I ordered a pizza online and picked it up a little after 4:30 and drove home. We sat down and began to eat the pizza and discovered it was worst than any frozen pizza imaginable. I contacted the manager Tony at Rosatis to mention my family's displeasure and he couldn't care less. I told him I have ordered from his establishment for over two years and have never had an issue. Well, not until yesterday. His lack of customer skills are nothing short of barbaric. He never acknowledged or apologized for this disgusting pie his restaurant sold. I along with my family and several friends will not be supporting this business any longer. I told him I wasn't expecting a free pizza, but I thought he would be interested in hearing about a poor experience. It will definitely be an expensive lesson on his part going forward. My pizza was cooked to a crispy yet not burnt way. The sauce was good. No heartburn. Sausage was in small bite size pieces distributed equally. I must say that they made an excellent pizza that night. Sometimes they forget the red pepper flakes and grated cheese. We ask every time but it's about 1 out of every 5-6 pizzas they remember the condiments. We order from here quite often and have never had an issue. We love the food and the delivery is always super fast. Last night we ordered delivery, it was delivered 40 minutes before it was scheduled which was great. However, when we brought the bag of food inside, it looked like it has been thrown and dumped over. The pasta all slid out of the container and all over the inside of the bag . We also realized that the online ordering system did not place our order for 3 kids pasta meals we had ordered. Granted the food was still edible, just very messy and missing the top layer of pasta , my husband called to order the kids meals (which we still paid full price for) and mention the issue with our order and barely got an apology. We are not the type to complain ever regardless of how bad things are and definitely weren't looking for money back or free food but an acknowledgement would have been nice. Maybe just a thought to be more careful for next time when packaging up or delivering the food, especially pasta as the tin foil containers with the cardboard lid aren't very sturdy. read more

This is only the second Rosati's I have actually eaten at. Usually get deliveries. When I walked in I was surprised. Open, spacious and CLEAN. They serve tap beers and have some gaming machines off in a side room. Probably a good thing for this area because there is not much around the succeeds. Soda machine station was clean and well stocked. Dinning room was clean. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Ordering. Did not look at the menu much because I knew what I wanted. The 3 meat slice of pizza. There was a little confusion with who was going to take my order and who was going to be able to ring it up. All while one was taking a phone order while the other was yelling back to the kitchen asking "how much longer for more specials?" Not a big deal as it only slightly delayed my ordering process. Will say that the gentleman that was helping at the counter seemed visibly stressed. Not a smile or a thank you. More of I am busy so hurry up and make it easy. Pizza was right on track with other Rosati's I have eaten with. Bacon was a tad bit burned but not that big a deal. When you are considering single slice ordering, you are not always getting fresh out of the oven. As far as eating experience the only thing I found odd was that only had 1 bottle of Tobasco and 1 bottle of Cholula to be accessible to the dining in eaters. Put a couple more bottles out as hot sauces are all the rage. Bottom line, exactly what I expected for food quality. Exceeded my expectations on dining room. Only reason the loss of a star was the sour male employee who was the direct face of the store by being on register. Note, your customers deal with crunch-time pressure from 8-12 and from 1-5. They put the self proclaimed Wing Zeria up the road to shame with their wings. Plenty of sauce on the wings and in the container, that how its done. I show up, there's a large group of people inside with no organization where to go if you were just picking up/ordering or dining in. Then after I check in I waited an extra 20 minutes watching everyone who checked in after me get there pizza. I DIDN'T EVEN ORDER PIZZA. So after I went back and asked them if they forgot about me, it was the literally the box that's been sitting there under the heat lamp before I even got there. By the time I got it home, the fries were steamed. My dessert was warm and melted since was sitting with other hot food. This is the second time I've come here and something like this happened. I used to order from Rosatis Lakemoor for years. And although the food was great, the service was always lacking and sometimes rude. They often screwed up orders and when making complaint would start an argument about how the order was wrong because of us. As if we ordered our food wrong. We probably spent 60-80 bucks a week. Early 2016 we had 5 wrong orders (delivery) within a very short space of time. My girlfriend has diverticulitis. If they get an order wrong it could mean her ending up in the hospital and costing us 8000.00. So getting orders right isn't just good customer service, peoples lives are counting on them getting it right. Each and every time I complained about the order being wrong they would get defensive and start an argument. For instance, when they delivered us rare burgers when we ordered well done, they demanded pictures and proof. Upon submitting them, they ignored the obvious bright red color of the entire center of the burger and blamed us for ordering it wrong. Happened twice. Once we ordered a pan pizza and received a Chicago style pizza instead. Upon calling and complaining to Marci the manager, she informed us we ordered it wrong, was rude, and offered no compensation for screwing up our order. Yes, we were to blame for the incompetence of Rosati's employee's! It was our fault! Rosati's Lakemoor, where the customer is always WRONG! Then that fateful night. I called Rosati's Lakemoor and ordered a large pan pizza. Marci the manager was our "customer service rep." I informed her before ordering that our last 5 orders were wrong and asked politely that this order not get screwed up. She asked how the other orders were screwed up. I informed her about the rare burgers we got instead of the well done burgers we ordered. I then told her the last time we had ordered a pan pizza, we ordered it with 1/2 sausage because my girlfriend has diverticulitis. She cannot eat seeds of any kind. They delivered a pizza with full sausage, ensuring her meal was ruined and she went to bed hungry that Monday night. She couldn't eat it. (Sausage has Fennel seeds in it) So then Marci, Rosati's manager got defiant with me, got nasty, and with an offensive tone hammered back at me and barked out this; "If we keep getting your orders wrong, then why in the world are you calling us now to order from?" "Why would you call us at all?" I thought about her question and decided she was right. Here Marci is, the manager of Rosati's, getting nasty with me on the phone, all because I told her the truth and demanded they get my order right. So I agreed with Marci and then told her she was right, it was foolishness to count on Rosati's Lakemoor of correctly making my order. They were rude, inept, unhelpful, intimidating and their phone service was unbelievably nasty. When I told Marci I was going to inform the owners of her rudeness she asked me not to "because she was ill with cancer." I did so anyway, and talked with the owners son. And realized after talking with him why the restaurant has such rude staff. They take after the owners. I have not ordered there since. I told Marci I would never ever call again or visit their restaurant nor spend another penny on their establishment. I told her I agreed with her assessment and couldn't give one good reason why I was ordering again. I suggest everyone else do the same! The dough was cooked nicely just the way I like my crust and the sauce had a nice flavor I was sure it was just the cheese that was salty but still good. I'm not a big fan of peperoni like my kids but I tasted one slice and it was pretty good. thumbs up! Today, I have to take away my previous 5 star review. They're cutting corners all of a sudden. Ordered a fish dinner and I would've rather gone to McDonalds. Defrost it before you serve it. Also the 4 piece fish dinner was only a 3 piece. They did their best to "make it right" by delivering us a different menu item for free.
