Everything was fine until the roofers busted a pipe . Their representative Cameron mason and project manager Richard assured me they would handle the bill for the repairs on damages. Thousands of dollars later the company is telling me they will no longer be responsible for the damages because it's a homeowners responsibility for water lines even tough it was their nail that caused leak. Adding to this they replaced 10 plywood sheets, no pictures of the "said damage" or phone call was given to me on this extra work of $1000. I saw this company illegally advertising in my neighborhood. When I approach them I was told immediately that they could put a sign in any yard they wanted whether it was mine or not because there's a city easement. I asked him how doing roof claims is good for the homeowner or the company but insurance rates in Florida are about to jump 40% because of false claims. They told me that's not the case and that it's just because they're supposed to be paying for it and they want to make more money for their corporate private jets and has nothing to do it's what they're doing. After talking with him for a little bit they really wanted me to sign a document that gave them full control of my homeowners insurance. They wanted all payments to come to them directly. Was crazy about this document is there was no end date so in a few years from now let's say you were to have a claim for something completely unrelated to a roof Jasper would get that check and you'd get stuck. When I question it the guy walking the streets told me they get paid a big fat commission for whoever they can get to sign this document but if I wanted to sign it I could feed their kids. I thought that was pretty rude and insulting. I watch them knock on the doors of other people. They told my next door neighbor that his roof was damaged and they should file a claim but the funny thing is they just replaced that roof two years ago as if the insurance company was going to let that fly because the insurance company as well as yourself can pull up the permit of when the roof was put on. These people are doing no research no due diligence they're essentially scam and customers. After a long talk about how this was illegal in a scam the sales guy said well when it all goes down I'm not the one going to jail for it I just work here who would walk away from such easy money with high payout. This company is a scam and make sure you tell your insurance company who's trying to represent you so they can tell you how they've already tried to press charges against this company. Also report to your local better business bureau. the specifically targeted elderly people as per the sales guy who knocked on my door. Run as fast as far away from these people as you can and if you see them in cabins in your neighborhood you should call the police and have them trespassed they're specifically targeted elderly people they are falsifying claims and even says so on their website that they're going to do stuff and not supposed to be doing for you. I thought things were going well until they finished and water started coming through the soffit during the next rain. Kyle promised that they would fix it but the repairs haven't been made and I have very little faith at this point. I made the mistake of recommending Kyle to a client of mine and he never delivered the report he said he would. Now I'm not sure he actually went to the house to inspect the roof. I am rather confused at some of these negative reviews. In fact, it almost deterred me from hiring Roofclaim to begin with. However, I am very glad I followed my instincts and hired them to install a new roof on our home. Hector was 100% upfront and honest with his proposal, plan, and implementation. Within just a few weeks our roof was complete and looks FANTASTIC! I could not have asked for a more honest and reliable contractor to do such a big job (We have a one-floor large home of almost 3000 square feet). In ONE day the roof was done and looks amazing. Well, I feel like I might have dodged a bullet not working this company ... especially after reading all the other reviews here on Yelp. I contacted Jasper in regards to a roof replacement in early January 2019. After a couple of appointment reschedules, on their side, one of their reps came out on 1/18/19. We will just call him, "Good Ol' Joe." Good Ol' Joe inspected my roof and said there was definitely damage and that I should file a claim with my insurance company as he thought there was a very good chance of a roof replacement. (I should also mention I have a couple of water leaks in the interior ceiling of my home and a large portion of the ceiling in the garage has collapsed.) Good Ol' Joe was very friendly like and verrrrry confident in himself. He even had me pick out colors that day. So exciting for a lil' lady such as myself! I made the claim just as coached and waited to hear. Oh! I also signed a paper that said I wouldn't have to use Jasper if the insurance company denied the roof replacement. Good Ol' Joe had done real good selling this lil' lady on his business, I tell ya! About a week after the claim, I hadn't heard anything from the insurance