The only thing I saw at the viewing party

Here's an idea: advertise a World Cup Finals Viewing Party. Then don't do anything to ensure that you can actually show the game until guests start arriving at 11am, an hour before Gametime. Then don't have anyone technically savvy onsite so by the time the game starts at 12pm you still have not figured out out how to broadcast it on the 3 large outdoor TVs you have. Round it out by having one bartender who didn't even know the bar was opening at 11am. Logistics 101 - figure it out Roosterfish

Had such an amazing night here, DJ Avani had the vibes rolling! I love Weho but sometimes the music at the bars can be a bit repetitive, Roosterfish had more of a groovy vibe - also helps that their decor is super cute!

Love the aesthetics! Came in around 9pm, and the DJ played a lot of boppers. Food was decent~ The zucchini fries were yummy. Burrata pizza was focaccia-like. Drinks are solid. Good meet up spot before adventuring elsewhere later into the night.

Ehhhh. This place looked cool, the server/host was very nice and accommodating but this was kind of a joke. We saw on Instagram they had a post about happy hour and drag race 8-close. So we thought to try it for this week... It was not happy hour this week. Two drinks (vodka ginger beer & peachy queen) $36. I ordered the $11 mozzarella cheese sticks... 5 of them, cold, cheese not melted still solid. Not a fan of this spot. I doubt we will be back.

Came here for happy hour with some friends. We came right at opening and they were a bit late to open. We were the only ones there and the bartender was super nice and friendly. Our drinks were fast. The ambiance is nice, and the outdoor seating is spacious though a bit janky. We also tried the meatball sandwich which was pretty tasty and the fries which were good. Overall, a good happy hour spot that lasts a while. Would come back again!

The original Roosterfish opened in Venice in 1979. It was a popular spot for my boys back in the late80's, so they were happy when they heard a second location was opening in West Hollywood where PUMP used to be. I've never been to the original location, so I was excited to check it out. Roosterfish is more of a nightlife destination than a restaurant. However, they do offer Italian-American bites. There are a few tables inside and plenty of space to socialize and dance. Outside is a cozy oasis - the beautiful olive trees, large center bar, & cabanas from its previous incarnation still remain. We made reservations and were seated in one of the cabanas. The DJ was playing some killer house music. Since it was the day before St Patrick's day, the usual Happy Hour specials weren't available, but the manager was kind enough to give us complimentary frozen mango margaritas. Bartender Maria was amazing! She had such a great personality and she frequently came out from behind the bar to check on us and bring us more drinks. There was also a very nice gentleman that brought our food and cleared our plates. I had the Huge Spritz, which was tasty & refreshing. The Lucky Paloma was a hit with our group. The light smokiness of the Mezcal gave it a nice twist. It was good. The Black Eye, which was a riff on an Old Fashioned, was exceptionally smooth. We ordered some appetizers to share: Mozzarella Fritta, French Fries with Truffle Aioli, & Calamari Fritti. They were all yummy and the fries were seasoned, which made then even more delicious. My friend said the vibe reminded him of the original Roosterfish. I like the ambience and the welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to coming back. HH Daily 5 - 8 pm

Great atmosphere, the workers were cool too. Friends and I came here for an event but we had a good time! Food was available.

We came here for happy hour, which is until 7 pm on weekdays. The happy hour deals are great and include tons of cocktails and lots of food options as well. There's a big outdoor patio and bar, but beware it gets crowded with long lines on days when they're hosting Love Island watch parties. Otherwise, it's usually not super crowded and a chill spot to grab a drink and bite!

SUCH A COOL BAR WITH GREAT AMBIANCE AND A LOT OF SPACE! I was excited to go to Roosterfish for the first time and it did not disappoint. PROS--- ATMOSPHERE: Was immaculate, I loved walking in through the olive tree forest of lights. Such a cool look and vibe. I also loved the back seating area with the pink glow outlines SERVICE: Our bartender was super friendly and made great drinks. She even offered to make an alteration if we didn't like the spice level which was super nice SPACE: I loved walking around to each area. Each space is well designed. Loved the option of being indoors or outdoors

A relatively new spot in West Hollywood. It was Pump before and was under construction for a while and is finally opened as Roosterfish. It's still finding its niche amongst all the other bars here. We came here for happy hour and enjoy our bartender Eddie. Great person with good conversation and cares about the community. We got some food on their Happy Hour. The Meatball Rigatoni was really well done. The Wolf and Honey was tasty too. The Calamari didn't hit the mark and was a bunch of fried breading with very few pieces of actual squid. I kinda miss the ambiance of the previous restaurant here but we'll see how Roostefish develops in Weho!

