After an hour of settling in, I found several ants in the bathroom and bar area.
I spoke to the front desk host to report this matter immediately, Koda who kindly told me to reach out via email to bring this issue here and to take photos for proof. (No one responded to this matter)
He mention he's unable to switch us to another room due to it being sold out. He then said I can speak to the manager the following morning to deal with the issue. In the mean time he handed over the bug spray under their counter (as if this happens multiple times).
We were only staying for one night, and it's unfortunate that we felt uncomfortable because the location was great and I was looking forward to staying here.
After coming back to the hotel room, we came back home with an infestation of ants everywhere. We didn't stay long because I had sprayed the whole room and now the whole room is leaking and fuming bug spray.
I finally spoke to Melina, the manager who didn't really assist with the issue. She actually offered complimentary breakfast as a way to "resolve" this matter. She had no concern or sympathy and seemed pretty used this complaint. She even said "did you open the garden window, because it's prolly from that". I said, "actually window was still closed and the ants are coming from within the hotel".
Writing this review for the next guest that stays at room 002 because this hotel still has denied my refund and has yet to resolve this issue.
