Hands down Rick Roper Plumbing offers outstanding customer plumbing service. They are fair and honest and will not overcharge you. My husband and I were very fortunate to have them fix our bathroom toilet and we recommend them highly. It took about a day to hear back from them but we we're in a hurry either. They are probably very busy and rightfully so. They have a solid track record. read more

Before my dear Mom passed away she told me about a plumber who was so kind, friendly and honest. I've used him ever since for big and small repairs. Him and his sons are the only ones I will call. His prices are amazing. Thank you to you and your sons for all you've done for me. My Mom says HI. read more

Rick came recommended to me by my agent when I bought my home a year ago. I needed a few things fixed/updated as a result of the home inspection. Rick was easy to get a hold of, he came out out soon after I initially contacted him to review the work I needed done, and he provided an estimate. He was able to perform the work quickly and at a reasonable price! I have hired him several more times since I initially contacted him and I highly recommend him. read more

Rick Roper plumbing always does a great job. This time it was replacing badly corroded faucets, but they are also great for unblocking clogged drains. read more

We called the office on a Monday morning as we had a leak under our sink. Got a call back very quickly and the guys came out that same day, arriving even earlier than they had promised. They had the parts they needed on their truck and fixed our problem quickly and efficiently. The two young men that came out were professional and courteous. Very reasonable cost as well. I would highly recommend this business and will be using them for all future plumbing issues. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Rick Roper! We are doing a full scale remodel and needed 4 faucets installed and 4 sinks connected. Rick was able to come do the job for us. He was on time and arrived with two helpers (I believe they are his sons). They were all very professional and thorough. They got the job done (and done right!) in just a couple of hours and for a very fair price! Rick Roper came highly recommended and he definitely lived up to his reputation. We came to him after having a bad experience with our previous plumbers (different company) and we will definitely be calling Rick Roper Plumbing the next time we need anything! read more

Rick is reliable, honest and competitively priced. Our favorite plumber in San Diego!

Rick Roper is efficient, really knows what he is doing; and at a fraction of the competitor's cost.

I had a very specific and unique vision for my kitchen. Rick was even able to help me when he came over to do a walkthrough with me. They finished the job at a very reasonable rate and my vision came out better than expected. They worked quickly and it all came together incredibly clean. I call the plumbing under my sink a "plumbing masterpiece" whenever I show my friends. I would highly recommend them to whoever is in need of installation or repairs (as I needed both). read more

Rick replaced two bathroom faucets and snaked a drain this time around. He shows up when he says he will and gets the job done.

Rick Roper plumbing was recommended to me by two friends. And I'm sure glad I listened. I had gotten a quote for a replacement water from one of the big local companies that advertises on T.V. for both a traditional and a tankless water heater. I was very interested in changing to tankless but the price was absolutely outrageous from the big co. Rick Roper came and explained the pros and cons and what he recommended for brand. He ended up doing the tankless install with a higher capacity top quality model for 44% less than their price. The work was done professionally and cleanly and the communication was great. Rick gave me a "Not to exceed" quote. I was very pleasantly surprised that the final bill came in ~15% lower than his "Not to exceed" quote - very nice. I will definitely be using Rick Roper Plumbing in the future. A real pleasure to work with. read more

Highly recommend this company! They happened to be around the corner finishing another job in my hour of need, and came by instantly. I needed some unexpected prep work done to update our space for a new dishwasher. It wasn't shocking to find out that the previous installation lacked some necessary features. They fixed me up quickly, and charged a very fair price, without a rush fee. I'm having them back for some further updates for additional appliance installs. Rick Roper plumbing will be my go-to plumber until further notice! read more

My landlord and I have been using Rick for years. And, it is so much fun to see how Shaun (his son) has grown into the business. He has the same attitude, customer service mindset and he is getting to know his stuff ... just like his father. I love being able to call upon a family-owned business and support our local entrepreneurs ... and Rick has never let me down ... never. He is ethical and I would not call on anyone else to help me out when I have a plumbing problem. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a plumber who knows his stuff, shows up when they say they will and gets the job done with no muss and no fuss and .... sticks to their quotes. Way to go Rick! read more

He has helped us out many times. we were at a loss at one point with a leak in the 2nd story bathroom wall and the first plummer said we had to open up everything and do major repairs. Rick (& son) looked at it and suggested we try another way with was 1/4 of the costs and solved the problem without any major damage. He is honest, fair and very nice. I highly recommend him. read more

He is the best!! Reliable, capable, skilled professional. His sons are equally great at the job.

I have used Rick Roper plumbing for several small plumbing jobs, and have always been fully satisfied. I called Rick with a plumbing emergency, and even though he was too booked up, he had a very reliable subcontractor plumber who he sent to take care of my emergency who did an excellent job. The leak was detected, the wall cut open, and the broken pipe replaced all in short order (within an hour). I can always count on Rick Roper plumbing for all of my home plumbing jobs, big and small. Thank you for excellent customer service. read more

My experience was not as positive, I'm afraid. I've used them twice. The first time was for a very minor repair and it seemed fine, so I contacted them a few months later for a second issue. That time, they were a no-show for an appointment. After I called them twice to find out where they were (with no one even answering their phones), they finally called me back and admitted they were nowhere near my home. It was over an hour past the appointment time by then. Their suggestion was that they could try to come the next day instead. As I'd already taken an afternoon off work in reliance on the appointment they missed, I ultimately hired a different plumber to fix the repair. I wish Rick Roper had the courtesy and professionalism to at least call me ahead of time when it was obvious they weren't going to make the appointment on time...then I wouldn't have wasted an entire afternoon. Instead, it's not clear that they even realized they'd missed the appointment until I'd left two messages. Didn't inspire a lot of confidence and I was left with the impression that they're pretty unreliable. read more
