My wife was in need of getting updated hearing aids quickly since her older ones were performing poorly. They say they have a "Low-Income" program and require you to send tons of paperwork as proof, which we did. It took us over two hours to gather, scan and e-mail everything they requested. After close to two months of waiting their story changed and she was told it could take up to 6 MONTHS to get hearing aids on their "Low Income" program. While in the process of waiting for their "Low Income" program, they were of course pushing their $4,000 hearing aids with Financing. They weren't even able to fix the old hearing aids so we have to go to a more accommodating company. They shouldn't offer a "Low Income" program if people have to wait up to 6 MONTHS for urgently needed hearing aids. It just seems like a big bait and switch operation...

My wife, finally tired of having to repeat everything thing she said, insisted that I get my hearing checked; as she pointed out that not being able to hear will cause a decline in a person's cognitive ability. The cost on hearing aids covers complete evaluation of your hearing needs and three years of care, including recalibration as need to fit your needs. "You don't know what you don't know!" And you don't know what you are unable to hear until you are able to hear it! I am completely satisfied with my experience with Dr. Robinson. I recommend her with my highest level of confidence. He assured me that there was never an intent to defraud and I believe him. I realize now that I should have taken responsibility for calling my insurance company myself. Had I done so, I would have learned that for audiology, a deductable applies as opposed to a copay. In turn, Dr. Perry has advised his staff to be more explicit when discussing insurance benefits with patients. I appreciate his candor and his honesty and the fact that he took the time to call me. As I mentioned in my original review, everyone was very nice; I would like to add that there was absolutely no pressure to buy hearing aids, I was upset when I wrote my original review, and feel that the misunderstanding has been resolved.