company and called Jasper. Good Ol' Joe assured me that he was working on it. My, my ... what a lucky lady I am to have such a terrific person trying to help me out. On 1/30/19, my insurance company called to say that they would not replace the roof. I then called Good Ol' Joe who said to let him talk to the insurance company as he did not believe the roof could simply be repaired. "Just hang tight" ... says Good Ol' Joe. I waited .... and waited ... finally called on 2/11/19 (left a message) ... called on 2/19/19 (left message), 2/22/19 (left message) and today 2/25/19 (left message ... the phone didn't even ring, he must have seen my number and immediately forwarded it to his Good Ol' VM.) Where did ya go, Good Ol' Joe? You never got back to me. You told this lil' lady to "hang tight", remember? Its like he disappeared. Now, I know "Good Ol' Joe" isn't dead because I've also called Jasper's office and they said they would talk to him and get back with me since he said "hang tight." Wellllll ..... Guess what? The office doesn't call back either! Good Ol' Jasper! My insurance company did send me a check for repairs but it has Jasper's name on it too. (NOTE TO EVERYONE ... DO NOT SIGN THAT CONTRACT ... I learned the hard way.) Anywho, I finally talked to someone today (2/25/19) and they are supposed to send me a letter releasing me from the Good Ol' Contract. Thank Good Ol' Gawd. Since all of this has happened, I have talked to a few people in my neighborhood who told me that Jasper is not a good company. I wish I would have checked Yelp prior to calling them. They have wasted my time with their silly shenanigans. I'm still dumbfounded how they have so many good reviews on Google. I can only assume this is a collection of reviews from all of their locations around Florida and Georgia. All I know is that they kicked me aside after the insurance company said they wouldn't pay for a replacement. The real kicker is, I just needed a new roof ... insurance paying or not ... June 13, 2023 at 11:16 AM, I received a text message from Miko from RoofClaim.com telling me he'll be in the area and I'm pre-qualified for a free roof inspection. I wasn't interested so I didn't reply to the text. The message gave no option to opt out either. Miko called me from 321-521-4262 and after stumbling for words he told me he was in the area doing a job at a neighbor's house and I qualify for a free roof inspection because as I am aware there was a storm in April that produced hail damage. I told him my roof was fine and I didn't need his inspection. He persisted and after saying no again and he continued I said my roof is just fine, I do not want your inspection. (We had our roof looked at just this month for a different reason and was told our roof was in excellent condition). If I need a roofer I will call them, if I hire a roofer it will be on my terms and it will be a local reputable company that gets my business. I do not like high pressure sales, if someone treated Miko's mom or grandmother like he treated me I am sure he would be very upset. Horrible service. DO NOT USE these people. They re did the roof at our new house in March 2020. We purchased the house in December 2020 and the roof is already leaking in multiple areas. When I called they said I was not under warranty because I did not transfer the warranty within 30 days and there was nothing they can do. They did not offer to send someone out to take a out. They did not offer to come fix it at a reduced priced, at full price, nothing. Unbelievable. They have some girls answering the phones who say they are the managers. Updating my review. I also decided to use Jasper/roofclaim.com for my primary home. Another great experience. I literally can't believe how easy it was and how they did it in one day. We have two dogs and that was just one day we had to leave the home. We live in a large 2 story home in Baldwin park and they helped me with the entire process. On 07/20/2021 they put a new roof on my house, on 11/05/2021 it started leaking around the vent and leaked in the kitchen, I called them on 11/08 2021 they came out i showed them a video and pictures of it leaking they want to put caulking on it to stop it, i told them NO i want it fixed right not with caulking. I told them they need to fix it right put bull around the vent and put the shingles back down, they said ok but they have to order the shingles and it will take a couple months i said ok i just want it done right three months later on 02/08/2022 i called and they told me that they closed my repair they fixed it with putting caulking on top of it , i said no they told me they were coming back to fix it right, she said they will have someone call me its 02/10.2022 and still no call. I was referred to roofclaim.com by my son who was in the process of getting his roof done. Drew, their representative, came to my house, explained what the process was (for the most part, he seemed a little inexperienced), time & cost. He looked at my homeowners insurance and told me my deductible was $1000. About a month later my homeowners insurance company representative called me and said that my deductible was over $5000, when I