The restaurant is beautiful and reminds me of being in Mexico. A Spanish theme and style. A lot of seating and it's also spacious with an outdoor patio that is open to the customers and also widely used for many event. Everything was clean from what I noticed. The music volume was tolerable as well as the selection of choice. Felt like I was on vacation for a min. A great spot to have drinks. A great to spot to meet up or even come for a date. The Melrose Mule was cool. Very refreshing like the bartender mentioned. It was different than the usual mules I get. And the Improved Whiskey was like having an Old Fashion and Whiskey Sour together. It did not disappoint. I also had an attentive bartender who had a good attitude. Didn't take long for him to make my drinks nor put in an order for a smash burger. The smash burger was acceptable. It was good, however, I was expecting something a little bit bigger in size. I like the presentation with it being wrapped in foil. It was cooked perfectly, it was hot and flavorful. No complaints other than the size. I wouldn't mind pulling back up for another happy hour when I'm back in the area. They have some more drinks I would love to try.

The food was just as memorable. The chicken Parmesan was everything you want it to be: crispy, flavorful, and topped with a rich, perfectly balanced marinara and plenty of melted cheese. The Rigatoni Vodka (we added a meatball) was equally impressive. The vodka sauce was creamy without being overly heavy, and the meatball was tender, well seasoned, and packed with flavor. One thing to know before you go: parking can be a nightmare. There is valet in front, or you can opt for parking in the surrounding neighborhood. You're better off grabbing a rideshare if you can. It makes the experience much easier, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks. Between the beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and delicious food, this is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

We originally…read morewanted to try another restaurant, but it was completely booked, so we looked for somewhere new to explore. Met Him At A Bar seemed like a good option, and one of my girlfriends made a reservation for four. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM. I street-parked and walked to the restaurant, where one of my friends was waiting outside. I asked why she wasn't sitting at our table, and she told me that our table was right by the entrance. She didn't like that spot and thought the tables farther inside looked much more comfortable and cozy. Since people were sitting at one of those tables, she wanted to wait until they left. Personally, I thought the table by the entrance was perfectly fine, but I was also STARVING! Another friend arrived and also disliked the table, so we decided to wait. After a while, I was getting way too hungry, so we sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks while waiting. I first ordered the Garlic Shrimp and asked if it was spicy. I was told it was, so I asked if they could make it without the spice because I can't eat spicy food. He said he would check with the kitchen, but since I was starving and it sounded like it might take too long, I changed my order to Garlic Bread. One of my girlfriends ordered a glass of wine, and since she had made the reservation and gone through the trouble of arranging everything, I treated her to the wine and garlic bread. Then, of course, our friend who is ALWAYS late arrived about 30 minutes late! By then, the rest of us had already decided what to order from the Dine LA menu. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we ordered different items and shared everything. When our late friend arrived, we ordered his dishes separately. For the first course, we had Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, and Meatballs. For the second course, we ordered Rigatoni Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, and Margherita Pizza. For dessert, everyone ordered Tiramisu. Overall, I thought the food was good. My favorites were the Bruschetta, Meatballs, Rigatoni Vodka, and Tiramisu. The Cacio e Pepe was not my favorite because I thought they used way too much black pepper, and my other friends agreed. Our group had mixed reactions overall. Except for one person, the other two felt the food didn't quite live up to their expectations and were somewhat disappointed. But everyone's taste is different, so I completely understand. Considering how expensive everything has become these days, I thought the Dine LA price was pretty reasonable. It was $45 per person, and with tax and tip, it came to $60 each. For that price, I thought the amount of food and the overall experience were pretty good. I also really appreciated how friendly and attentive all the staff members were. I usually don't drink alcohol, and especially when I'm driving, I NEVER drink--not even a sip. That has been my personal rule for decades. So I just ordered water, and I loved how the staff kept coming by and refilling my glass whenever it got low. I drink a LOT of water, so I really appreciated their attentiveness. Now, about parking: valet parking is $17. I decided to street-park instead. One of my friends also street-parked, but unfortunately she got a parking ticket and was VERY upset. I had originally found a spot where a sign said a parking permit was required, so I decided not to take the risk and moved my car. Before leaving, I asked a man walking his dog if it was okay to park there. He said he had seen many cars parked there and they had been fine, but I still didn't trust it because the sign clearly said permits were required. I told him, "I don't think that's allowed." He was very nice and suggested going about three blocks farther, where there was plenty of street parking without a permit. I followed his advice and parked there. Unfortunately, my friend who stayed in the permit-only spot ended up getting a ticket. Another friend parked in the parking structure across the street and said it cost $18. Since I had parked farther away and didn't want to walk alone at night, I asked him to drop me off at my car after dinner, and he kindly did. So my parking recommendation is to use the $17 valet or street-park about three blocks away where no permit is required. I definitely would NOT recommend parking in the permit-only spaces unless you want to risk getting a ticket. One of the funniest things about this neighborhood is the restaurant names. The restaurant we went to is called "Met Him At A Bar," and literally right across the street is "Met Her At A Bar." There's also another restaurant called "The Night We Met." I have to say, the names are pretty creative and definitely make this neighborhood more fun! Overall, we had a fun evening together, and for $60 per person including tax and tip, I thought it was a pretty decent Dine LA experience.
