super wide range of pastries to choose from. we came for breakfast around 10 and it was already very busy. but the staff was efficient and mostly helpful. the pistachio cream puff was amazing. tiramisu was fine but not amazing. generally a good stop if a little stressful

Got my two morning pastries here and enjoyed them both. The flaky one on the left had minimal cream, but the zabaione cream on the right was quite copious.

Delicious sandwich, half avocado, fresh tomato, no crust delicious

I don't usually ask for suggestions, but with so many choices exploring would've taken a year. So I asked the concierge to recommend a local quick snack location. It was Amazing. The service was top-notch. The food was excellent. The ambience was inviting and totally natural. People going to work executives, shop owners, and a spec of tourist. Sandwiches are sold by the half so you can enjoy and mix and match. The pasta is fresh delicious and perfect little energy boost for walking around the city and climbing the small bridges. My recommendation is to grab your meal at the counter, sit down, enjoy but relax. The locals pick up after themselves, so did we. Then afterwards stroll over to the counter get yourself your favorite coffee, drink, and pick out one of the delectable finger cookies or pastries, and stand up and enjoy like the locals do. If I could give this place six stars I would. Going back over the next several days while here in Venice.

Cute sitdown cafe and bakery, though service was terrible. Tried a few cakes and espresso, as well as a fruit tart, which was the best of everything we tried. Also bought some biscotti to go.

The most delicious pastries in Venice! They make fresh pastry everyday, ranging from croissants to Italian treats. Also serve delicious coffee & fresh squeezed orange juice. Must try!

Great spot in the heart of Venice. Have a half sandwich and a cold drink inside or at the bar height tables in the sidewalk. Mix of locals and tourists. I had a half tuna sandwich and a coca zero. All for about 5 euro. And a nice seat outside enjoying the people passing by. Bathroom is clean. Service is good.

These desserts were so yummy!!! Love the lemon custard in the fruit tart! Very friendly staff as well and it's a great location!

This was a wonderful find while walking the streets of Venice. It was a cool December afternoon and we were looking for a place to rest from shopping and grab some hot tea. This was it! The ordering area is fast paced and many customers drink their coffee at the bar. We selected to sit and watch the people traffic. It does appear to be a stop for local shop owners or workers for a break. We also selected a few pastries and enjoyed them all. There were also selections of sandwiches as well. For those from the States that order hot chocolate, the consistency is that of warmed chocolate pudding. Very thick but tasty. We enjoyed our rest and the warm drinks and treats. Make sure if you are in the area to stop by and give them a try. Take care.

I have a confession. I made a total faux pas today and accidentally perpetuated the stereotype of a tacky American tourist. My sister brought me to Rosa Salva to get some tiramisu. At first I thought it was just a pastry shop because everything looked so beautifully prepared. Then I noticed they also had sandwiches and other savoy foods as well. As my sister was paying, I saw there were some small bowls sitting out on the counter. Three of the bowls contained dips, and there were two bowls of bread and two of chips. No sign, no price, nothing. Coming from America, the land of free samples, I instantly just figured these were set out for people to try. I had already spread my second dip "sample" when an employee behind the counter says to me: "Miss, you cannot do that. The food is not free." I froze. OOPS!!! I had no idea what to do. I spied a garbage can and threw out the piece of bread in my hand, then called out "Sorry!" and made a hasty retreat from the shop. Luckily we'd already asked for the tiramisu to takeaway. Now as for the tiramisu, it was okay but not my favorite. Again, maybe I'm just an uncultured American who can't appreciate an authentic Italian version of tiramisu, but honestly it was kind of bland and didn't really have any distinctive flavor of coffee or chocolate. I'm also more used to the variation of tiramisu where you can taste the liquor, which this one didn't have. In the end, faux pas or not, I wouldn't return here for the tiramisu. Try one of the other tasty-looking options instead.

The quality of their pastries and coffee selection is out of this world. The location is in the central San Marcos area, which is perfect. A good way to start the day off with a fresh cup of coffee and any pastry of your choice. Glad I went as early as 9am. It's definitely upscale and really cool clear chairs. Lots of available seats and long tables to find. They maintain this space well. The staff were quick and efficient. What more can you ask for in a bakery? Highly recommend!

Omg. Heaven on earth and a kind tip from a local.

Wow. Wonderful pastry and coffee and well worth a trip down the walkways of Venice. Full of locals grabbing a bite
