This review is as much from the locals as it ever was from me…read more I just left this fine establishment and I can tell you that the locals love this place. Today was a Wednesday and there were dozens of people handing drinks, talking it up, and playing pool. We pop in from time to time after playing some ball at the park. Or sometimes just cause I'm thirsty. Regardless, it's always a good time. The clientele is all locals. I don't think a tourist could find Walsh's if they wanted too. Even though you can't miss it sting by on US1. It's townie appeal is unmistakable. No frills , just drinks and banter. It's not a barren place though. It's decorated throughout in an inviting way. I can come a few times where there is families all hanging out so it is a friendly place. Long story short, if you want to grab a drink in a nice townie bar, Walsh's will treat you right.

But, right up our alley. I saw the nasty old biddy SuzyQ still works here. I'm not sure how many people we know who have argued with that woman. And refuse to go if she's working. We're the same way pretty much. But, didn't know she'd be there. But we always run into somebody we know. And just try to stay at a table. And blend in. The TouchTunes music is always good. Pool and darts too. The ventilation could improve.

Upscale towny bar. I can't recall the last time I was in a spot quite like this…read more We were down in the neighborhood a little early for a show so we stopped into Roxanne's for a drink. Everything about it online looked like a nice enough local bar, but the stars on reviews seemed a little high for that. We grabbed a parking spot in the alley and walked in the back alley. For starters, it had a pretty cool neon sign that I'm sure everyone feels the need to take a quick pic with. We then walked in to the bar and sure enough it was towny bar, but all cleaned up. It had blond woodwork with modern industrial touches. It had been raining hard which mighta kept people at home. We kinda had the place to ourselves. It was a quick visit, but we came back after the show too. Great spot to stop into.

Arrived with time to spare so looked around for a place to grab a pre-show drink. My fiancée suggested Roxanne and when I looked on Yelp, realized I had it bookmarked. So, no brainer, we headed there. You have to know it's there to find it. Parking is located on a "back street", the food truck they had there made it easier for us to find it, especially in the rain. There is some free parking and metered parking. We want in through the back door and there's a claw machine game, and an instant IG photo opp area with a neon sign. Pass this and you are in the bar. It looks like an elevated towny bar. Dim lights, bar seating, some tables and couches, pool table, and two TVs. They were playing Marvel movies, great pick for all to like. Their happy hour is from 5pm - 9pm 7 days a week, and I absolutely love how they decide the discount you get. They give you a die and whatever you roll is your percentage discount. I was lucky to roll a 6 so 60% off my tab!! I just wanted to keep ordering drinks and closing out to keep playing. : p And our bartender was great!

A cool neighborhood spot with craft beers & food in Plantation!…read more During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of chatting with CJ and he was such a great part of our experience. We stopped by here before going to Cypress Golf a few doors down and it was the perfect bite before going. We just got some onion rings and two beers. I loved their selection of beers in their fridge and they had quite the selection of food on their menu. I'l definitely be back to try other things. A cool neighborhood hangout spot in Plantation!

We are mad at ourselves that this is the first time we have ever been here. Drinks (including canned sodas, Gatorade and every beer you can think of) are serve yourself plus they do have some beers on tap. First - service is super friendly. If it's your first time there it can be a little confusing on ordering but we figured it out and we were well taken care of. We were going to start with pretzel bites but we had a little snafu after a long talk about pickles and my pickle phone case so we ended up with the fried pickles. They were amazing and they weren't spears or slices they were bite size barely breaded (yay!) bites with a little bit of heat sauce. So good! They are obviously not made from frozen and are soooooo good! We then had the pretzel bites. It came with a thick cheese sauce that had a kick. My husband and I loved them too! I had a caprese hoagie (pressed) small. And my husband has a small North Fork small hoagie. It looked amazing and was HUGE for a small. We also had handcut fries. I love when restaurants serve fresh cut fries. They just taste different. So good. All in all, we loved it! There is something for everyone to eat and we are so happy we ended up here by default! Next time it will be on purpose.

7/16/2016 - Came here after having an amazing time seeing John Caparulo at The Improv Comedy Club…read more Myself and six of my girlfriends decided to come here. What a complete waste of time!. The place was beyond packed. I think we over exceeded the capacity of this place for sure. We kept wandering from dance hall to dance hall seeing if one was better than the other and it wasn't. It was so hot inside, I'm surprised no one passed out. I decided to get a Rum and Coke. I asked for Sailor Jerry and they didn't carry it. I said Captain, the bartender poured the cheapest white rum available. My friend wanted a tequila shot, the bartender again poured cheap liquor. The BILL $22!!!!!! The music is so loud, I had to sign to my friends for us to get the heck out of there!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!

If you don't want to go all the way to South Beach, but you are looking for somewhere for a smaller 10 or less group to go out and party like rock stars, Passions should certainly be on your list. I've been with groups much larger, but for bottle service the couches are small. I've been to functions with 50 people as well, and with a reservation you can have a VIP section so everyone is in one room with several couches. (I mention couches because after hours of dancing my feet hurt pretty bad and somewhere to sit, without leaving the party is important to me. Walk right to the left side of the rope in front of the line. Talk to the bouncer who looks up your name, puts a bracelet in your wrist and opens the rope for you. With the bracelet you can go almost anywhere in the club. Upstairs in the VIP bottle section you need a different wrist band. If you have ordered bottle service, then you will get your own white couch space with a separate bouncer which keeps others away from your party. The scene directly upstairs that overlooks the main room is not that different, but way less crowded. The second VIP room is much smaller, but you get drinks quicker and the jello shot girls are there ghetto most. I also think that the party gets much more wild in this room. Downstairs there is a room that plays Spanish and regaeton- but as stated in a previous review, that room gets over packed either people and when someone elbows you or stops on your foot in stillettos the party is over for you, so I stay clear of this room.
