I came in as a model for Taylor and she did such a fantastic job! I asked for her to get me blonder while giving me something low maintenance and she immediately understood and gave me exactly what I wanted. She really took the time and effort to make sure that my hair came out perfect and is clearly passionate about her craft! The photos don't do her work justice, but she definitely is/has already perfected her balayage technique! Also the salon is super nice and uses all Oribe products. They serve still/sparkling water and the chairs even massage you while you're at the bowl! Super luxurious experience and the owner clearly has a lot of expertise. Parking can be tricky, but there's definitely street parking nearby that can be found versus the meters that need to be topped up every hour. read more

Still see Amber. Highlights still beautiful. She's the best of the best. I also left out Kate in the first review, but I like a very specific haircut with dry cut pieces and she nails it. She's also really sweet. Will never go anywhere else in LA. read more

This elegant enclave has probably the most devoted clientele in Brentwood. And for good reason. Kate and her fellow artists (and that's what they are, artists) work magic on a daily basis. The prices reflect that artistry. But that's OK. If you're serious about looking your best, this is the place. And the decor/vibe is a treat, in its own right. Elegant. Soothing. Just right. read more

This is my second time at RoseRoom and they do not disappoint! I hadn't had my hair cut or colored in two years so I was long overdue. Amber is such a pro and knows exactly how to deliver what you ask for. I left with a rich brown that I love! I was a hair model for Dana and she was excellent! Very professional, gentle touch and followed guidance/suggestions given by Kate. She has a great future of hair in her future Thanks, RR! read more

I recently moved to LA and have been looking for a salon nearby. I thought I needed all over color to restore the darker base color of my hair and say goodbye to the highlights that were looking overly blonde. But Brie decided all I would need to achieve my desired look was toner. TONER! My hair looks great and I even ended up spending a lot less money than I had planned. Brie was fantastic! I will be back. read more

RoseRoom Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Amazing job ! Went there for the first time drove all the way from West Hollywood. Got a haircut for me and my daughter our girl was amazing! I love my haircut! Front desk was super nice and accommodating and prices are unbelievably low ! Thank you ! It was fast , simple and perfect! read more

Very mediocre quality of work ... Amber needs to learn more skills ... convenient location , but unfortunately not worth the time . Very uniform styles , cuts, color and work quality , looks ... very disappointing. Their scheduling style is totally messed up . They disrespect you - hide and seek games . Not available , double booked , all you hear , or worse yet - they will cancel your appointment exactly as you arrive forcing the helpers to get busy with clients they , the owners , take for granted ... typical all women salon of intrigue and cheap games ... who needs this ? ! read more

Booked a cut and color with Sammie and she did such an incredible job! I had never dyed my hair before and she executed my vision perfectly. Left the salon feeling so confident. Big fan of this salon and can't wait to book my next appointment with Sammie again!!! :) read more

I kid you not, that I literally get stopped on the street asking for the name of my colorist. I joke with Amber (one of the owners) that I should just carry her card around. Instead, I happily text total strangers her contact information so they too can have beautiful, natural-looking blond hair. Amber's ability to figure out the best blond each woman should be is an art. She is immensely talented. I have sent numerous girlfriends to her who just don't have the right color (you know the ones!) and even years later, they continue to thank me for changing that god awful orange to hues of golden blond. Kate (the other owner) cuts my hair and is equally as talented. Her schedule is tight because of how good she is but I promise, she is worth the wait! She once gave me a bob that was so beautiful that she had all her clients asking for the same cut. I have very fine hair and I didn't think I could actually like a short cut but Kate made me love my hair like never before. Having said that, she cuts all types of hair. Her range is incredible. Moreover, these two women aren't just talented they are also very cool. Almost every high-end salon I have been in has a sort of negative and gross industry vibe. The Rose Room is unlike anywhere else. As with any great company, the attitude trickles down from the top and it is relaxed and inviting. Amber and Kate have clearly worked hard to hire only the best and coolest people. When you add on how beautiful the space is, why go anywhere else? Cheers! read more

Amber, Bri and Kate, are simply the best. I have been with Kate and Amber for 15+years. I met Bri 2 years ago and she is wonderful too. All 3 of them listen to what you want and work with you to create your vision. And they never disappoint plus they make you feel at home in the beautiful salon setting. Let's not forget Patti who is also a true gem. If you looking for real talent Rose Room is the place to go. read more

I have been going to Kate and Amber for years! They are the best and their salon is so beautiful! Def recommend!