asked Drew why there was such a difference he said he read it incorrectly and that I would have to sign a new contract with the correct deducible amount. I was a upset about this, 1 because I am on a fixed income and 2 that is a lot of money, but I felt I had no choice considering I already signed a contract. When the checks from the insurance company came they were in my name as well as roofclaim.com (there were 2 checks for the roof and other repairs, that they did not do), I signed both checks over to them and was told that they would NOT hold the extra money that was for other repairs in my house. However, they did for over 3 months. I called both Drew and Roofclaim.com offices, without receiving any calls back and text Drew with very few text back ( the last 3 text, no reply). I found out recently (from my son), Drew was fired. My daughter-in-law drove to the office in hopes to speak to someone (manager), about all of our problems and concerns (including a $150 referral fee promised to my son), she was promised that we would both receive a phone call within 48 hours from a manager (Izzy). A week later my son received a phone call from Izzy, the manager. With a, I don't care attitude or what you have to say and that he would NOT receive a referral fee (blaming that on Drew). BEWARE, Jasper is a RIP-OFF.....My neighbor had a horrible experience with this company and after seeing a nasty email she received from Jaspers "lawyer" Renee Van Tassell, I decided to cancel my contract. According to my contract and Mike, if you cancel after 3 days you must pay for any "services" provided by Jasper up to $2,500. I decided whatever chargers I would face would be far less than the pain and suffering my neighbor was going through. In my cancellation letter I asked for a itemized bill detailing the services I would be charged for. I just received an invoice that states I owe a contract cancellation fee $2,500. I called and spoke with Melissa who stated the fee they charge is for contacting my insurance company, scheduling the appointment and negotiations. I explained to her that these are all things that I did myself because my insurance company did not deal with Jasper. Mike did not provide me with any services and actually texted me on occasion to ask me had I heard anything from my insurance company. I have screenshots of his texts! My insurance company only dealt with me, which is why my insurance check was not in Jasper's name. This bill is my first time ever hearing from the branch office. Jasper never ordered any materials, never scheduled an installation, and never negotiated with my insurance company....only walked to my door and had me sign a misleading contract. Now they expect $2,500! I am determined to expose this company and get them out of Florida ASAP!!!!!!!! So can you believe I am still waiting for an itemized bill for the services rendered by Jasper and a phone call from Maggie as I requested. Do not use this company. Also does business as Jasper. They do not warranty their work for more than 2 years and if you sell your house the new owners are screwed. Instead of guaranteeing the actual work, they guarantee the people who paid for it, but only for 2 years and if they stay in the house. That sounds like the cheapest work possible is done, and they do the least amount that they could possibly get away with. Came by the house a few times after a relatively minor hailstorm claiming damage to my roof - played along and had my insurance adjuster (as well as his boss) inspect and validate that there was no damage to my roof. Apparently Jasper plays the numbers and has a horrible reputation of artificially amping up claims to try and grab insurance dollars to pay for minor roofing damage. To make matters worse, over the past several months, I have had Jasper salespeople ringing my doorbell at least four times per week (no exaggeration) trying to sell me a new roof. Multiple calls to the corporate office have been fruitless and I am at the end of my rope. I have a message into Todd Ulrich from WFTV (he did an investigative report on this company for the same problem) as well as to the Florida Insurance Commissioner. All I want is to have these people stop ringing my doorbell. All of this activity is over a minor storm that hit Kissimmee way back in March and still, I am getting the multiple visits per week. Have contacted the Osceola County Sheriff and they say that not much can be done. Watch Out!!!!!!! My first experience with this company was them going door to door after the hurricane. They inspected my roof and told me it was shot. They then drew up a contract and asked me to sign. I laughed in their faces. Told them I would never sign anything until I talked to my insurance company. USAA ( 5 star company) came out and said there was not a thing wrong with the roof. I actually felt really bad calling out the inspector when other people really needed it. That was in October of last year. Now they just completed a job across the street. I came home to find my lawn had been run over from their vehicles, which caused large divots on my front lawn. The only way to fix the problem is to get top soil and new sod. I