Rebecca and her husband are amazing. Their food is consistently delicious. Their facility is gorgeous. Whether your event is held inside or in the beautiful gardens you will not be disappointed. I have used their services several times, but most recently for my husband's 75th birthday party. Everything was perfect. I am a wedding planner and so I have tasted lots of different caterers food. I got asked to help out a wedding where the caterer fell through 3 weeks before the wedding. The groom and brides priority, for the day, was delicious food. They didn't care very much about photography, decor, entertainment, anything else. They just wanted delicious food and plenty of it! Clarion Gardens definitely delivered!! The food was so delicious!! Everyone loved it! We had so many wonderful comments about it!! Thank you!! Rebecca was so great to work with (especially as we both came in so late in the game. We saved this cute couples day.) I will recommend them 10 out of 10!! This is a great venue. My nephew got married here this week. It was a great place to have this kind of event. There is a garden area for photos. A staircase. A big room for ceremonies, music and dancing. A kitchen on the side to prepare food, and parking was pretty accommodating. I think all in all, everything turned out really good. read more

I spoke to a woman over the phone to get a quote, not only was she rude and insisted I looked online on the website, when I explained to her we have less than 100 people so I need a unique quote she went on to tell me "we don't travel for less than 100 people, it's not worth our time" Will never recommended to anyone of my clients moving forward read more

Clarion Gardens Catering came highly recommended from a family friend and they did not disappoint! They served the luncheon for my brother's wedding reception last Saturday and I can not rave enough about the delicious food and amazing service that was provided. As a wedding and event coordinator myself, I know great service when I see it. They went as far as to sweep the kitchen before they left. 10/10! This is a beautiful venue for weddings, receptions, luncheons and other celebrations. We chose it as the place for the wedding luncheon of my son, his new bride and friends and family members (90 adults plus a few children). I can't even find words to describe how perfect this place is. There was plenty of parking in the back. It's easily accessible. (Two in our party use wheelchairs). The food was absolutely delicious. Even though we were a little late arriving, the food was still hot and ready. The event space was beautiful and exactly like the pictures on their website. We used the banquet hall room with the provided round tables, chairs, white tablecloths, lovely centerpieces and lovely place settings. The gardens outside are well maintained and lovely. Rebecca and her staff were efficient and amazing. In the planning stage, Rebecca was super helpful explaining everything to me as I had never hosted an event like this before. The cost was very reasonable. (In our internet searching, I saw another venue that was twice the cost and didn't include food). I would definitely use them again. They offer quite a few menu choices for brunch, light lunch and lunch/dinner (Check their website for many other offerings including catering to go) We chose the light lunch option of a pasta bar which include two types of pasta, two sauces (Marinara and Alfredo), delicious sautéed vegetables (to meet vegetarian needs), protein choices of meatballs and/or grilled chicken. Also included were sides of Green Garden salad (with added feta and ranch dressing), soft herbed rolls and water or pink lemonade. Lastly there is a choice of two desserts. The bride chose the options of brownies with ice cream and a raspberry creme. The other possible choices were strawberry shortcake( my preference), Italian cream cake, chocolate cake with salted carmel, carrot cake or berries with ice cream. I chose this venue through a random internet search. Their beautiful website convinced me to look into it and I'm glad I did. Beware booking this venue. Would not refund my daughter's $500 deposit when they couldn't have gatherings due to COVID-19. Due to governor's gathering restrictions, Clarion nor any similar Utah venue could accommodate our needs. Yet they expected my daughter to indefinitely postpone her wedding...like that was going to happen in order to fulfill their contract. It's a beautiful place, but customer service is ugly. read more

I've been to five weddings this year. All of them outside. My friend's daughter got married at the Clarion and it was the worst of them all. The parking wasn't great. You can get stuck in the parking lot for a bit. I ended up parking on a residential street. The way they have the gardens situated is a bit awkward. There isn't enough room to have very many people in one spot so everyone is in different parts of the park. Immediately I noticed there were not enough seats for me and my three kids. So I went around asking if seats were taken and they all were. I decide we will sit on some rocks and a lady who works for the Clarion comes over and tells my youngest son to get down because they had someone break their arm. I was a little shocked by how rude she was about it that I was speechless. Still, I thought she would return with more chairs. I never saw anyone from the Clarion again until after the ceremony. It was very uncomfortable because I was wearing heels and there was nowhere solid I could stand. I wish we would've stood in an area further from the ceremony because we could hear nothing anyway. It seemed the sound system was just a prop. I have been to The Gardens at Dry Creek in Lehi, The Bungalo in Pleasant Grove, and two other weddings at homes, not mansions, and each of these was better. I say save your money and find a friend or relative who has a decent yard , hire a catering service, and you will be a lot happier. I have seen some amazing transformations to regular backyards and even LDS church buildings. read more

If you are looking for a wonderful place to hold a reception or banquet, this is it!! The venue is beautiful and is well maintained. The food is exceptional and Rebecca, the event coordinator, is very accomodating and well informed. She can make almost anything that you plan come out perfectly. There is an awesome sound system and projection system for your videos, DVDs, or background music. The selection of table linens and centerpieces is very extensive and the food is so amazing and Chef Rick is very accomplished. The prices are very competitive and we got so many compliments on both the food and the location. Keep in touch with Rebecca (she always gets back to you quickly if she doesn't answer immediately) and all will go well. Best decision we made. read more

We celebrated my Sister's wedding reception at the Clarion April 9th. No one in the family lives in Utah. Everything was coordinated via email from Idaho, Tennessee and Hawaii! The venue was exquisite! The pasta buffet was phenomenal! The owner/operator, Rebecca, was available and attentive to our Bride and her requests. The family had a wonderful time! We ordered too much food and requested the extra food be sent to a local shelter and the staff was right on top of it. The staff was professional and friendly even when the kids got a little rowdy on the stairs and needed reminding of the rules. We would highly recommend the Clarion for hosting events. We are even planning the newlywed's 20 year reunion there. ;) read more

We held a large family luncheon at Clarion Gardens for about 140 people following our daughter's wedding and would certainly recommend the venue to others. Rebecca and her staff were very flexible with our situation, and the food was outstanding. From our first interactions with her to arrange the details all the way through the end, Rebecca was great to work with. The staff were all very polite and helpful, and the venue also provided the audio/visual hookups for us to play music and video. We held my daughter's wedding reception at Clarion Gardens a few days ago and it was the best decision I could have ever made. We were able to enjoy our daughter's special day without stressing out about decorating another venue or worrying about food. Rebecca was very responsive throughout the planning process providing immediate answers to our questions. Many guests commented on the beauty of the venue. We had three food stations for 200 people and the food was delicious. The staff constantly supplied the food stations and kept everyone happy.
