I ordered this pizza because it was the closest to my spot on beach. However, parking is so bad because it's on a busy street. I ordered via the website. I understand the pizza is fresh but it's pretty expensive for a 10 in pizza. $20 is what I would pay at a high end sit down, not a small beach pizza shop. It wasn't the greatest pizza and I think it wasn't worth the price. Plus when you order through the website for pickup they automatically put 20 percent tip charge. I think that it is wild . But I guess it's my fault for not reading the fine print. My friends and I were really hungry for pizza but I guess because it's next to the beach, you get what you pay for. Said it was better than his favorite pizza place at home. I got the gluten free margarita pizza. I liked that the basil was crispy. The crust however, was too crispy and a bit burnt around the edges. I give the place 3 stars, hubby gives it 5 so we'll settle on a 4. I think if my crust hadn't been burnt I would be closer to a 5. I've been coming to Mission Beach for many years now, and I always enjoy a takeout pizza at some point during my stay. Rosaria isn't my usual spot, but I decided to pay them a visit as they were within walking distance of my my rental. Likewise, I had been here a couple years ago, and really enjoyed their pizza that time. I ordered an 18" pepperoni and side Caesar salad on 9/6/20. The restaurant was busy, and the wait was about 45 min. The pickup was fairly uneventful, but I did notice an employee making a salad with his bare hands - NOT good, especially during a pandemic! I considered canceling my Caesar salad, but decided to keep it, as I hadn't seen MINE being made that way. The employees were friendly, upbeat, and very accommodating with plates, forks, napkins, crushed red peppers, and Parmesan cheese! Unfortunately, that's where the good ended, and the bad started. First, the salad - it was covered in mozzarella cheese! Caesar salad is supposed to have Parmesan cheese! It was not good at all! Second, the pizza - it was almost completely devoid of sauce! All I could taste was crust, cheese, and the pepperoni! It was so bland and tasteless, that Little Caesars would have been better! I don't think I'll be back to Rosaria - they obviously have an issue with consistency, as well as with safe food-handling practices. So disappointed! read more

Service and food was great, despite our many loud and wild children plus dog on a spur of the moment trip from Belmont Park. The workers were so kind and patient as we decided on what to choose, with one vegan and some picky eaters. We decided on spaghetti with squash, no meat, three slice pizza and drink combos, and one Maui Wowi (don't judge)! They even allowed our little doggie inside to sit at a booth. So when you go to a beach town you are pretty much guaranteed a pizza night, at least my family. This spot is small but mighty. While staying in the town, They don't deliver so plan to walk and pickup but it is worth it. We ordered for a family of 6 and had leftovers. The pizza is more like a New York style, big slices and thin crust but still has the hand tossed look and bite. Overall a really good slice and and pie. Wouldn't recommend for those who like the thin crust NY style pizzas though. The crust was fluffy, soft on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The service was also efficient and friendly. They already tucked in cheese and pepper packets in the pizza box before I even asked. They also asked if I needed napkins and paper plates which was a plus since we were staying at a rental and made for easy cleanup. Seems more of a takeout pizza place - the inside only had a few tables. Pizza was still warm and crispy when we enjoyed it at home. Overall, highly recommended!
