The first thing I noticed was the wide variety of inventory. Much of it reminds me of Relief Society's Super Saturdays where all the women get together and make crafts. You can find those here. Oddly, you'll also find mingled throughout the handiwork, mass-produced cheap stuff. It's a weird assortment of goods. After sorting through it all, I found some yummy soap and a little candy. This would be a place I'd probably pop in to occasionally to see what's new.

The building itself was built in the late 1880's and house the then Snow Academy founded by LDS church leader Brigham Young and his cousin. The Co-op building is more than just a local shop filled with items for sale by local artists though, it also houses a venue upstairs for things like receptions The building sits on the corner of Main Street a few blocks away from the college. There is plenty of parking behind the building and also in the street. A lot of the items in the store are created by local artists and people whose heritage traces back to the area. You can find crafts of all sorts. Recipe books, paintings, knitwear, you can find a bit of everything. The venue upstairs rents out for receptions and has plenty is space for seating. There is a kitchen for small food prep and a changing room if you are doing a wedding reception. Old wooden floors, adobe brick walls and a nice wooden staircase lead into the main area .

I am currently living in Europe and was responsible for planning a party in the states. I interviewed 5 candidates and Kenzie asked the right questions giving me the confidence she could do a good job. I typically plan all parties myself (I've planned and hosted many) AND I'm very picky so it was difficult for me to have someone help me. We chose a Swedish themed party and although she had no experience with this type of event, Kenzie did her homework and learned about the tradition so that she could provide guidance. We had 3 chiefs giving her direction, lots of changes and ideas coming from everywhere and in different timezones. Kenzie was flexible and willing to roll with the punches when needed. The highlight was the day of the event. Kenzie and her team set up the event, was there throughout the evening and then cleaned up. WOW, I was impressed! I cried as I entered the room because everything looked just like I imagined. I was the MC and hostess for the event. All I had to do was mention Kenzie's name and she was there to address my needs. She even thought of the little touches like making sure I had a piece of the cake, a floral wreath for my hair and copies of everything for memorabilia. The event venue complimented the cleanup. Attended a wedding here this past weekend and it was one of the most beautiful venues I've been to…read morerecently! The farm is tucked right up agains the mountains, with gorgeous scenery. The ceremony was held outside in the orchard, under the trees, which provided some nice shade on a warm day. Cocktail hour was outside the barn, half on the grass and half on the stone floor. The reception was hosted inside the barn - the interior was gorgeous, with a nice chandelier snd lit up trees. There was a bathroom on wither side of the venue, with easy access no matter where you were sitting. Dance floor was right outside the barn doors on a brick floor. It looked like there was a nice industrial kitchen in the back to prepare the food, and there is a big long Island/counter to serve food on from behind. The only downside is that at both weddings I attended, it didn't seem like there was a space set aside for dancing. This venue is a great place for any large event! Since it's in an enclosed space, however, you'll definitely be limited on guests.
