Ron is great. Took our puppy and trained him to use the doggy door and got him walking correctly. Definitely recommend.

Ask the Community - Ron's Dog Training

How much and how long will it take you to potty train my dog?

Take about a week or two providing what kind of dog it is and the environment give me a call at 714-341-0002 Ron

Hi Ron. Our dog gets aggressive when he's on the couch with someone. When you try to sit with them he growls. He gets aggressive too when he has something that you want. He's a Pomeranian-Javanese mix, and is almost 3yrs old. How much do you charge?

I would have to come by and meet the dog and ask you some questions about him and then I can assess it from there

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Our main issue was walking and pulling on leash. After our six-week training course, our pups improved tremendously. Not only do they no longer pull on walks, but the other techniques Andi shared have also improved our communication with our dogs. Andi is incredibly patient and has a straightforward, easy-to-follow way of explaining things. She followed up after every session with detailed notes and references, which made a huge difference .Again, I cannot recommend Andi and Diamond Dogs Training enough.

So happy I found Pawsitive Pet Care! I was having a hard time finding someone to the point that I…read morewas worried I'd have to board my cats instead which is stressful on them. I've hired Kristen multiple times since then to check-in on my two cats. She keeps me informed daily with photos and details of how my cats were doing via text message or whatsApp [when out of the country]. Kristen is easy to communicate with, personable, and gets along well with both animals and people. My cats adore her, even my skittish one. My parents have fun when she visits. I think one thing that made it difficult finding a cat sitter was that my elderly parents would still be at home during the visits, but Kristin had no hesitation when I mentioned that to her. It was quick and easy to arrange the initial visit. The price for cat sitting is competitive to what I would expect in my area of san diego. My only wish is that I have a pet sitter like her at home.

Our dog was working with Bryan who gave updates on the days promised with no delays. We have a husky who is a bit skittish and of course a tad stubborn. When we watched her videos, she clearly was getting the training down well! Once we came home and picked her up, Bryan made it easy to understand the next steps and has consistently followed up with us to check how she's doing. It was suggested to train with an electric collar. My partner and I were considering it ourselves but didn't know how to use it properly. The SMS team have you try it - I wouldn't try something like this on my dog without knowing what it feels like a promise you, it's not at all painful. Since using it, our dog has followed commands and even does things naturally like being right at our side while walking or sitting and staying. We've only just begun and it's been great results. We hope that this keeps up and that once we ween off it, she'll be an even better dog. Two last things. They also understand a dog is a dog, her release command is literally "go play". Bryan helped train to lifestyle and our dogs specific needs. Secondly, they coordinated trainings on holidays - we flew in Christmas Eve morning and they easily accommodated us in such great manner.

The location was completely closed. I finally called the office myself, and Sean told me the trainer would be there in 5 minutes. There was no apology for the delay, even though they were clearly aware the trainer was running late. After waiting even longer, Ryan, the trainer, finally called and said he would arrive in another 15 minutes. At that point, he would have been over 30 minutes late for our appointment. Being late occasionally happens, but the lack of communication and professionalism was frustrating. A simple phone call ahead of time and a sincere apology would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this was not a great first impression, and it made us question the level of service we could expect moving forward.
