When a customer walks in, hang up your phone and stay in the background when the customer need help. Pay attention but don't bug the people about helping. If they need help they will ask for it. My experience in two stores were five star-plus. Waldport store has PRO sales people and lots of good selection, reasonable prices. I buy many things there to furnish home(s) and stage it for Real Estate sale. My own 5,000 Sf Ft home is furnished with their products. May not be top of the line but reasonably priced and good quality. Their 8X10 rugs are one of the best buy. Well made, stylish and many design available. Last time I bought three of these to partially cover a large wood flooring and give it a nice look. Sometime the best time to buy is Sunday, when not many people in the store and I can make a 'deal' if I buy more than two rugs the same time. Be friendly and the staff will work with you on pricing. The only issue I have with the stores, they can not get more of the same design in the rugs. They are shipped random numbers and styles. So, go and visit the Newport or Waldport stores. I have not been in the Lincoln City stores yet and have no opinion. Maybe a few weeks later I'll check it out.

Tgey had no Cal King, yet the website has them. I asked if they had any, they said they'd have to order them. The shelves were 80% empty and had room for multiple sizes. Why advertise, but no stock it??? Terrible business. I will never go in again! Will spread the word.

We happened to come upon this store while wondering in the historic district of Newport, Oregon…read more The name of the store beckoned me to come in and check out all of its unique, scary, creepy and dark merchandise. This isn't a store for all as some of the items may turn a stomach or two. Lots of antique and vintage skulls, sculptures, lots of Victorian period items, weird medical devices that were used somewhere at sometime. My mouth did drop open a time or two while browsing. I understand that they make their own candles which made the store smell delightful. Pricing is fair for most items. I did end up with a couple of prized possessions. I saw that they perform tarot readings in the back of the store for a fee. Service was friendly and helpful. If I lived here I know I would probably be a regular shopper here.

Drinks are good, but $5.50 for a 12 oz Italian soda that is torani syrup, a little canned 'whipped cream' and seltzer packed with ice (so actually 8oz) is about double what a few other coffee places in town charge. I made my displeasure known to the staff. Obviously they don't set the pricing. Staff, to their credit, took my grousing with courtesy and aplomb, credit to them. Was windy and chilly on October early afternoon (55-60 degrees with wind chill on the bay) so I closed the deck door where we were inside. We were only customers there. Staff reopened it and stated it must remain ope because the door latch was broken and might blow open damaging the door further. With the nickel and diming, ownership can get a $50 door knob. Won't be back until current pricing/mgmt changes

They have recently added wax melts to their lineup, which I am absolutely over the moon about, as I much prefer these for daily use. Be sure to visit their sister shop, Femme Fatale, down the street; it's a darker counterpart to Bohemian Candle's white witch vibe.