also noticed many black tire marks in my driveway that had just been power washed a week before. I had no clue what caused the marks. I then found out from a neighbor that Jasper trucks were parked in my driveway. Now I knew were the marks were from. I called Jaspers corporate office and was treated very nice by a person named Maggie. She assured me that everything would be taken care of. I sent her pictures of the damage to my property. Three days later she called me back. The first thing out of her mouth was "I talked to legal and you can't prove those marks or divots are from us". My neighbors word about them being parked in my driveway was not good enough. She then said the black marks were very likely from my own truck. Yes after living here over a year my truck just decided to mark up my driveway. I'm a very principled person. So you can imagine I did not take her accusations very well. She then said she would give me $75 for the damage because of customer service. I said I wasn't her customer. Furthermore, I stated that just power washing the week before cost me $75. I also asked what about the lawn. Her answer was a couple of pieces of sod no big deal. She did not want to acknowledge my time and effort that would be needed to fix the lawn. After several minutes she decided for "customer service" to give me $150. I have several ridge caps (shingles) gone from my roof. I wonder if I bought the shingles if they would come fix it for free? Really, "its no big deal". If this is how they treat someone whom wasn't even a customer, I can't imagine how they would respond to a bad roof job. So This is probably one of the most unprofessional job interviews I've been to out of all of the job interviews I've done in my life. So I get there no one greats me or anything at all I just walk around and find my way into one of the doors on right. Suddenly a random man walks past and asks me, "are you looking for Jasper" I simply reply yes. Then this random guy who hasn't even introduced himself asks "is that your resume?" I reply yes sir. He grabs it out of my hands tells me to sit down there *points* and walks away with my resume in hand. Then couple mins later some random girl walks out to where I'm sitting, introduces herself and says "here's a math test, you have 20 mins to complete and you can't use your phone". I replied ok and got started. While I'm sitting in this big open room at the front all the sudden like employees and other random people start walking out. Don't forget I'm here for a job interview and currently taking. Math test. So anyways, while I'm still taking test. The lady who gave me the test gets on phone just talking talking talking loud as can be. Some random other lady walks out of an office in the back and get this. She sits RIGHT ACROSS the table from me taking me math test literally being so loud and obnoxious on the phone speaking Spanish. While the lady who gave me the test is also still on phone being loud. Then to top all that off. 2 gentleman walk out of the office in the back making TONSS of noise laughing and rambling on about something talking to the ladies that are around me while I'm STILL SITTING HERE taking a test. The heck wrong with you people. Show some respect. I don't know how your parents raised you but geeezzzzz man. Seriously? So it's about 10 mins into my test and all this garbage is still going on while I'm sitting here trying to focus and then the lady who gave me the tests walks up to me and says what are you applying for? I'm thinking seriously?!?! You all have been emailing me about this for a week. We literally set up this interview a week ahead of time not to mention you also emailed me back asking for me to come an hour later to what we first planned. So then she has the nerve to tell me oh go ahead and finish that math problem you're on and I'll take it. I'm like okkkk? So I finish it she takes my test comes back like 1 min later and says actually I think we mixed your resume up with someone else's online I'm sorry. I'm just sitting there staring at her like what!??? LOL you stupid? I mean come on. There's obviously a HUGE communication problem within this department lol! Killing me. So I was just like ok. I had my roof installed by Jasper 1/2017. About 3 weeks ago, started getting water running down the walls and flooding the floors. They sent the men out on 3 different times. I was just about to have a nervous breakdown. They searched, put a new boot? around metal pole and checked inside attic and out. No leaks. Finally, one guy told me to turn on the yard water sprinkler system. My Gosh, They found the problem. The sprinkler under the eaves had broken and was shooting up water like a fire hose. The water was going under the eaves, into the attic and then down the walls. I just cried when they told me. During all my frantic calls, rants, raves- the people at Jasper Contractors were extremely kind, considerate, cooperative and professional. You cannot please all the people all the time. Please whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM ROOFCLAIM.COM!! They will try to max out your insurance and confuse you in every way possible. I am so glad that I started