I wanted to make sure it's actually available if I pop in now, so I called the store... and got an AI? The AI couldn't answer anything, I wanted a person and asked for one several times, but AI refused and repeatedly offered to send me a link for currently available offerings. Ok, fine, send it. I follow the link and it takes me straight back to where I saw the cheesecake I wanted to begin with. All this takes 5x longer than just asking and ordering with a human being. Very frustrating. So I do get my cheesecake and the cheesecake itself is absolutely DELICIOUS! Fabulous flavor!! But it seemed awfully small and thin. I expected a significantly thicker cheesecake. The photos online are top view only, so I couldn't see the thinness. Definitely expected more cheesecake and less "homemade"looking for that price tag.

As my fiancee and I get closer to the big day, we are getting down to the fun aspects of wedding planning -- eating the food! We were able to work with our venue to get a wedding cake through Bakers Cottage Cakes, and we are super excited and pleased thus far. We arrived at the appointment, were greeted, and shown to the private tasting room within 1 minute. There was such a nice spread of cake and filling (12 cakes and 25 fillings in total -- holy cow!). They gave us some essential info to get us started and then left us to have our private tasting and discuss the cakes. The cakes were moist and delicious, and you would have sworn they made them right before you got there. So definitely don't sleep on the premium fillings. After we tasted and paired our cakes with fillings, we decided on our cakes and were able to get things sorted with Eloise. We left with our cake confirmed and a nice little sugar high! I would deff recommend checking Bakers Cottage Cakes if you are someone looking for a fun and easy experience in finding a wedding cake you like!

You never know what to expect when a vendor is chosen for you vs searching for yourself, but we couldn't be happier! We had our cake tasting with Bakers Cottage Cakes this week. Setting up the appointment via email was easy. We arrived a few minutes early for our appointment & rang the doorbell to get in. Eloise answered promptly and the whole team greeted us with big smiles and a warm welcome! They showed us to the private tasting room and gave us a "cheat sheet" so we knew what everything was and popular combos to try. They set up 12 cakes, 12 classic fillings, 13 premium fillings, and 2 buttercreams. Every cake was perfectly moist and delicious! The homemade premium fillings were incredible - silky, well-balanced flavors, and not overly sweet. And we loved how the Swiss meringue buttercream perfectly complemented every cake and filling combo we tried! After we tasted everything and made our selections, Eloise came back in and we discussed designs. She was great at explaining what was included in the package with our venue and showing us various designs we might like based on the vision we shared. Definitely recommend using Bakers Cottage for your wedding! I'm not sure if they do other events at this point, but it's worth an ask if you're looking for delicious desserts. We were greeted by a sincerely cheerful young guy as we open the front door. Entering from a wood porch, of course. The son patiently guides us through all of what's left from this morning's fresh-baked offerings. Not surprisingly, more than half the treats are gone at 12:30 in the afternoon. Clearly the locals know a good thing. He advises us to come earlier next time - 8-9am - so we may choose anything baked fresh that day. We opted for way too many items and then sat out on the front porch enjoying a few tasty tidbits. Junior told us his parents are from Venezuela and Portugal.
