I dropped my car off on a Monday, got an update call on Tuesday, and again on Wednesday, when my car was ready faster than expected. I didn't price shop, but the cost was reasonable, straightforward, and less than expected. The repair job was solid and my car looks great. Hopefully I won't need them anytime soon, but at least I'll be less stressed the next time I have a car issue knowing that I found a reliable repair center.

I was very lucky to get my car in within a couple days because of all the flooding, auto repair shops were jammed. They kept in touch by email and phone to let me know the status. They had my car for about 15 days because they had to order parts as some were not repairable and also they are not open Saturdays or Sundays. When we did go to pick up my car, the work was fantastic, even better than I thought it could look. I was happy to support a family owned small business. It looked like a decent lot, and I drove from Jackson to Oak Creek. when I got to the address it looked like a junkyard, disorganized, messy. and nothing at all like the picture in the Ad. It looked like a Milwaukee HOOD BUSINESS. Certainly, out of place in the Oak Creek Community. The owner SAM was outgoing and overly nice. I built a sense of trust with him. On his website, he had a link to check the title. I did the research and contacted the DMV. They told me the title went from junked to renewable. The state assured me that in order for the title to be reinstated the vehicle had to undergo an inspection first, they assured me not to be afraid to buy it. so, I did. I bought the vehicle for $24,000.00. + TAX. The vehicle was on his lot for 3 months (now I know why.) He also showed me a picture of the damaged vehicle before he bought it. I drove the vehicle close to the business and it seemed fine. When I purchased it, I drove it home on the freeway and the front end was shaking. I called him immediately and he said it was just a tire balance problem. he made an apt. at Tires Plus in Germantown. When I arrived, he did not want to pay he said I should pay half. I opted to pay for the inspection myself. they called me back in the shop and said Steve you have major problems. The frame is bent, the steering parts are damaged, and the brakes are gone in the front. Note The mileage said 34,000 miles. The estimate was over $2000.00 for the repairs! I called him and he said "You should have bought a warranty. Huh? The vehicle should have been repaired to be safe on the road. He did not do this. I contacted the State, and they said I have to take it back to HIS chop shop. With no guarantee of him having to make the safety repairs. Then after 2 weeks, the dash control module failed. $3000.00 Total invested $5000.00. VERY DECEPTIVE MAN.

I had sideswiped a big boulder in a parking lot that left both the passenger side doors and the rocker panel at the bottom damaged. I filed a claim with Geico insurance on Mon., Sept. 21st and within hours, received a call from a Geico representative. I had decided to go with GEICO Auto Repair Xpress® program instead of choosing to get estimates by myself. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was told I could use Caliber Collisions which was located less than a mile from my house. I was set up with an appointment for the next day and was told that it would take about 1/2 hour. Because I had a car rental included in my insurance, a car and representative from Enterprise would be waiting for me at Caliber Collisions. My Geico claim was assigned to Troy Szymandera. I received a text from Troy the same day and he assured me that he would keep me updated. And he did! I was greeted by James, the service writer for Caliber. He walked around the car and talked me through repairs while assessing the damage. When finished, I was greeted by Nick from Enterprise Car Rental. He handed over the key fob for a Ford Fusion and went through standard questions re: fuel and insurance. He advised that when my car was repaired, I could just leave the rental at Caliper Collision and they would pick it up later. Between the walk around and paperwork, I was on my way home 20 minutes after I arrived at Caliber. I received texts from both Troy at Geico and James at Caliber on an almost daily basis. My car was repaired within 4 business days. To my utter surprise and delight, the passenger side looks brand new! The paint job matches the rest of the car perfectly. Caliber had detailed the inside which I normally pay over $100. They had saran wrap around the steering wheel as well as plastic and paper mats on the floors and seats. There was no chance of spreading germs during this Covid pandemic. The car was washed and has a super great wax job. This car has not looked this good since the day I bought it. The repair process was seamless by going with GEICO Auto Repair Xpress®. Partnering with Caliber Collision and Enterprise Car Rentals made this one of the best customer service experiences of my life. And that's a long, long time, because I got my license when I was 16 and I am now 70 years old!
