I was with Dr. Rosen for two years because I needed braces for a tooth that was far out of place, as well as other issues with my teeth. The first thing you'll notice when you walk into Dr. Rosens office is the bright atmosphere. The office is well decorated and very pleasant. Along with that Dr. Rosen and the other dentist and staff that work there have always been incredibly nice to me. I'm glad I chose their office because they always seemed to have my best interests in mind and took the time to get to know me. Throughout my treatment I was very well educated in what was being done to me and why. They clearly explained the financial information up front and made sure I knew how much the treatment was going to cost. Getting braces isn't a fun time, but Dr. Rosen and her staff took every step to make it go as smoothly as possible. For that I'm very grateful. read more

In addition to the office always running late, they nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. Even though we paid full price up front, every single visit is anywhere from $50-$450 extra. It is ridiculous. Do not recommend unless you are filthy rich. read more

Dr K and Dr Rosen thank you so much for the amazing change in my teeth. After wearing Invisalign for the last 15 months it's amazing what a difference having straight teeth change your face. As an older person I would recommend anyone to get there teeth fixed. As a kid I never needed braces but I guess as an adult our teeth shift and become more crowed and so we end up with teeth over lapping each other not a good look. I took the plunge and decided to fix my teeth and it was worth every penny I spent. I have to say now that I'm done I'm going to miss seeing Dr K Thank you again. read more

First it should be noted that Dr. Rosen is generally running late. Not 10 minutes late, we're talking a half hour or more. Keep this in mind with your schedule. To the treatment: Dr. Rosen did my teeth, which looked great--until time passed and they began shifting under the permanent retainer she put in. When I went in regarding this, she told me I'd have to get a full set of braces to redo my mouth entirely! "At least $1500." This was a great disappointment. Furthermore, the new work Dr. Rosen described was more invasive than what she had originally done! I wish there had been better instruction for maintenance so this could have been prevented. I am absolutely shocked that my whole mouth has to be redone. Additionally, I wish there was a discount as I was a previous client there. Very, very disappointed. I do not feel comfortable recommending her practice. read more

Every time I am at either of Dr. Rosen's offices it is always an enjoyable experience. I am still in treatment although everything is going smoothly. I recently received a tag (screw anchor) as part of my treatment. I was afraid and nervous that it would be painful to have a screw in my gum. Although it was smooth sailing no pain involved and a simple procedure. It looks like a small bronze stud earring. Dr. Rosen is hands-on and everyone there is up beat and explains everything to you. As long as you do your part and follow instructions by keeping your rubber bands in and maintain good oral care it is a breeze. I will definitely write a follow up once my treatment is done. I took my daughter for consultation here. We met with Dr. Sakas Katz. On the positive side she took time with us which we appreciated. On the negative side I found her to be rough-edged bordering on hostile toward my daughter which shocked me as we'd never even met before. She issued two ultimatums and literally said "I wont be her doctor unless..." regarding a matter that is not a big issue for us. She also was rather obnoxious about a small hope my daughter had to have colorful bands on her braces and apparently, it is not possible with the type of braces she will get. The doctor said "most girls your age just get over it!" This doctor might be wonderful but we'll never find out as her bedside manner was so harsh we will see a different doctor who was gentler and offered the same treatment plan, along with the colorful bands which she claimed were impossible to have. My daughter has been going to Dr. Rosen for over 2 years now. Other than the occasional long wait time, it has been a good experience. The front desk, the staff, & Dr. Rosen are always very professional not just with me but they were also very good to my daughter. When I had questions, they answered and they always made sure my daughter knew what was going on. The only thing I can really say is be prepared for excruciatingly long wait times. My best suggestion would be to come at last an hour after your scheduled appointment time. They consistently over book their capacity. Their treatment is on-par and if they had their act together I would honestly give them four stars. What they don't understand is that patient satisfaction is an integrally large portion of their services. It's not what they do, it's how they do it. At this point I would say they need to learn how to accommodate their patients. read more

We have had a terrible experience with Dr. Rosen from day one of my daughter's ortho treatment. I only went to her because she was part of my insurance plan PPO (now I understand why) and the past two and a half years have been a nightmare. First they tried to sneak additional charges into my contract, which I noticed and after I contacted my insurance carrier, they removed. They had her wear rubber bands for 18 months! They kept saying "just one more time" and believe me, I made sure she was wearing them 24/7 after the 5th time of waiting hours in that cramped office for her appointments. Then they finally scheduled her to have the braces removed, after "one last check" this week. We went in and were told that they were taking off the braces next Monday, but just so you know, she still has an overbite. When I tried to ask for further explanation, the Dr. just kept using dental lingo and not giving me any answers. When I told her I didn't understand what she was saying, she put my daughter on the spot and said, "why don't you tell us what is going on" and basically accused my daughter of lying about wearing her rubber bands and told us "if she was my daughter, I wouldn't take the braces off but I am done so I'm taking them off." I am with my daughter all the time that she isn't in school, and I know she was wearing the rubber bands. Regardless, Dr. Rosen was SO unprofessional and rude, which I can take when it's directed at me, but when she accused my daughter of lying and made her cry (she is very shy and sensitive and never gets in trouble, always wants to do the right thing so she was terrified)...that was it. I am telling EVERYONE I know NOT to go to Dr. Rosen and I am switching immediately to an orthodontist that knows what they are doing, even though I am going to have to pay for it out of pocket since Dr. Rosen has already been paid--for doing nothing but wasting our time and being disrespectful and rude. read more

It was a pleasure getting my orthodontic treatment done at Dr. Rosen's office. From day one, the experience was worth 5 stars. At the new patient appointment, Dr. Rosen and her staff devoted a lot of time to explaining the process and all the treatment options to me and my parents. I really felt as though Dr. Rosen took the time to answer our many questions and we left with a clear understanding of what my treatment would entail. Throughout the year and a half that I was in treatment, each appointment was enjoyable. The staff was always upbeat and friendly, and I loved being in an office that was always booming with patients (some of you reviewers find this to be a negative but I will always pick a busy office over one that isn't). The contests and prizes were always additional perks to being one of Dr. Rosen's patients, but beyond all that I was most pleased with my treatment outcome. I was one of those patients who obsessed over doing everything that the doctor told me to do (eating the proper foods, never breaking brackets and always wearing my rubber bands as instructed) and it turned out that I had my braces off in a shorter time than Dr. Rosen has even initially estimated. I wear my retainer each night and my smile looks just as good today as it looked the day I got my braces off. I just came back from college for a retainer check and stopped in the office to visit with Dr. Rosen and her staff. I was pleased to see that they had made lots of improvements including a much larger reception room with a coffee bar and a kids section. As usual, I was greeted by smiling faces, not only by the staff but the patients as well. It's too bad that people are motivated to write yelp reviews by negative experiences, but I am confident that if every patient had the chance to write a review the negatives would be few and far between. read more
