I called this UPS store as it was the closest to him and asked if I could use their address to have the package delivered to them and have my friend pick it up. The employees I spoke to were very kind and helpful and assured me I could. They accepted my package upon delivery and my friend was able to pick up the package using his ID and simply paid a $5 pickup fee. Zero issues. Super easy. Highly recommend this location! They have NO customer service, one of the staff members was attempting to help an elderly woman self print a shipping label, but the staff member was across the room and instead of going over to help the woman, she stood there yelling instructions at her, hit next, hit send and then got irritated when the customer asked her to repeat herself. They are all rude and totally ignorant and have the nerve to be arrogant with their ignorance. I was forced to pay for two polymailers to return items, when I showed them the email that clearly said "No Box, No Label needed - FedEx will package and ship for you". I showed them the email and was told "Yeah, we'll package it, but you gotta pay for the package" . Look people, save your sanity and your sanctification. Just go to another location. The UPS store is a minority-owned small business, operated by husband-and-wife team Lumi and Temi. CUSTOMER SERVICE Quick and cordial! SERVICES Printing (posters, banners, brochures), shipping (overnight, next day, 2nd day, UPS ground), shredding ($1.45 per lb.) and mailbox rental. UPS Store offers a notary service, copying, faxing and scanning. "House Accounts" allow small businesses to "receive monthly or weekly billing statements for easier expense tracking." Personally, the ability to return my Amazon purchases is my favorite benefit! MAILBOX RENTAL A mailbox includes receipt notification and package acceptance. A real street address is advertised but it's pretty obvious that it's either a po box or an apartment #. The current, advertised price for a small (3 x 5.5) box is $90 for 6 months, $156 annually. A medium mailbox (business only) costs $126 for 6 months, $216 per year. There's a $25 set up fee. Mailbox vs. PO Box Post Office boxes are slightly bigger than UPS store mailboxes but they also cost more. Besides, if your mail is too big to fit in your box, the staff will hold it for you! Mailbox Access If you require 24 hour access to your box, a PO box might be preferable. But while some US post offices are accessible (Candler Road), others lock the lobby and close early (Lakewood - Jonesboro). UPS Store's mailbox access is the same as the store hours, thankfully it's open on weekends! NEEDS IMPROVEMENT Minus one star after nearly being charged more than the advertised price for a mailbox. I was told there was a $25 key fee but the register said $0. Thankfully, that was resolved but my 1 month free offer wasn't honored because "the system didn't allow it...." Still, the yearly price for a mailbox rental is cheaper than a Post Office box. And even though it took 3 calls to speak to an employee, that's still better than the Post Office (800 #) phone tree. SUM I recommend this UPS store due to good customer service, short wait time & competitive prices. And local, black-owned businesses need our support. I'll see you there!
