The food is really good (for bar food IMO), I've ordered a handful of different things here, and I have yet to be disappointed. I really like the layout and the look of the bar (very open, lots of wood), the bartenders have always been friendly and chatty, and their jukebox has a fairly updated selection. Now, that being said, I have never seen more than 10 people in this bar at any given time, even on a Saturday night. This absolutely has to do with the crowd that frequents this bar. To be fair, I have nothing against the neighborhood at all. I spend a lot of time in Millvale and have many friends that live there, but I have yet to feel 100% comfortable at Midtown. There always seems to be someone in there that glares at you like you don't belong around here or a wasted/ opinionated local without a verbal filter. Definitely check this place out, but bring a friend and watch your back. If this bar was in another location, no doubt it'd be packed every night.

I've been there several times and honestly, I love the place so much that I would regularly make the trek to walk there and back from my apartment in Bloomfield. It is famously known as Pittsburgh's "they-bar," and the second you step inside, you can feel how deeply intentional they are about creating a genuinely inclusive, welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ and trans community. The theme is delightfully nerdy and witchy, with cozy, magical decor that immediately makes you feel right at home. They have a massive roster of events--everything from drag shows and karaoke to incredibly chill craft nights--but even if you're just dropping in for a drink, they completely nail it. Their menu features an amazing selection of creative "potions" (cocktails) and just-as-complex "fauxtions" (mocktails) that respect sober and drinking folks equally. It's easily one of the most comforting, accepting, and fun spots in the city. PS: Contrary to the one bad review I've read here, the service has always been top-notch!!From slow days when the owners and bartenders would have long convos with us to super busy times like during the Millvale Music Festival, always amazing service. Even during the chaotic busy times, staff always have a smile and a nice word for customers. Support local. Support lgbtq+.

Yay!!) the back patio was super cute, and large sized with string lights overhanging and multiple different sections for a cozy intimate vibe. We elected to sit at the bar, after we were able to grab two stools, (was pretty packed when we came in). The menu specials are adorable with different options, to include non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, let's not forget the candy bar! We had a few different drinks, I chose all of mine from the specialty menu, he chose some on tap draft and specialties. All super excellent. I had the lavender menace and the mermaid magic, along with a lavender lemonade. He had the pretty pretty princess and the archibald on tap. There's a store upstairs by the owner who was kind enough to let me shop during off shop hours. The shop is a combination of spiritual/witchy items and pride items. I purchased several items and the shop has a website storefront that offers shipping and e-gift cards. I got to meet Fred! The sweetest pupper ever, just absolute love. I left my boyfriend at the bar for shopping and petting a dog for a good 45 minutes. Oops.
