The table I sat at was very gross. Nail clippings, fake nails, lots of nail dust. Dead skin. Very short exactly 1 minute lotion slather on arms while one hand in nasty dryer light. Water was cold. Asked me to wash my hands after she put a tiny amount of cheap lotion on at the very end. Why do I need to wash off lotion if you're completely done? Bad place. read more

Ok so I'm usually a very optimistic reviewer. I rarely give anything lower than a 5 star but I had to get this rating out there. 1. I called and made an appointment for my daughter and I to get mani/pedis at 2 o'clock today. The first hint was that I had to remind the guy on my phone to put my name down for our appointment. Ok. No biggie. 2. We get there about 30 min early. I wasn't expected to get started early, just on the off chance that something freed up, we'd get in and get out sooner. Nope- my daughter and I weren't taken back for our pedis until 2:20. Even though I called at 9 am to make sure I get an appointment. 3. They clearly have a "kids menu" for manis/pedis for kids under 10. My daughter is 4. Yet when we got there, I realized that they had nothing to accommodate girls under 10. No smaller spa chairs and the lady that painted her nails looked like she didn't know what to do at first. If you're taking your little girl- all they're going to do is paint their nails very quickly - and sloppily and move on. I was pretty disappointed in this. 4. My shellac manicure is very mediocre. My nail tech didn't really get a solid coat on my nails and didn't clean up around my nails very well. When I got home my husband mentioned that it didn't look like I went anywhere professional and that it looked like I could've easily painted my nails. The total for my daughter and I was $109 and I'm pretty unhappy with the results. read more

Very disappointed in the service I received today. I have been going to Rose Nails for over a year now but the past 2 times my service have been awful. I figured I would give them another shot after last time and this is what I ended up with. Went in for a simple dip manicure and left with polish all over my fingers and under my nails, as well as bleeding from 3 spots where I was cut on my cuticles. The guy was extremely rough when filing and kept having to pause from making me bleed. I could tell he felt bad every time he made me bleed but instead of apologizing or trying a different method, he continued to go at the fast speed with carelessness. read more

Pedi and shellac mani. The quality of the job done was good, but I would say the pedi was way too fast. I got the smallest package and was done under 30 min. Maybe they should name it speed pedi. I just moved to Victoria from out of state and have been looking for a nice nail place. I decided to try here and was extremely pleased! I got a full set, and my nails look so great. I also got a pedicure, and it was probably the best pedicure I've ever had! The staff took their time and were very friendly. The facility was very clean, and well put together. I was a regular but I'll never go back! I had a pedicure and manicure everything was fine until I checked out. The woman who rang me up, was a woman I had a very bad experience with on a previous visit. Her service was so bad she was replaced. I knew it was trouble when she popped up at the counter. She rang up the charges $78. I gave her my card...she handed me the receipt...I signed it and added the tip...no problem right? WRONG...suddenly she says its $96. What? She attempted to explain but I really felt it was BS. She just stood the saying, it's more. I can't help feeling cheated...I had her replaced so now she cheated me. I don't understand why this place would only have a 3.5 star rating. I have been going here for many years, have had many services done by several employees and ALWAYS had a wonderful experience. Their salon is by far the nicest in town, they offer an adult beverage if you want to relax, and have always done great work. I give this place 5 stars hands down (no pun intended!) and recommend them to anyone looking for a good manicure. Ask for "Tu" (Two? Too? 2?), she is great! read more

My actual pedicure was nice..... however they tried to mischarge me and my 3 other girls that were with me..... owner said it was our miscommunication.... we pointed to the pedi we wanted.... how can that be miscommunication??? My daughter and I went there to get our nails done for christmas, the lady that did my nails would do what I asked her to do and I ended up with the shilac but within 1 week it peeled off. For the amount that I paid for shilac for my daughter and I it wasn't worth it. I will never go back! They don't listen to what the costumer wants, they are pushy to what will make it easier for them to get done quickly. Very very crappy job! read more

The manicures and pedicures are great here. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because I got my eyebrows waxed ($10) which is the usual price everywhere. All the woman did was wax my eyebrows. She didn't pluck or trim the long hairs. I didn't even get my eyebrows massaged. I was really disappointed and will not be getting my eyebrows done here ever again. read more

I've given this place several chances! This last time was the last time I'd ever do services with them. I got a pedi & fill w/ gel nail color. Long review short, my pedi was RUSHED & so were my nails! To the point where the nail tech made my finger bleed bc he moved so fast! 2 days later, my nails are PEELING ! Literally coming off. When I went in to get it fixed, their hours say they close at 7:00. I go in before 7:00 just to get told that they're closed! & couldn't even just fix what they messed up. I wouldn't recommend it.
