They send unqualified people to your house please know different language. Once they find out what the insurance company is paying then they fill the contract in. They set me an account to pay my deductible which I did not have said give the check for $8,805.33 and I pay $620 a month for 16 months but had to put $250 down. Do the math now I owe $11, 300 after my first payment. Wow way over $10,170 deductible - $250 down - $620 first payment. They got me but I put all those lies in God hands. I was so excited after Jasper replaced my roof in 2/2018. Wow. They took my old roof off and a new one back on in one day. Well... fast forward to 8/18. Water stains started in my interior every 4' where the plywood was supposed to have been replaced. Since 8/18 I have been fighting to get this mess cleared up with no success. A new roof has to be inspected between phases of the roof replacement. Mine was not as they "did it in one day" - what I thought was a positive turned out to be a huge negative. The City that "inspected it" doesn't even go on the roof even though they sign off the work has been completed and is "up to code". They also are offering NO assistance. I am filing a complaint with DBPR which is the agency in Florida that licenses and regulates businesses. STEER CLEAR of Jasper. I am not asking for a new roof. I want whatever place that water is getting into my home to get repaired and my ceiling replaced. In the long run. They would be getting off really easy. I have been pushed into filing a complaint. I can't believe how many people have had a good experience with this company. They told me that they would accept what my insurance company was paying, but wouldn't provide their own estimate for the job. My insurance company provided. a very detailed and generous allowance for the roofing of almost $19k and also included amounts for other non-roofing damages to the bathroom and lanai which were clearly itemize. RoofClaim.com expected me to give them everything on the insurance company's estimates including the non-roofing payments. When I refused to pay them for the non-roofing services that they didn't provide, they filed a mechanics lien on my property for almost $2,000 and didn't even notify me about that. They basically demand all insurance payments regardless of whether they are roofing related or not. I've called them to straighten this out but the don't return the calls. And previously all they would say was how much I received from the insurance company and that they expected it all. I wouldn't recommend that you deal with these contractors because they are dishonest and fraudulently charge you for work that they didn't provide. The billing/collection people won't even listen to their own work managers when they they explain what applies. I would make sure that you get everything in writing from them and document everything and don't let them tell you how they document things because later they won't be able to figure what was done their way. The mangers don't explain financials well with their billing department and even when they explain it to billing, the billing department still doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand. Also make sure that your insurance company itemize a separate estimate for just the roofing portion of your damages and not combine it with your non-roofing damages. RoofClaim.com will only go by the amount on the total estimate whether roof related or not. I might also add that they used to go by the name of Jasper contractors, but changed their name. Folk, if you're looking around the internet to do your due diligence on this company...PLEASE take heed to my warning!! You will be sorry the day you choose to do business with Jasper Contractors, Inc. I wish I had done my homework and checked Jasper out before signing their contract. My husband and I are very upset and displeased with the work that was done on our home. We just recently had our roof replaced on 10/4 and the work was put to the test as the storm was passing FL...with little rain and wind in the area, we started leaking in the family room!! I called the company several times and even sent emails with pics. My husband went into the attic to inspect the roof from the inside and took a pic of the decking showing an obvious gap!!! Finally got a lady to call me and was basically shouting with a condescending tone. When I mentioned that I will not release any check until my roof is completely repaired with no leaks, she threatened that they will put a lien on our home and could foreclose on us if we don't pay them $14,000...for a leaking roof!!! I am now forced to contact Channel 9 to help other homeowners avoid this trash of a company and file complaints with the Consumer Protection Bureau and/or Dept. of Financial Protection. You have been forewarned...When you see their red pickup trucks prowling your neighborhood...RUN!!! I had my roof done by this company in August of 2015. Due to the recent storm in Jacksonville FL, the heavy rain left a small leak. I called they REFUSED to honor their two year Warranty they gave me. The customer service agent MAGGIE had the nerve to tell me to file another claim with my Insurance agent. They got paid a lot of money for the roof that they put on, & they had know problem PICKING UP THE CHECKS. They would not even send out an agent to take a look at the roof. They have quoted several of them considerably more than other companies for the same work and from all the reviews, it appears their quality is TERRIBLE. I recommend Gold Key Roofing of Orlando any day. Also Jasper's staff keeps leaving door hangers and harassing neighbors to hire them. We've called, emailed and sent them numerous notifications to stop this and to adhere to the NO SOLICITING signs at the entry of all of our neighborhoods; yet they continue to harass our area. I give this company 1 star due to the sheer lack of communication, false promises of completion dates, and at this point basically they have taken money my insurance gave me to complete other repairs on my house. If you use this company, the actual roof work will be adequate, but I believe any roofing company can do that. I would suggest getting every communication in written form only and record all face to face meetings. What differentiates businesses in this day and age is customer service, which this company lacks in all facets of relating to and dealing with the customer. I was specifically told my the project manager Dave that I would not be charged for any overages and that they would bill my insurance company and deal with only the insurance company. I mistakenly believed him and had about $700 in additional squares and materials. They would not endorse the check made out to my wife and me, my mortgage company, and Jaspers, until everyone else had endorsed it. They wanted to make sure they were the ones issuing refund checks so that they could charge me for the overages. I have called, texted, and emailed repeatedly about this issue. All I received was, "I will look into it" from Dave over a week ago and an email to my insurance company for a claim on the overages. I called corporate, no response. After just dealing with a company, CertaPro Painters, with possibly the best customer service I have ever experienced, this is certainly reminding me that once most companies have your money, you are unnecessary and no longer warrant any attention. It's been 1 year ( 08/2018 ) that I had my quality roof installed by Jasper roofing. In this past year we have had some serious storms come through. I haven't had one problem since. During some of the more recent storms I found other homeowners shingles in my back yard. NOT ONE SHINGLE FROM MY ROOF! I had it recently re-inspected, and it is still as solid as it was from day one ( August 2017 ) The installers are very well trained and take great care. A GREAT JOB DONE! A QUALITY ROOF FOR SURE! I still get many compliments on my roof. I very highly recommend Joe Palladino, who is the company's sales representative / company roof inspector, who is very experienced in his field of roofing. I live in Prairie Lake Village in Ocoee. This neighborhood has been papered with flyers from this company, and I see salesmen walking the streets. Now I see new roofs going on and signs in many other yards indicating that they will be getting new roofs from this company. I haven't seen a single roof that needs repair or replacing. Are these people even climbing on top of the homes to inspect the roofs, are they taking photos while they are up there to show the homeowners? Are the homeowners getting second estimates? terrible customer service when we got our new roof from jasper roofing we went with the more expensive roof because it had a 30 year warranty and it did help lower our homeowners ins. but just a short time later after installation we had a leak in the kitchen the seam where the short roof meets the talk roof. the service man came back and said he fixed it so we thought. today that same spot is now leaking into the house in the kitchen the exact same spot. I called to advise what is going on and the rep said they do not do repairs on just one little spot they only do full inspections and roof replacement. she said only the tiles are under that 30 year warranty I explained then it must be a defective tile in that area and it is leaking thru to that she explained that labor is only warranty for 2 years after i didnt say anything about labor i explained again its a defect in the tile in that area and again she said they dont do repairs only full roofs so in short she was saying to bad for you (in my nice words) all this time I thought what a great DEAL WE HAD THIS 30 YEARS WARRANTY. so they do not back up their work they shoot for the whole thing get paid by the insurance companies and run with the check to the bank.
