I requested a change to the underlayment, which Jordon indicated was no problem and verbally let me know what the price difference would be but did take a little bit to get the official updated quote. Materials arrived on time and on schedule (tbh, I was worried that they weren't going to be). Work started promptly on time, and while the crew did work full days, they ran over by about a half day (luckily we weren't in any kind of rush). Workers cleaned up daily and pretty thoroughly at completion. While I do wish there was a little more communication regarding updates to the project, I would definitely use this company again.

John arrived on time, covered patio furniture, did the job, cleaned up well after himself washing down outside sidewalks and patio area. John York showed me photos of the completed job. There were tidy edges all around without any drippings down the front edges like I've seen other roofers do. In the photo you can see the difference between my finished resealed roof and my neighbor's. I am well pleased with York Roofing's work. John said he would be happy to come out every couple of years to check that everything was okay. THAT is good service.

I needed my shingle roof replaced due to hail and wind damage plus it was 22 years old. The…read moreinspector/adjustor from my insurance company came out and did a detailed written evaluation so I had a good idea what I needed before asking roofing companies for estimates. I requested estimates from 3 companies including Craven and two others which were large companies recommended by Rosie on the House. The other two companies provided such poor service initially that I decided not to follow through with them. I had called Craven because a woman in my neighborhood had them replace her roof last year and she was very satisfied with them. Randy came out 3 days later and showed up on time as scheduled. They thought they would be able to schedule the work within 3 weeks but as it turned out they had one crew who had completed another job early and said that if I wished, they could start on my roof in two days. The crew that came out was knowledgable and experienced. The only variable on the estimate was for underlayment which they can't see until they strip the old roof off but they did say that if plywood was damaged it would cost $70 additional for each sheet that needed to be replaced. As it turned out only one had water damage so that was in line with what my insurance adjustor had told me. They used quality materials (Owens Corning) and the job was done on time at the cost they had quoted. Overall, they did a great job and I would recommend them.

The second was a complete home re-roof project with asphalt shingles. The third was a re-roof project with new concrete tile. In each case, they performed the work quickly and professionally to my complete satisfaction. The most amazing one was the tile roof. They literally started and finished the project in two days, including final cleanup.
