This was one of the nicest lake homes that we have ever stayed. We had a party of four guys on a fishing trip. The house is only 5 years old. There is plenty of space in every room. Also, it was extremely clean clean. The fishing was very good with a variety of fish(Crappie, walleye, perch, smallmouth and a 40" musky). First off..what a great weekend! My wife,dog (and baby to be) and another couple of married friends (and their 2 year old) all headed up to Ron's Hideway for the extended weekend and it was fantastic. First off a fully furnished house with dish, dvd player, and all the other great amenities and placed right on the water with you're own private dock is a rare find (not that we used much more than the coffee maker due to all the fishing). Personally I spent much of the weekend kayak fishing and boat fishing with my buddy, and the ladies enjoyed the peace and solitude that water front property in the north woods of WI affords. Suffices to say we are very happy with the weekend, especially compared to more than double the rates we have paid in the past for a run down cabin much more removed from the water. Lastly..taking a boat across the lake to a bar/restaurant to enjoy a few WI brews and deliver a great pizza back to the house at 11pm is an experience I'll not forget. All in all - great experience, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. read more