asking questions and did not let them perform my job. I also advised my insurance to NOT talk with them as they were dying to get a copy of the loss sheet so they can see what insurance will pay. They have told me several different things...the salesman told me that if he didn't respond to me within 24 hours, the contract was null & void. I have a text PROVING it took him 6 days to respond. When I told him that, he said it was 48 hours (he didn't know it was 6 days), then once he found that out, he said it was 7 business days. I never received a copy of my contract ither. I wanted an estimate of my roof before I told him anything about insurance but he would not give me that. He said "my roof is my deductible & that is it". After multiple conversations, he said that he would charge me $500 a sqaure for the roof cash price ($19,000) which was significantly less than before so I told him let's go with that. Then he said that isn't including everything...blah, blah, blah. They are threatening to make me pay $2,500 for cancelling even though they voided the contract. I am getting further estimates that are significantly less than Roof Claim.com and hearing other stories that are cooresponding with mine. As well as multiple complaints on Google, Facebook, and the BBB. Wish I could rate a zero. I was not shopping for a roof...sales associates were in the neighborhood going door to door saying that they are looking for people with wind and hail damage to their roof from January. Long story short, I didn't read the fine fine print and signed, I wanted out of the contract, and their "legal representative" basically told me that if they didn't do the roof, then I would have to pay $2500 cancellation for for their time and professionalism. I was told I was signing to give them permission to pull permits when in essence I gave permission for them to do that and have authority to speak to my insurance company and have the check made payable to Jasper. You can not change your mind after 3 days and they control your roof and your money. I felt bullied, belittled, and no understanding. It's all about the contract and the money. Gone are the days where people care about human beings and not about swindling people, high pressure sales, taking money from insurance companies, and not letting a person say they don't want the company to do the work. I am nauseated, sick, and have high anxiety over this. I have never felt this taken advantage of before all because "I signed the paper contract". So hurt....i didn't go looking for a roof, they kept knocking on my door. I am sure there will be a condescending message left by Jasper about how this is all my fault for not reading and I was emotional and they tried to explain to me and how a contract is a contract. That they are this big reputable company. If they are so big and have so much money why won't they let my little 1200 square foot home out of the contract. They have done no work on my house yet. But I know the message will say this is all my fault. I just want another roofing company to do the work. I do not trust in this process. I need to feel comfortable but they don't care. The crew was polite and worked very hard and took care in putting the roof up and the clean up afterwards was perfect. All questions were answered and the procedure was explained in detail. I would rate Jasper as a NEGATIVE 5 if I could. Jasper replaced my roof in May 2015. I thought they did a good job until I had my gutters replaced last month (April 2018). At which time it was discovered that Jasper failed to comply with industry standards of removing the gutters/downspouts and removing the old drip edge. Instead Jasper took the shortcut and put the NEW drip edge over the OLD existing drip edge, cutting 2 slits (notching) about every 20 inches to accommodate the existing gutter spikes. Had I not replaced my gutters, this would have gone years without being discovered. In the contract Jasper agreed to replace the roof for the Replacement Cost Value of Owner's roof as determined by Owner's insurance company. Jasper accepted my insurance check which included 1) Payment to detach and reattach gutters and downspouts (which they did not do), 2) Payment to Remove and Replace drip edge (which they did not do). Makes me wonder what else Jasper got paid to do per the insurance loss report, yet failed to do while accepting the payment. It is wrong, deceitful, and fraudulent to accept payment from the insurance company for work you did not perform. Jasper's shortcut of placing the NEW drip edge over the OLD drip edge and notching the new caused the gutter company not to be able to install the gutters in the manner in which they were intended to be installed resulting in an unsightly mess. The new gutters had to be installed much lower than the original gutters which are not aesthetically pleasing due to 2-3 inches of notched drip edge showing above the gutters. Additionally, I am not convinced that there will not be water intrusion where they notched the drip edge. In an attempt for Jasper to make this right I spoke with someone in the Corporate Office and was basically told sorry your warranty was only for 2 years and it's been 3. REALLY? A reputable company would back up their workmanship and would bend over backwards to make right the wrong. read more

