If I were you, I would do myself a favor and find a different plumber. The communication here is terrible and you can expect tacking on pricing after the initial quote. Poor response when there were issues happening. I regret using them. I actually just had to have a contractor come and repair the vent on my roof because it was magically bent back after elite rooter came out to try and get a visual down pipes on my roof. read more

What's completely unacceptable is what happened after they damaged my property: no acknowledgement and no response. The technician ignored the issue, and customer service failed to follow up, respond, or take responsibility for the damage they caused. No apology. No accountability. Also when he tries to diagnose the clog, the technician immediately pushed an extreme and unnecessary recommendation: cutting open drywall and installing a two-way fitting, with a $1,600 charge just to "inspect further." This felt like upselling through fear, not professional plumbing. This company demonstrates careless workmanship, aggressive sales tactics, and a refusal to stand behind their mistakes. If you hire Elite Rooter, be prepared for property damage and silence when something goes wrong. I strongly advise choosing another plumbing company. Terrible Experience I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from Elite Rooter. What began as a simple call to clear a backed-up kitchen sink turned into months of stress, property damage, and ongoing issues. After researching local companies, we chose Elite Rooter based on their positive reviews. They arrived and began working on our drain from the exterior of the home. During the service, we were told that our plumbing system was outdated and urgently needed replacement. We were quoted $45,000 for new plumbing lines. While on our property, their crew cut holes into our kitchen and bathroom walls to access pipes. No protective measures were taken to cover our home or belongings, resulting in fine dust and debris covering the entire interior. Shortly after, they attempted to upsell additional services, claiming our water lines were leaking. This raised concerns, so we hired a second professional for an inspection (at our own expense of $300). That inspection revealed that Elite Rooter had damaged our main water line. We never experienced a leak prior to their work. When confronted, Dion, the project manager, admitted fault and agreed to reimburse the inspection cost and replace the water lines at no charge. The replacement work was also poorly handled. Our copper water lines were replaced with plastic lines that were run through the roof to various fixtures. During this process, one worker stood on our brand-new drying machine and dented it. When we raised the issue, responsibility was denied. Throughout the project, there were multiple unprofessional incidents, including a worker bringing his spouse to our property, where she sat and stared at us, creating an uncomfortable environment. Accountability was consistently avoided despite clear errors and damage. The project took approximately four months to be considered "complete," yet significant issues remain: * Unrepaired holes in walls * Uneven concrete work * Plastic water lines running through the ceiling * Poor water pressure * Electrical shocks while showering (still occurring) * Sewer odors throughout the home when flushing a toilet * Continued need to hire outside professionals for inspections and repairs Even now, Elite Rooter continues to return to fix unresolved problems. Overall, the workmanship, professionalism, communication, and accountability were unacceptable. Our property was damaged, our safety compromised, and the experience has been exhausting and costly. Two years ago I hired a large project at my home. The technician they sent had a very bad attitude. He didn't want to do what was stated in the estimate (it seemed like he hadn't even read it) and started arguing with me for no reason. I had to call the office so they could confirm what I was asking for, exactly as it was written in the estimate. Now I had another issue with the drainage and they sent another technician with an extremely bad attitude. The only reason I didn't ask him to leave my house is because I'm a patient person. It's unfortunate that these employees make the company look so bad. I also own a small business and I know how important customer service is. I strongly recommend that you train your staff on respectful treatment, courtesy, and the importance of following the estimate. I'm not sure if it's because I'm Hispanic and don't speak English perfectly, but I felt discriminated against. I hope you improve this aspect. read more

Two polite and professional men came out promptly, thank you, but they did not have the equipment necessary to accurately diagnose or open the blocked sewer line. After an hour or so a polite and professional field supervisor came out with a camera, and after a bit said they found the problem and opening the line would require significant work, about $6500 (really?), but he could get it done today--which was important, very important, but too pricey to hire without a second opinion. New contractor's second opinion was $99, but he brought a camera and showed me where the block was, why it happened, how to prevent it from happening again, and cleaned it all out as part of his $99 call. Polite and professional is great, but competency is greater. Very disappointing. read more

Omar quoted me a price to install 2 new toilets at $275 per toilet and I would purchase the toilets. I had an appointment for a return visit at 8 - 9 this morning to do the actual installation. No Show. I called and apparently my appointment didn't get to the scheduler. They sent another tech, Stan, out sometime after 11 a.m. He was given the task of telling me that my NEW price would be $750 and I was told I had to put a $50 down payment on today's service! Not Stan's fault and he did a good job, was polite, cleaned up after himself and professional. Clearly someone is toking a little too much...hence the memory lapse of the quoted price. Received a quote to replace the fill value on 3 toilets and install a new water supply line. The total cost was $1,949.94. They also provided a quote for me to replace all 3 toilets for $2,500. Why would I need to do that if only the supply line needs to be repaired? Anyways, assuming I go through with the repair, the materials alone should be no more than $45-60. I have no idea why this company is charging so much for this work. Received another quote from another reputable licensed plumber and the cost was $275 to do the work. Much more in-line with what the cost should be. I'm not saying they misdiagnosed my issue. I'm saying that their costs are 7x greater than what it should be. Please read to the end: My toilet was blocked and started leaking from the bottom, I called last night, Nov 13th, and they said they would have someone out to me within the hour. This was about 4.30 pm. No-one arrived. I keep calling and they stated that the technician was doing extra work at the appt before me and would be there soon. I called twice afterwards and kept getting the runaround. I then, trying to understand, made an appt for the morning of Nov 14th. They said someone would be with me bergen 8 and 9 am. I said it's that definite as I will have to take time off work to be here for them. They said yes as it's the first morning appt. So next morning I call at 8:30 am to see if anyone is coming and the lady who answered says that all the technicians were in a meeting and wouldn't be able until 9:30 and 10 am. At that point I told them to stuff their company and told them my time has been wasted as I could've called someone else the previous evening. This is a company that doesn't know what their front end is doing, total chaos and a complete waste of time and the phones who answer the phones are full of b.s. which I'm sure is removed in a more timely manner than my toilet blockage was. They simply don't care it appears. EDIT: I had a call from the supervisor wanting to make things right so they sent a technician out and he arrived at 11:30 on the 14th. He fixed my toilet in a couple of hours and was very professional and friendly. He left my bathroom clean and tidy. His name is Grayson Davis. If you read this review, I originally had a one star rating but since have edited it to a 5 star based on Grayson doing a great job and the company attempting to make up for the previous inconveniences. Upon request, I sent Elite Rooter pictures of my sink and drain plug which had broken. Yet they would not give a price in advance for replacing two double vanity master bathroom "sink push drains." Once the technician, Jerome, arrived, he called his boss for a price. The boss said $475, even though Jerome told him I had already purchased the new drains and needed service only. Eventually he said $400 and the operations officer called me after I said no, and lowered the price to $300. Since trust was now an issue for me, I said no and found another plumber who did the job for $100 in one hour. Recommend you shop around before committing to Elite Rooter. read more
