Here's the deal: when you order delivery make sure you ask for the total and let them know how you will pay or they will hang up with you before you get answers and have to end up paying cash when they deliver. Ordered an antipasto salad: pretty yummy. They don't mix it for you so it's just a bed of lettuce with some meat rolled up on top/ tomato/ onion/ black olive/ cheese. Dressing on the side which is perfect. All good! Buffalo wings are not buffalo. They have an Asian vibe to them, like wings you would get at a Japanese/ Chinese restaurant. They were spicy but not buffalo. Not too bad, but not the best. Pizza: ordered a deluxe, got an undercooked pizza. The veggies weren't cooked and the dough was super soft. Could have done without. Maybe next time just a plain ol cheese pizza could do us alright if the dough is cooked. Overall we got a lot of food for a semi-reasonable price and delivery was 40 minutes as they said even though they rave about quick delivery (we are a mile up the street). read more

Raining outside and decided to order delivery pizza. We opted for Rosaria pizza. Called in an 18 inch deluxe pizza, wings and salads. The pizza was huge but vegetables were raw and crust watery. The wings were some sort of Asian fusion but lacked crispiness, and the salad was huge and perhaps the star of the show. The delivery guy was nice but lacked the ability to speak clear English. We spent 50.00 which included tip, bit over priced if you ask me. Not a great experience and will more than likely opt for Pizza Hut in the future. read more

I went back and forth on what rating to give this place and I think I've decided on 3.5 stars, though that isn't an option unfortunately! My boyfriend and I were wanting pizza and found Rosaria Pizza on Yelp with great reviews. We decided to give it a try since we were in the area anyway. We did plan on eating there, but as the reviews state, this is a VERY hole in the wall joint. It literally only has 4 tables and it's so small that it is really warm inside because of the ovens in the back. We obviously decided against eating in and ordered our pizza to go. The nice man working behind the counter said it would be about 20 minutes so we went over to CVS to look around while we waited. We came back about 15 minutes later and it was ready to go! We ordered a large pizza so we would have left overs for lunch the next day and left overs we had! The slices were huge and a large is definitely large! It was only $9.00 too which is really cheap for pizza in my opinion. I thought the pizza was quite tasty. We went with pepperoni and green bell pepper. In order of taste, I liked the crust, bell peppers (they were cooked perfectly for a pizza), sauce and cheese. The crust is not New York style flat, but it isn't hand tossed either, it's between the two and it was very soft. The cheese though, was a bit rubbery feeling for my taste. My boyfriend was the opposite though. He really liked the sauce, toppings, cheese and then crust. Never would have stopped here without the positive reviews from Yelp. Came into this Pizza place looking for a sandwich. The women working the restaurant ( actually, it's more like 4 tables and an ordering counter) was friendly and helpful. It's basically a hot Italian sub. When you order a sub or sandwich from these type of hole in the wall pizza places you know you're basically getting a lot of pizza toppings between bread. That's not any different here. When she handed over this monster I was stunned by its size. There is no way someone could eat this in one sitting. And get this, it was only 6.95! The sub tasted good. There was a nice amount of meat and the bread was great. Given the price, and the fact this is two meals for about 7 bucks, this is a good find. I'd love to try the meatball sub. One unique thing about the sub was the included dressing. It's like a sweet / hot Italian dressing. it's loaded with red pepper flakes. Great for dunking smaller pieces of sub into. This place definitely makes good pizza! It is run by Vietnamese employees but they sure do know how to make good American pizza. I ordered the Deluxe which was really delicious. They don't put as much cheese on their pizzas as other places do but I prefer it because it makes it a lot less greasy. The service is good and the owners are friendly. They've been in this location for three years and have been in Poway since 1982! They've been doing things right or they wouldn't have stayed in business for that long. The crust has a good consistency and has a soft and medium thickness. Not thin by any means, so if you're looking for a Brooklyn type thin crust then this is not your place. The pizza has plenty of cheese and sauce, with plenty of toppings. They have really good deals on their pizzas and other specials. Dinner specials are good like a 12" cheese pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, garlic bread, 2 salads and 2 drinks for $20.95. Sub sandwiches are really good. Oven baked 16" sandwiches yum. The antipasto salad is good, but the dressing is a little bit spicy hot with the red peppers. Food here is so well-priced! It's not fancy, but the spaghetti with meat sauce was surprisingly good and the philly cheesesteak was not only good, but huge. As an SD native, my boyfriend grew up with this place as his family's go-to for pizza. It's not even in their neighborhood but they found it worth the drive. So we finally got to check it out and I saw for myself what the hype was about. Actually, he hadn't had it in a while, so he was hoping it was as good as he remembered. It was! He's a nice guy, and made us glad we were supporting a local small business. They've been around for a while, and it's clear by their food why! We ordered a half pepperoni and half olive medium pie, and a "large" garlic bread. It was way more than enough. The pizza was delicious. Not too doughy in the middle, or too much or little of anything, and cooked perfectly around so the crust had a nice crunch to it. The garlic bread was made on a fat loaf, seriously a whole loaf, of French bread, which tasted fine, but probably would have been better suited for a pasta main dish. Today is my birthday. I was trying to decide between Filipi's Pizza or trying Rosaria's for the first time. It will be my last. The order was placed, and then got contacted 1 of the order items were not available, a salad. So one would think they would make sure the rest of the order was perfect: WRONG! The pizza was not to the order, and the only resolution was crediting a missed item. I'll stick to Filipi's going forward because if a company cannot make sure the rest of the order is good after now missing 2 items, it's not worth ordering from here again. read more

This is our favorite place to get a pizza.. Service is friendly and their pizzas are deliciously done to perfection. They happily accommodate special requests like my husband liking extra cheese on half and my preference of light cheese and extra green onions. I went to this place when I was younger and so I'm not sure when/if they changed ownership but I remember the pizza being much better. PROs: super cheap, I mean 9.50 for a large two topping pizza that's not a franchise is a great deal! Lots of toppings. I asked for mushrooms and anchovies and there was a lot of each. Which is rare because even papa johns only puts like one little sliver of anchovies on each piece. CONs: the pizza just tasted overall really bland. The cheese wasn't gooey or hot so maybe it was a little undercooked. The sauce doesn't have very much taste but it's average for the price. Overall- if I'm in that part of town again I might get it and just not expect much. Otherwise I'll probably stick to papa johns or dominoes. read more

Came in today to grab a slice during lunch. The $1.99 price point for a slice of cheese was the main selling point. Honestly, it was a waste of $2. The dough was heavy, way too heavy, more akin to deep dish than a regular crust. The marinara sauce had no flavor at all. It tasted like I was eating melted cheese on top of straight up tomato paste. Quality of the pizza was on par with the frozen pies you'd find at the grocery store, possibly worse. Used to love the pizza here growing up. What a shame. I won't be back. read more

Got the 18 inch Xtra Large pizza with 2 toppings. I tend to not get any meats at pizza places so I got artichoke and mushroom. The toppings made the pizza pretty good. However, the cheese was too chewy for my taste. The delivery guy didn't give us any peppers or cheese. Delivery time took 40 minutes as well. I will still stand by this place though.
