brought extra bread. Great to see a wider variety of food in the Midwest (from this California native).

The inside was so cute. They even had fancy tea cups. The person who check out was so nice. We also got so fresh baklava and pastries for the road they were amazing. Over all this is an amazing place. Should come everyday if I didn't live so far away.

Recently, some close friends, my wife and I drove over to Dubuque for a weekend getaway. We love…read morefarm-to-table restaurant concepts and in-city dining, so we thought Convivium would be an ideal spot to have breakfast on our first day in town. As great as this place could (if not should) be, it will never reach it's potential with the lousy customer service that we experienced. Why do I say this? Read on Yelper. We arrive for breakfast around 9:45 am on Saturday. There was a little bit of a line, which is to be expected at any well known breakfast/brunch establishment, right? The young lady working the register asked if we wanted to pick a table outside, handed us four menus and told us that someone would be out there to help us shortly. We sat at an empty, yet still dirty with plates from the last customers, table that was in the shade. Annnnnd we waited. As staff came out to attend to other customers sitting in the same patio area, the four of us sat there waiting for water, coffee, a smile... heck even an acknowledgement that we were there would have been nice. Seriously, if the Invisible Man was real and sitting at the table, he probably would have had a better chance of being noticed by the servers working that morning. We ended up busing our own table because no staff would bother to do it - I'm very serious. Nearly 20 minutes pass. As another couple comes into the patio, sits down and gets near immediate service with their drink orders, we had it! We entered the restaurant to find out what the problem is for such terrible service?!? The tall, head service member (did not catch her name) had an attitude for sure with her question "Did one of us seat you?" and we answered that "No, your host teammate told us to grab the table." She damn near rolled her eyes. Finally, lightening struck... someone showed up to give us water, wipe the table, and take our order. But don't get your hopes up that this was the end of bad service. Regrettably, it was not. We waited nearly 25 more minutes to get our order of eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sausage. Tough order for a breakfast place, don'tcha think? Out comes the food... without utensils to eat with. 4 mins of watching your food get cold motivated us to good inside and get our own utensils. As we did, the head member walks out with the items. Now - let's shift to the one positive part of the experience and that of course is the food. To show you that I am a reasonable reviewer, I will tell you that the meal was very tasty, cooked to order, and satisfying (especially when you're starving!). When I said at the beginning that this place can be great, the food is the reason why. After a Friday night of fun, a place like Convivium is just what you want for a Saturday breakfast before an afternoon of NCAA College Football - you know what I mean? But until management decides to hold the staff accountable for this terrible customer service, Convivium will be closed in less than 5 years (my prediction). Read some of the other reviews... we share the same general opinion. And this is coming from someone that values restaurant concepts like this one. Get it together before its too late, Convivium.

What a disappointment. Yelp usually leads me to amazing spots, but this was a fail…read more I loved the concept and the cool vibe of the place but the food and the service were lacking the same luster. My dad, sister, and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. My sister enjoyed her chicken pesto panini but Dad found his pulled pork to be dry and bland. I ordered broccoli cheese soup with sourdough toast. The soup was absolutely disgusting. It was so thick, overcooked, and tasted like it had been on a back burner for three days straight. Not to be gross, but it looked like congealed dog vomit. When I mentioned to our server, she was very condescending. I would like to try again and hopefully it was just a tough day.

Right from the start the hostess was rude. I thought maybe it was me, but observed her rude to others. This is a restaurant's first chance to set the tone, and she is not doing them any justice. I always get burgers well done from a food safety perspective. It was medium at best. We already waited 40 minutes for food so I didn't send it back. The server never came back to ask how our food was either. My niece got a grilled cheese on the kid's menu. It was 90% bread for a 4 year old. Parents don't get this option! It's not worth the money. I know they were busy so trying to be respectful of that. Unfortunately the service was slow, the staff lacking and the food average to below, so go for a drink but choose your food wisely.
