The sales guy sold me a gun that had no safety. Being a woman with four kids (this he knew) he sold me a gun with no safety. Sure some of it was my fault, I should have asked to be doubly sure. I just assumed that it had a safety. When I called him about it after I got home, He said bring it back he would exchange it for an additional cost of $150. When I brought it back the total was going to be $195. He told me it was my fault and I wasn't very smart if I didn't realize the gun didn't have a safety before I bought it. He is not trust worthy and a little shady. Please take your business else where if you can.

I loved how back then I could walk in, pick up a rifle, and point it through the store to look the scope. Wishing I had the money for it back then, but knowing I could not afford it. Then I grew up and as I did so did the prices of said guns; so just like the teen me I can only dream to have enough money one day to buy the rifles that I like. However, I have purchased a couple of fine quality shotguns from Baynes and they lasted quite a few years before I sold them or just stopped using them. I was never a hunter, just liked to shoot. Which is another reason as a teen Baynes was so great; they had their own members only rifle range out near the Walter B. Williams Park and I was lucky that my parents purchased me a membership. Shooting guns with my father was always a great outing for us. But Baynes is so very much more than just guns. They have knives too. lol.. No seriously, they carry everything from clothing, to camping equipment, to hunting supplies, to fishing supplies, and everything in between. I use to even get my shoes and boots here when I was in military school down the road.
