This trip there the staff…read morewas friendly and very accommodating for our large group but we do have a couple issues though.1st The weeds they are out of control the weeds at the dog park and at the fire pit was so bad we could even use them we where in the lower loop.2nd We was staying in site 75 and the sewer smell was terrific so bad we couldn't seat outside our trailer. All in all with some maintenance this could be an awesome RV park again.

There are no sit down restaurants left after Covid and pickings are pretty slim even fir takeout. Luckily there is the Bowery Haven Snack shop. What to like: fresh faced young people taking your order and handing it to you directly when it's done. Most of these folks are college kids from local schools up for the summer to work. Remember that when you tip! They all seem very happy. Burgers. A variety of burgers freshly made to order on a tasty fresh bun. Fries cooked in beef tallow. You can substitute macaroni salad but the fries...Remember how great these were back in the day? They also have a good chicken strip dinner and fish n chips. They have salads as well. Not to miss is their delicious lemonade is multiple flavors and fountain drinks. Top everything off with hand scooped ice cream and believe me the scoops are very generous. The only downside is that everything is a little pricey. However when you consider any alternative is 45 minutes away and the great people, it seems worth it. Plenty of parking and lots of nice souvenirs and fishlake clothes to browse while you wait. Highly recommended.

The camp host on this trip was very friendly and helpful. They sell wood bundles for $6. The camp has separate male and female restrooms with flush toilets. And, enough drinkable site faucets that almost every site has 1. There are 2- accessible sites, and actual tent pads, not just a tent area. The Beaver river runs right in the campground, with an accessible area, completed with a park bench to sit on. There is also a group fire pit.

I came back to the site and noticed that a box with two cans of bear spray, a hatchet, a rubber mallet, and more was stolen. It was probably $200 worth of supplies. I talked to the camp hosts to see if they saw anything, but one was totally avoiding me and the other seemed dumbfounded. Neither asked if I wanted to file a report. The dumbfounded one said, "I did not even know there was such a thing as bear spray." To me, both were weird and evasive interactions. I had stayed here previously two years ago but would not trust to stay here again. I canceled my return reservation on 09/21/24 and am losing my $33 payment.

I have ruminated on whether to post a review, but am still disturbed by the unethical business…read moresituation that took place during my stay that I am unable to disregard. On February 22 I searched online for a 5-day stay with my desired amenities. Since my stay was to be in June, I knew it could be hot and I researched several parks in the area considering sites that were shaded from the south and the west, which is the hottest time of day in an RV. I do have AC, but choose not to use it, if site is properly shaded. I reviewed Google Earth and found Site #2 to accomodate my needs and paid an extra $20 to reserve that specific site. My confirmation clearly stated, "Site -2 Site # is guaranteed." When I arrived on June 16, I was met by friendly park owner, Glen. I advised him that I was in Site 2, which was occupied. He explained that the people in Site 1 had friends that he put in Site 2 to be next to them. He went on to explain that he had moved me to Site 3, which had more room. There was absolutely no prior communication provided for this change and no mention of a refund of the $20 site guarantee, as I would have likely not stayed here had I been informed. I inquired about shade and he advised that there was a good shade tree on Site 3. The tree provided shade in the morning, not in the afternoon. Now it was too late to book another campground, as it was hot and any campground with shade would certainly be booked. Further, the internet was mediocre. We stayed the 5 nights, but still are extremely disappointed with the business practices and lack of any communication regarding a site change at Circleville RV.

My husband and I were traveling from Southern California through Colorado to Cedar City, UT for his…read moregranddaughter's wedding. We were in Colona, CO to see fall colors in Crested Butte, Gunnison and Lake City and a little side trip to Telluride. From Colona, CO we stopped in Richfield, UT and my husband didn't secure reservations at an RV park. I went ahead and made a reservation at Venture RV Park Richfield which my husband had initially balked at. We arrived at Venture shortly after 8p on Wed. Oct. 8th, 2025. My husband couldn't really see the park's layout when we arrived, but when he woke up the next morning, he couldn't believe how beautiful this RV park is. This RV park is fairly new having opened in 2022. This RV park has paved roads and gravel RV sites. There are full hookups and pull-through and back-in sites available. There is a covered picnic area, a pickle-ball court, basketball hoop, playground, grassy area, and dog run. There are picnic tables at each RV site on a concrete pad. There are no trees for shade. Each site has it's own wi-fi connection. There is a laundry facility available and showers available too. The showers here are exceptionally clean and spacious. These aren't your typical bathroom stalls and separate shower stalls. There are, I believe, six secure bathroom/shower rooms available. Each room is spacious with a vanity to set items on and wall hooks and wall rack to hang towels and other items on. And the water pressure in the showers is fantastic! We've been on the road for almost two weeks now, and I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to shower in a spacious area with great water pressure. RV showers can be claustrophobic at times and I am a small person. So it felt really good to get a shower in here at this facility. I highly recommend Venture RV Park Richfield! The rates are very affordable and as I said earlier, this is a beautiful and exceptionally clean RV park!
