It's a small space without natural light, but it does feel bright. It's clean and the children seem happy and well cared for. We are likely not pursuing a spot for two main reasons: the lack of natural light and the lack of a dedicated playground, or playground nearby. We feel strongly that we want our daughter to have outdoor education incorporated into her day, and I wasn't thrilled with the idea that she would have to walk on busy DC streets to get to a park without playground equipment meant for her age. In short, I think it seems like a perfectly nice place, but I don't think it's the right fit for us.

The curriculum is exactly what my wife and I were hoping from a Montessori and a diverse group of students (and parents) from all around the world! There is a cozy feel to the class which provides individualized attention while enjoying the vitality and "kid-ness" of having a group of peers to play, play, play! We are thrilled with our son's progress in math, reading and reasoning (saying something for a 4 year-old!) and know he is getting a good foundation for learning and that learning is fun. We are looking forward to the 2017-18 school year and I am happy to discuss if you have interest.
