No complaints but have some improvement recommendations; TV is pitifully small; the lighting in the bathroom isn't conducive to putting on make up; (much too dim); the light inside the door is a CFL and isn't bright enough to see what's in your luggage on the luggage rack. Room could use more USB outlets (there is a "hidden" one in the clock.) A cleaning staff member was not wearing a mask but when brought up to the mgr, was corrected immediately.

Our guest room was very clean, spacious, and included a microwave and refrigerator which we used. The cleaning staff refreshed our towels in between our two day stay. The front desk recommended places to dine and we chose the Pasta House which was very good and again the staff was so nice. Farmington really wins the prize for having such nice people. This hotel is advertised as being dog friendly (not dog friendly with limitations). Come to find out, the room we initially booked is on the second floor and dogs aren't allowed there. To add to it, the initial room we booked with a jacuzzi doesn't have a shower. 2. The hotel advertised a $25 per stay (not per pet) REFUNDABLE pet deposit. This hotel, on the other hand, charges $34.17 per night, non refundable? 3. The initial room we booked was about $110 a night and, after it not being "dog friendly", we were moved to a different room that had a rate of about $65 a night. We were told that we would get refunded for the difference. When my husband went to to talk to the manager, she said "we will waive the pet deposit and that will make up the difference. That's all we can do." Well, that didn't suffice with me. I went and talked to the woman and she said "no, we will refund the difference, but we are charging you for the pet fee for both nights". The owner, I assume, got involved and said "we will waive the pet fee for your first night, but we're charging you for the second" 4. This place is run down and the room and other common areas are just gross. I know that this is not a 5 star hotel, but holy cow.... There is a limit to what is "tolerable" for a pet friendly 2-star hotel and this place is not even close to meeting that mark. 5. At breakfast, the options all looked nasty. After everything else that I have encountered, I was not about to try the food and risk getting food poisoning. They left a bowl of shredded cheese on the counter next to the hot bar without any refrigeration or ice. It literally looked melty by 9am. Absolutely disgusting. Rental includes a 10% off coupon for one family's meals at the restaurant (which features an ample buffet), breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food is above average roadside diner fare. I enjoyed the open face roast beef sandwich. The motel rooms do not have internet access, but free WIFI is available in the lobby. The best aspect is the privacy and the price. Pets are allowed for an extra fee.

Upon entering the room, I noticed a foul stench, and roaches crawling up the walls and out from under the furniture. I then went and asked for a refund, not a minute after paying for the room and the owner/manager refused to give any refund. To make it even more interesting, after staying because I couldn't get my refund... the manager confronted family I had in the area who were dropping my daughter off and told them they had to immediately leave and instructed me to stay in my room and that I could not come out. In addition he had the nerve to tell me I had to keep my curtains shut and remain in the room at all times. Last tim I checked, when you get a room at a hotel you are not confined to your room. They have a pool that rivals the muddy, infectious one that you see in National Lampoons Vacation when they rent those shacks on their trip. The owner of this establishment is of middle eastern descent and clearly doesn't realize this is not a dictatorship and the citizens of this country are free to come and go as they please. So I repeat: DO NOT STAY IN THIS MOTEL!!!!
