Had a bus completely cut me off in traffic on 77 and almost wiped my whole front end off of my car. The bus driver had no regard to safety for others on the road and or the people riding the bus. With me honking the horn to get him to stop he had no intensions of stopping and continued to cross 3 lanes with no blinker. A complete idiot. read more

Our company, TalentBridge, used Rose for our transportation needs during the company's sales conference that we hosted. We had our employees come from all around the country to Charlotte for the conference so reliable transportation was a must. We chose a car service for the sole reason that we needed a car seat for our son when traveling home from the airport. The driver showed up with no carseat although it was clearly on the reservation. We did not have another carseat option available so we requested the charge be discounted. The staff repeatedly told us that the carseat charge was only $15. We explained that if not for the carseat we would have taken at $40 cab or uber. At this point we were already loaded in the vehicle with our bags and just wanted to get home. The supervisor said she would charge us $120 (for a 12 mile ride with no carseat) but would try to discount it more. When I spoke with them the next day they were still refusing to discount further and still arguing that the carseat charge was only $15....Avoid this service as there are plenty of other car services available. read more

Do not use Rose!!! What a horrible, dishonest, uncaring company. We booked them for my daughter's wedding 10 months in advance, paying 20% up front and the remaining balance two weeks before the event. We had confirmed the arrangements several times and the contract was clear as to the date, time and place of pickup. We had about 100 guests staying at a hotel and arranged for the bus to transport the guests to the wedding venue and back because many didn't have cars, and for those who did, we didn't want them to drive because they would be drinking. We received a call from several of our guests about 20 minutes after the bus was scheduled to arrive, informing us that the bus had never shown up. Upon calling Rose, we quickly learned that no one at the company knew what was going on and they could not provide the bus. Our guests were forced to either drive their own cars, or wait for Ubers, with many of them arriving late or missing the wedding ceremony entirely. We were told the owner would call us that evening, but he never did. To their credit, they did send a bus to pick up our guests to return them to the hotel. However, they needed transportation the next morning to pick up their cars that we're still at the wedding venue. I called Rose Monday morning and and only heard back from an employee after I had contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. The employee did tell us they would issue a full credit, but only an 80% credit was issued. Because the initial 20% was paid on a card that had now expired, presumably Rose couldn't credit that account, so we emailed the owner to send us a check. It is now four weeks later and we never received the full refund as promised -- not that the money would have fixed anything! Needless to say, Rose ruined the most important day of my daughter's life. read more

We have traveled to Washington DC on Rose Charter buses for three years now. We bring over 200 eighth grade students each year. The drivers have always been excellent. They are friendly and efficient and do a wonderful job getting us where we need to be and on time. If you need a great driver make sure to ask for Joe! The buses are new and clean. They have charging plugs under each pair of seats and on board wifi. There is plenty of storage above the seats and below the bus for all of your luggage and carry ons. The seats are clean and comfortable. There is a DVD player with screens throughout the bus which really helps on long trips with students. Highly recommend this company. read more

The company sent confirmations for a pickup, but driver was no where to be found. When we called to see where he was they put us on hold and said sorry can't find the driver. I've had only one experience with Rose for a basic "to and from" event, if you will. The service, in it's entirety, was spot on. They arrived on time (or a little beforehand even). We had two different drivers, both of which were very friendly, courteous and easy to talk to. They were very professional and had the attire to match. Professional, courteous, on time, awesome follow up are all things you would expect when using a service like this and all describe my experience with Rose. I had to run out of town and was not able to pick up someone at the airport that was counting on a ride. I have seen many ads for Rose and decided to call them up. I received their pricing and thought it was a bit high. I shopped around for other car services and cabs for rates from CLT airport and found out that they were ALL higher than Rose. Why ride in a Yugo when you can get a Town Car right? I called Rose back and they couldn't be more helpful and professional on the phone. With just a days notice they took down all the information on the flight and gave me an emergency # for their dispatcher in case the flight was delayed and said a driver would be waiting for them at the airport with one of those nifty signs. I received an e-mail confirmation, a follow up call to confirm the pickup and a follow up e-mail that the transaction was complete. Sometimes with cabs and other services you feel a bit uneasy that the pickup isn't going to happen or something is going to go wrong. Not with these guys. BTW they're open 24 hours which is comforting in case you need a pickup at 3am..... Great service makes me happy. Rose is highly recommended in my book!!! read more