This company spends dollars direct-mail marketing on roof repairs. So, I call to get an estimate and procedure to replace one tile on my roof. The job is "too small" they say. Their advertising implies they are repair specialists with no limitations. Well, they just lost a potential long-term customer by flipping me off on a small job. I can't rate the quality of their work but I can rate the quality of their marketing and response. If I was in that business, I would use a small job to set up future work and referrals. I would set up a repair when I had another job in the area, price a solid margin into it, make a good impression and establish a customer for life. Basic business 101. read more

The Jasper roofing company salesman are the biggest snakes in the game. Some things to watch out for... - Architectural is an Upgrade. If you're promised it free, make sure you get it free. - You have three days to cancel the contract w/0 a $2500 penalty. - The sales representatives will be super nice to you until you an locked into the contract. You'll even maybe fall in the love with them.. After the contract is sealed, you really mean nothing to them. - They will come at 6:00AM, banging, making noise on the roof. I understand its a job, but do you have to sound like gorillas blitzing my roof? - In the rain they DO NOT cover your roof. - Insurance will not get you out of your contract. - Insurance doesn't care what happens after the installation - City/State doesn't help. They just care about the structural integrity. Then again they passed one of my friends roof which literally started to leak like one week after the project. - They will completely destroy your gutters, roof flashing. This happens because they have some 16 year old kid cutting the flashings. - TAR WILL BE EVERYWHERE. Roof, grass, sidewalk, wall paint. - They throw all the roofing trash on the side, and front of the house picking it up ...eh about 3-4 hours later. In fact I just got a nail through my shoes into my foot just last week!!! wohoo - Because they did not cover our roof when we literally had a full-blown tropical storm going, the sheet wood composing our roof became soft. This caused the sheet wood to bend according to the trusses. This causes dips and elevation in roof structure. - Don't expect them to hold to their word, ever. - Btw some of the reviews on google seem to be written by the same person. heh. heh. heh. Just check the writing style... Yeah guys. Run far, far...far away. This company doesn't need to be in functioning capacity. They are a bandwagon of snakes, and liars. read more

Called Jasper for an estimate to replace a Tile Roof that I would pay for myself not the Insurance Co. He arrived took all the information and was told I get back to you with the bid. Waited over a week for the bid to be sent to me. Finally called their office and was told they won't take my money they only deal with insurance co. That seems very strange that they deal only with Insurance Claims. Beware. read more

BEWARE of this company, Jasper Roofing (Jasper Contractors). This is based on my experience: Jasper Roofing/Contractors, you are out of control and you need to stop! Enough is enough! Your representatives have come by my house in the past different times. Not only leaving their advertising hanging on the door but also knocked. Told them many times that not interested. On Wednesday, June 9, 2016, an advertisement was left at my door again. I put it in the garbage like always do. Then later on the same guy who left the advertisement came back and knock on the door to make sure got the advertisement. Are you kidding me? He has done the same thing to everyone on my road. Your company started working on a roof on a house on my street yesterday and now a bunch of them have been going door by door and parked their cars down the road for no reason. I do know who I will not be calling if I ever need roof work done. You seem to take no for an answer. I am not the only one that is not happy with your company because of this. Posted about it on a private group on Facebook we have for the neighborhood and people say the same thing. That the same has happened to them. This is what some of my neighbors have commented in the group on my posting about Jasper: "Heard it rumored they were kicked out of Jacksonville aka Duval county" "I told the guy if he ever steps foot on my property again I will shoot at him. He laughed, I showed him the gun and he left." " Do not hire them or Heritage. They get all your money that you get from your insurance. They get you to sign an Assignment of Benefits" "One of them tried to open my door when I did not answer. He had his insert in my door trying to pop the lock. I finally got up and opened the door. The guy tried walking inside the second I opened the door. At this point I introduced him to my friend and told him to leave." " Very pushy group!" As you can see, this company are not very well liked. I have contacted the Homeowner Association about this to see what they can do about you.
