It was fun to meet other people and enjoy a spirited game together. I think they might have been short staffed because it took a long time to place a dinner order, but eventually we got to enjoy a burger. We also checked out e-bikes and explored the adjacent bike trail. We wanted to go out a little early and the nice man at the counter was gracious enough to come in early for us. The trailer site we stayed in was nice-lots of shade and a nearby shower and bathroom. I would love to stay at the site #17 which backs up to the river or cabin that overlooks the water next time. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again.

Unfortunately, this visit was one problem after another. We drove 12 hours to get here, only to be told that the key to our friends cabin was locked in the housekeeper's car at the repair shop. When we asked for help, the response was, "I don't know what to tell you." Then, a manager on speakerphone offered to bring a master key but made it clear that they weren't getting out of their car to deliver it. That level of customer service is unacceptable. The issues went far beyond the keys. We encountered: Lost cabin keys and employees who seemed unwilling or unable to help. Cigarette butts scattered everywhere. Run-down cabins, dirty sheets, and cats everywhere. A rude groundskeeper and poorly maintained grounds. Being charged for two cabins despite explicitly requesting a move to a better cabin by phone months in advance. A front desk employee who didn't know how to process a refund. Being told there were several restaurants open in Marysvale when we called ahead to ask how much food to bring, only to arrive and discover that none were open. No employees on-site overnight to assist guests when problems arise. The list goes on, but the bigger issue is the complete lack of management, maintenance, and basic customer service. Guests who travel long distances and spend their hard-earned money deserve better than this. It's genuinely sad because we used to love this resort and looked forward to coming back. Unfortunately, the condition of the property and the way guests are treated have changed our opinion entirely. We hope ownership takes these concerns seriously, because this place has so much potential, but it is being let down by the lack of care and accountability. We were excited to see what the new owners had done with this place only to be let down. Sadly, none of us will be returning.

Our first time there was the year they opened, the trees were small and there wasn't a lot of shade but Jim and Terri were friendly and great hosts. We stayed a week and had a great time. Jim gave us tips on where to go since it was our first time there. Our return this year didn't disappoint. I made reservations kind of last minute due to an open ended first half of our trip and they were able to accommodate us even with the jamboree going on. Our rig is 63' long and maneuvering around the park is easy. They had a transformer blow up while we were there and the same day one of the water pumps failed.They did a good job of keeping everyone up on what was going on. Fortunately a lot of people were out on the trail all day and didn't know till later. The power company was on it and had the transformer replaced pretty quickly. I have a job where I deal with the vacationing public and you can't please everyone all the time. My family camps a lot and have spent a lot of time in RV parks and campgrounds. In my opinion Jim and Terri do a great job and their park is one of the nicest we've been to. We loved this place 9 years ago and still do. We'll be back and it won't take another 9 years.

The fries and shakes were good, but the burgers were terrible. My wife's burger came with everything and although there was ketchup on the table the burger was swimming in ketchup and mustard. Mine was the "Cowboy" and came with fried onions, and the onions were so overdone, breaded, and SALTED that they were no longer onions. I removed the onions and ate what was left. I think the beef had some funky filler in it because it was packed tight and not loose like hamburger, and it tasted like it had oats or something in it. Both of us felt like the burger was with us all night, if you know what I mean. The staff needed some training but tried hard. I'd like to see this place succeed, but the prices were high and the cook needs to take some lessons.

I exited the freeway hoping to find some shade (temps were in the upper 90s), in a public place, where I could safely park for a brief time and I happily saw the sign for the Beaver Camperland, in Beaver, Utah. I spoke with the proprietor at the office, explained my situation and how I just needed some shade where I could close my eyes for 30 minutes. To which he said, "OK, that'll be $10." I realize this is a business, out there to provide a service for campers, and it wasn't a LOT of $$, but whatever happened to being a kind human assisting another human who is alone and tired and only needed some shuteye in the shade of a tree on the lot? It wouldn't have caused any hardship on him or the business?!? Just WOW! Needless to say, I was shocked and disgusted and I left, found a speck of shade behind a quickie mart -probably not a very safe place, but rested for a short time, then went on my way. NOT NICE!

Most of the people here appear to live here full time. Wouldn't recommend if not self contained, since they lock the bathrooms up, allegedly from 8 PM-6 AM. Two weeks ago we tried the bathroom doors at 8AM and 11AM...still locked and so was the office.

The little shop in the main building check in area was very cute and had a lot of fun things to look at and buy! We stayed one night in a tent camp spot. There are restrooms attached to the main building with showers, toilets, and sink/mirrors. There's also a dish washing space for longer stays. The camp site had decent shade and grass area to put your tent on. There were a couple picnic tables for use as well. There are free-roaming peacocks that are beautiful but are definitely loud in the morning! We went in July which is really hot for the hot springs, but it was nice since it wasn't busy! We had our soak time from 8-10pm which was great to view the sunset and soak while the air cooled off. It's such a unique hot spring location with bathtubs and larger pools. The owner walked around and made sure everyone was comfortable and was super friendly. I liked that they weren't sulfur hot springs so you didn't stink after! The negative reviews here seem like they didn't read the website that explained what to expect. I appreciate the websites honesty in keeping this location rustic and authentic, while acknowledging there are things they could improve. Knowing you're not going to a five-star location would be beneficial. The small business aspect played a huge role, in having great hospitality and a very friendly atmosphere. My husband and I were traveling from Southern California through Colorado to Cedar City, UT for his…read moregranddaughter's wedding. We were in Colona, CO to see fall colors in Crested Butte, Gunnison and Lake City and a little side trip to Telluride. From Colona, CO we stopped in Richfield, UT and my husband didn't secure reservations at an RV park. I went ahead and made a reservation at Venture RV Park Richfield which my husband had initially balked at. We arrived at Venture shortly after 8p on Wed. Oct. 8th, 2025. My husband couldn't really see the park's layout when we arrived, but when he woke up the next morning, he couldn't believe how beautiful this RV park is. This RV park is fairly new having opened in 2022. This RV park has paved roads and gravel RV sites. There are full hookups and pull-through and back-in sites available. There is a covered picnic area, a pickle-ball court, basketball hoop, playground, grassy area, and dog run. There are picnic tables at each RV site on a concrete pad. There are no trees for shade. Each site has it's own wi-fi connection. There is a laundry facility available and showers available too. The showers here are exceptionally clean and spacious. These aren't your typical bathroom stalls and separate shower stalls. There are, I believe, six secure bathroom/shower rooms available. Each room is spacious with a vanity to set items on and wall hooks and wall rack to hang towels and other items on. And the water pressure in the showers is fantastic! We've been on the road for almost two weeks now, and I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to shower in a spacious area with great water pressure. RV showers can be claustrophobic at times and I am a small person. So it felt really good to get a shower in here at this facility. I highly recommend Venture RV Park Richfield! The rates are very affordable and as I said earlier, this is a beautiful and exceptionally clean RV park!
