What a delightful a place. We got a couple quiches, some spritzes, and a croissant. Everything was perfect. For a relatively expensive part of Italy, their Aperol and Campari spritzes are a great deal at just €3.50. And the quiches? Oh my. Give the tuna a try. Completely unexpectedly great. It was nice eating and drinking at the outside bar top while people watching. Definitely recommend!

We've been in Venice before and already loved this Pasticceria. Came back now a few years later to find out that they are still on top of their game. And this time we had more time to try out more of their products. And they really know what they do here, pretty much everything we bought was extremely tasty. One could think the location along one of the main tourist drags might be suspicious. But it's not. It's probably the best bakery in town. We had some cream-filled pastries for breakfast, all nice and freshly baked. The cookies they sell are also highly recommended (try some with pistachio). Same goes for the pine-nut cake. Order an Espresso with. Small....but (typical Italian) powerful. A small shot will suffice. The staff here is always busy, since it's a popular place among tourists as well as locals. But even then they are always friendly and helpful. And the prices are not higher than at other places. But their quality IS! Love it - will come back again.

Items Selected: Sant Udalbo - Hazelnuts, Almonds, Ginger, Apple, Marzipan Pan Dei Vini - Almonds, Figs, Powdered Sugar Bombolini Crema Almond Pine Nut Tart Dark Chocolate and Butter Pastry Almond Spongecake, Apricot Marmalade, Pistachio Glaze and Candied Fruits Opting to drive to Venice on Day Two, €28 parking a bit steep, yet not substantially different when divided by four from the cost of a day of parking in Mestre and trains both ways, it was a quick walk that brought the group to Pasticceria Dal Mas on Rio Tera Lista di Spagna, a 9h00 opening finding the place busy with locals plus a handful of tourists, the slightly higher-than-average prices well justified by beautiful Cookies, Cakes and Confections including some not otherwise seen during the subsequent six days in Italy. Larger in floorplan than the likes of Rizzardini or Tonolo, options available in the cases easily doubling the variety of both, it was to English-friendly clerks that questions regarding items were directed, each of them answered patiently with more than a dozen items catching my fancy, an eventual order of six selected at a cost of €22,50 that at first seemed excessive but eventually proved to be worth every cent and calorie. Specializing in small Cakes and traditional Tarts comprised of ancient Grains, Nuts and Fruit that make each complex and heterogeneous from bite to bite, first tastes of a simpler Bombolini showed soft bread similar to Brioche surrounding a smooth center of creamy Custard, the black-and-bronze braid tasted next not-so-different from a Pain Au Chocolate in terms of the flavor or lamination, though the choice to directly infuse half of the batter with Cocoa was an inspired one that still saw the flavor balanced as opposed to overly sweet. Pleasantly surprised by the Almond and Pine Nut Tart that was dry and crumbly like Biscotti, but at the same time delicious and well composed, later tastes offered a trio that would not be trumped by any Pasticceria from Venice to Modena, Parma and Milan, the powdered Pan Dei Vini undoubtedly sweet due to the Figs and Confectioner's Sugar, as too was the Almond Spongecake with Fruit and Pistachio Glaze while the Sant Udalbo will vie for 2016's "Best Sweets" list with a combination of Hazelnuts, Almonds, Ginger, Apple, and a stretchy layer of Marzipan that upped the impact of every other ingredient by way of both texture and taste.

Mama mia! This place is great. Try the pistachio cannoli! I also had a shot of espresso with Sambuca and lemon.

My favorite bakery in Venice!!! We stayed at Hotel Principe, right next door, so this was our go-to spot for cappuccino and pastries for breakfast. Absolutely divine!!

This place was in the heart of a very happening location with a lot of restaurants and stores. Also their hot chocolate was so good. It was too sweet but very rich. It was €3..550 but I would recommend it. I also got their venetian style cannoli which was so good. Not too sweet again but very flavorful. The whip cream inside was delicious and the outer wrap was so crunchy. It was a good mixture. I would go here again if we are in the area again.

Fast in and out. Sweet croissant with Cuppacino ready to head out to Milan next. One thing interesting people all eat at the counter where they serve so there is no proper Q so u got to get the attention or hard to get serve and best is you pay after u eat.

lovely chocolates ready to be selected

Stopped in for some pre-packaged locally made sweets to take home. All items were wrapped up for me and were devoured when they made their way back to New York. Great service and an amazing selection of cookies and chocolates that are beautifully packaged as well as many loose chocolates that can be chosen and made into your own gift creation. Also enjoyed the hot chocolate. I spent about $30 and had lovely "souvenirs" for the office.

Decent little spot to stop in and grab a treat. Overall it was a pretty typical joint but nothing to complain about so will give 5 stars.

Great Cannoli's. Everything looked great but each time we passed by, we had to have the Cannoli's. Go next store where there is no crowd.
