Many of the beautiful features are off-limits to children and there is no equipment to help entertain children in a constructive way. Game room is not child friendly. Food and drink are allowed only in the poorly equipped kitchen and great room.

Emily, our day of coordinator, was good to work with. We live in California so we had some requests that we felt were normal but for a Utah venue apparently were different. We had to have many discussions regarding the bar and dance floor but were able to work it out. We also requested to bring in a caterer that was not on their vendors list which was met with hesitation but they were able to agree to terms and now I believe this caterer will be working with Quiet Meadow in the future! One great addition to this venue is that it comes with it's own decorations so we spent very little on any extras. The reason this venue gets 4 stars and not 5 is the amount of time you get the facility. We only had it from 2-10 pm and I am not sure why we couldn't have accessed the premisses sooner. If they extend the time and are a little more lenient on the bar, then it is a 5/5!

The building itself was built in the late 1880's and house the then Snow Academy founded by LDS church leader Brigham Young and his cousin. The Co-op building is more than just a local shop filled with items for sale by local artists though, it also houses a venue upstairs for things like receptions The building sits on the corner of Main Street a few blocks away from the college. There is plenty of parking behind the building and also in the street. A lot of the items in the store are created by local artists and people whose heritage traces back to the area. You can find crafts of all sorts. Recipe books, paintings, knitwear, you can find a bit of everything. The venue upstairs rents out for receptions and has plenty is space for seating. And close to 400 guests throughout the open house style reception. Plenty of space! Cinder Creek set up the chairs for the ceremony, and had the inside perfect for the dinner. They cleared chairs and left room for us to dance outside and inside with our DJ. The bartender was hired through Cinder Creek and did a fantastic job! The Soundsystem at Cinder Creek is also an A+. But the thing I hate about this course is that I've called about 15 to 20 times left a message on the answering machine never got a call back and the best they could tell me is we're helping out clients and I understand that but give the call back at least because without a set up teetimes you won't have any customers to take care of in the shop . And I normally bring at least six coworkers that plays because of me .you figure they would at least give me a call back never from this place. I've talked to their manager Jordan and he's not in control of the situation. He said we're doing the best we can Which I doubt. I understand the busy part but at least give a call back. Check your messages. Once an hour. Once every two hours shoot I wouldn't care if it's once every three hours. Been golfing for 23 years plus never had this problem.

This plant nursery has very pretty scenery like sun river garden, lots of plants to pick from. But…read morethat being said it looks like they don't maintain their plants because I saw a lot of dead trees, sick plants and plants of dire need of dead heading. when I did find pretty plants they didn't have a price on it. Some plants did and a lot did not. There were no workers to be found. It was like a ghost town. when I did find the price of the plants they over charged. I go to plant nurseries all over Utah and can find the same plants for half the cost and way more healthy. Shades used to be way better maintained but every time I've stopped by it seems like are becoming less and less maintained. I use to brag about this place but after today I just won't be back until they start to be organized, maintain their plants and have more affordable pricing. They are pricing out their customers.
