We got our first pup from Rooster Valley Labs and couldn't be happier. From the very beginning,…read moreCynthia was incredibly helpful and communicative--she made the waitlist process feel personal and exciting. We attended one of their open houses to meet the puppies, tour the facilities, and see firsthand how well they care for and raise their dogs. Everything was spotless, warm, and professional--it was clear they truly love what they do. Our puppy, from Jade and Oakley's litter, is now 4.5 months old. He's playful, healthy, and an incredibly quick learner--he's already picked up on all his basic commands! His favorite things are zoomies in the yard and long, cozy naps. We're so grateful to Rooster Valley Labs for giving our family such a smart, sweet, and well-adjusted companion. Highly recommend! Please follow my pup on Instagram: @barfi.the.labrador and let's set up a play date!

We bought our first yellow lab puppy from this breeder yesterday afternoon and returned back today…read moremorning (less than 24 hrs). The breeder has no refund policy 600 registration + 2900 price of the puppy. Please be aware. The puppy was almost 12 weeks old which was initially kept by the breeder for their Guardian program. We picked up on Saturday around 11:45am. Drove almost 2 hrs. To begin with the puppy threw up few times in the car and after coming home too. She had motion sickness to begin. We came home and gave water (Puppy had access to fresh water throughout). She did drink. She was running inside the house (little bit crazily and I understand because it's a new place) and would not even let her touch. So we tried to put a collar and put her on leash. Then took her outside to walk. She calmed a little bit down. From 2:15 2:45 pm walked. Then came home she had water. Throw up three times and pooped once in our small backyard. Later took her inside to put her in the pen where she would not sit at all or sleep. This is when she started barking. We left her alone inside the pen to have our lunch at 4:30pm. Took the puppy again for a walk as her barking became a bit louder. The cycle was walk , drink water and barking inside ex pen. Around 5:45pm we fed her dinner. Around 11ish we took for the last walk for the night. Put her to bed around 11:30pm. We had a bad experience with this puppy. If you had a huge home with backyard may be it would have worked. None of us slept the whole night. She was whining and barking throughout the night (which I understand all puppies do). The puppy would not stay inside the ex pen whatsoever. She would not let us pet her too. This puppy was constantly demanding us to take her out. Even at 11:30 pm. From 2 pm to 11:30 pm we were mostly out in and out. She never really went to sleep. As a first time owner, my experience with this breeder was this. I also felt that the breeder was not communicating to us well. Long story short, I wish the breeder at least gave $2900 back. I understand non refundable deposit for sure. I have seen my friends and neighbors owning dogs and yes they all had some initial issue but not like this. This was an expensive experience and I lost nearly $5000 on this puppy and puppy supplies. Having said this, I would request a refund ($2900) from this breeder. I went there only for a yellow lab as our son wished for that. This puppy was definitely a bit aggressive.

When I saw Daniel's story from Two Doods Doodles about this beautiful pup needing to be rehomed…read morebecause of a family tragedy, I immediately called him and inquired about her. I remember seeing her on one of his posts and immediately fell in love but she was already adopted. I had been on the lookout to adopt for about 9 months but timing just wasn't right and planned on looking more seriously in the late fall because work and travel will be less demanding. Every reasoning was thrown out the door when I heard about what happened to the family of this puppy, and the odds of the puppy being the same pup I had inquired about just made me want to meet her that much more! I told Daniel I'd do anything to meet her and see if it would be the right fit. Daniel was just so understanding and kind to me, especially after losing my doggie a month ago. He also said "you know, it's all about finding a good home for the pups.." right away I felt a sense of calm and excitement because I can tell that Daniel and his family cared about their dogs. He was so thorough and provided so much information and answered all my questions. He allowed me to come and meet the pups and Instantly had a connection with the pup I inquired about. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for Daniel and his family for such a wonderful and meaningful process in adopting my new baby pup. He sent us home with all the medical information, up to date shots, vet records and toys and things we needed to get the transition to go smooth. He even checked up on us to make sure things are going well and provided any advice when asked. I highly recommend Two Doods Doodles if you are looking for beautiful doodles that you want to be a part of the family!

I can't say enough to express how much I appreciate this breeder. My puppy is almost 6 months old now and has been the best companion, well behaved, intelligent and sweet, and so easy to love. I credit Daniel and Two Doods Doodles for their professional breeding practices and continued support I get in raising the best dog I've ever had. And I've had many wonderful dogs but this one is hands down the easiest to train. I would love to adopt a sister for her and will most definitely return to Two Doods Doodles

Rachael and David, who I believe may be the owners, or at the very least managers (along with their staff), are always friendly, inviting and extremely knowledgeable about animals and what food, or toys may be best for your pet based on your circumstances. They are always inviting and willing to help. I have also found that the pet food products they carry are typically healthier for your pet, more so than you may find at the big chains and box stores. The quality and price points of the pet food are fair and they often times have promotions and discounts. Many of the promotions are buy 12 and get your next one free (ie; bag or case of food etc.). Also, on weekends they have vaccination clinics and sometimes adoption events. They even have a dog wash inside. Check with the store to find out when and how often the Vaccine clinics, pet adoptions and dog wash is available. This place is located in Modesto, in a shopping center that looks like an old western town (corner of Tully and Standiford). Bottom line, I am glad to have found a personable store for all my pets' needs and to be able to help support a local small business.

I undertook a significant amount of research on Golden breeders in the extended area, focusing specifically on hobby breeders that had wonderful sir and dam lines that were well documented and highly reviewed. Tammy and Dream Golden Retrievers fit the bill. From the first series of communications, Tammy was awesome. It is so clear that she loves Goldens, and she provided us with a WEALTH of information. Everything from how to prepare our home and children, to the best vet to select, to the best trainers in our area. I can't imagine doing this on our own after having Tammy's support. Visiting the litter it was clear she had such an amazing Mom (Willow) and Dad (Doc) - https://k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=1081443. Tammy was very thoughtful in selecting our puppy with our input, and our sweet girl Scout has been wonderful. We provide a VERY strong recommendation for Tammy and Dream Golden Retrievers!!!!! Some pictures of our beautiful Scout :).