I have been with Kate and Amber for about 15 years. There is nobody else I will touch my hair but not only are they extremely talented hairdressers who actively listen to what you want, they are kind, caring gals. I was so thrilled when they opened RiseRoom Salon. It is not only aesthetically beautiful, Amber and Kate's Vibe make it feel like home. I truly would not trust anyone other than Kate and Amber with my color and cut. read more

Rose Room is beautiful space with wonderful and friendly staff. Never pretentious always inviting. I am in my 50's. I have dry curly hair a little bit longer than shoulder length. After Amber does her magic my hair feels great, looks shinny and never brassy. Amber is by far the best colorist I have ever used. Kate does my extentions and cuts my hair when it needs a trim. My hair goes from short to long and thin to thick over night. The extentions look so good that none of my friends, family or strangers have ever guessed that I have extentions. When I tell them they make me prove it. Kate has never damaged my hair from the installation and the maintenance of the extentions. When I give my hair a break from the extentions its strong and well maintained. I have been a client since 2014. This is a quality place with quality people. read more

Came to RoseRoom with a friend to have our hair colored. The salon has beautiful aesthetics, is clean, and not far from the freeway so easy to get to. Parking is meter only and scarce so had to park far. The stylist Kaylynn and her manager Amber consulted us on what kind of hair color to do and we followed their recommendation. Unfortunately the hair color did not work. It did not cover any white hair, made our dark brown/black hair lighter in some areas, and it got over all of our towels and bedding post the first hair wash. Even when Kaylynn finished, we had hair color all over and in our ears, our neck and spots on our face but we had to ask for cleaner to wipe it off ourselves. Her manager did not come at the end of the session to check and consult. We just paid and left. When I returned in person to try and reach a resolution I was met with a hostile and annoyed tone. Would not recommend. read more

I was looking for a place to get my hair cut and colored around my house, and asked around to get recommendations. I began going to another place, in the same location. Only several months after I visited the old salon, it changed hands-- and so glad! The new owners are more in tune with what their clients want! So considerate! And friendly-- willing to talk and listen. I see the new owners, and company having a wonderful future. read more

RoseRoom Salon has the most talented Hair Colorists and Stylists I've ever been to. I've been to top salons in Los Angeles and NYC and have not seen stylists/colorists of this caliber. Amber is a highly talented colorist who makes my hair natural yet pop with beautiful highlights. We've gone lighter and darker and no matter what we try, it always looks amazing and not streaky or orange (which I've encountered at other places.) Elena is fantastic at cutting my hair and has done beautiful color as well when Amber wasn't available. The salon itself is chic and stylish and you feel great from the moment you walk in. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a well rounded experience and pretty hair! read more

I had a good experience up until recently when I went for a partial balayage. I was originally told the total cost would be $300. During my appointment, it was clear that my stylist (Elena) booked someone else that coincided with me and I sat and waited for 15 minutes at one point for her while she shampooed someone else. She told me that blow dry was not included in the cost of balayage and that she didn't have time to do toner but I could come back at any point once I had a feel for the color and add in the toner if I wanted it a warmer like we had discussed originally. When I called to make the appointment for a toner, they told me it would cost an extra $50, which again I hadn't been told and which doesn't make sense since most people who get a balayage need toner. So $400 total for a partial balayage. When I called a few other places and talked to friends, I was told that a standard partial balayage costs $250 not including tip. I unfortunately will not be returning to this salon. read more