I set-up a trip with friends to go to bourbon country in Kentucky, and the 11 of us utilized Rose Transportation. Our driver Pete was always on-time and very professional and courteous. He insured we had everything we needed (coolers, ice, etc.), which only added to the great time we had visiting the distilleries. When we had a personal health issue to come up on the ride home, he was quick to help as needed, even though it took us slightly off course. I rented Roses bus for my wedding to transport guests from the hotel to the church. They were kind, professional, and I recommend them for your event. I was busy that day so didn't have time to call to confirm, or make sure the bus was on time or stopping at all hotels, however they took it into their own hands and everything went off without a hitch! My guests were very happy. I am grateful to them for their professional service. Something I can not say about the company I used for my own limo. Do not go with Silver Fox... stay with Roses. We took the coach bus to Harrahs in Cherokee, and it was a very uncomfortable ride. The driver kept turning the air conditioning on and off, and this made the temperature in the bus very unpleasant. There was a point where it became so hot, that it was borderline torturous. The seats were very close together, and the reclining mechanism was broken on mine, so it kept moving into a reclined position the entire trip making the people I was with behind me uncomfortable. The bathroom didn't have a means to sanitize or wash your hands either. The driver was a nice man, but clearly made some passengers nervous weaving in and out of traffic, myself included. This was a very bad experience to say the least, and I will not be using this as a means for travel again. read more

I own a small transportation company and frequently use Rose for our busy season and larger groups. Their private chauffeurs have always been great, with clean and well-maintained vehicles. Their mini buses and coach buses are always early and at the right location. I have used them for over 10 years, for at least 500 individual reservations, and have had very few issues. Things happen in the transportation business (accidents, flat tires, traffic, weather problems, human error, etc.) and Rose has always done their best to mitigate these possibilities and anticipate the unexpected. That is not something that can be said of all transportation companies. I will continue to put my trust in Rose in the future. Rose Chauffeured Transportation provided busses for a recent P.E.O. convention I attended in Charlotte, North Carolina. They ran shuttles from the convention center to nearby hotels, as well as tour busses for optional, organized sightseeing. I used the bus once for the hotel shuttle (our lodging was close enough to walk easily) and once for a tour of the city of Charlotte. In both instances, I was impressed by the promptness of the busses, and the nicely appointed interiors. Seats were comfortable and the windows were clean. Our drivers were courteous, helpful, and competent in maneuvering through downtown (uptown?) Charlotte traffic. The first few days of our stay were quite warm so I appreciated the air-conditioning on board the bus. With over 2000 women (and some husbands) present for this convention, I was pretty impressed with how smoothly the bus services ran before and after all events, as well as throughout the day. read more

Was out during lunch today and was almost hit by one of these limos over by Carowinds; not once, but twice! No turn signals, pulled up next to me at a stop sign even though there is only one lane there, then cut me off by pulling across three lanes to make a turn. Speed over safety. read more

I had a 3:45pm pick up from Lenoir NC for a flight out of Charlotte at 6:25pm. At 3:20pm I got a voicemail saying there was "an issue" and that the driver was in an accident. I called at 3:45pm and was told a driver would be to me in 30 minutes. When I became upset the dispatcher put me on hold for over 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and another dispatcher told me the driver had a flat tire but a car was on the way to me for a 4:30 pickup. When I asked to speak to the owner I was placed on hold for another 15 minutes then told a car would be to me at 4:45pm. Since there are no other taxi services in Lenoir I had no choice but to wait. Net net an actual driver didn't pick me up until almost 5:10pm and I missed my flight. I was then told the original driver did not show up for work. My advice: take another Charlotte car service. There are many! The owner apologized and of course said he would credit me the fare after I insisted he did but almost 1 1/2 hours late and consistent miscommunication is just unacceptable. read more
