The patty is grilled well (albeit thin), the cheese is melted, the lettuce and tomato are very fresh, and the mayo brings everything together. The fries were good, with a crispy outside and a soft inside. They do look pale, but don't let that fool you. The prices are affordable ($3 - $12), although it does add up since it's tempting to just keep ordering more "little" things. They do have a parking lot on the side of the building and plenty of seating inside. It gives retro vibes, so you definitely travel back in time a couple decades when you walk in. Pretty smart for the owners. So I'll eaten here quite a few times and their selections have the basics and a few different specials that usually is offered on a rotation of availability. Small dining area with a couple of tables. Primarily a take out establishment. The kitchen area is actually a larger floor space than the dining area so that means they prep and cook all day. Pretty busy the last few times I've stop by to pick up lunch on the road. That is a very good spot for a quick lunch and the selections are generally very satisfying. Definitely 1 of the better Dominican cafeterias around the neighborhood with a really good butcher shop next door and very convenient parking makes this an easy choice to make a break to Elwood Avenue so close to the the 95 exit. I recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're into the Dominican style food.
