After taking the car to my regular mechanic, I learned that besides body work, the frame had been bent on the car and also needed to be adjusted. I dropped off the car at Downtown Auto Body and got an estimate right on the spot. I worked with Joey who was very easy to talk to about the car issues and what could be done. Over the next few days I waited very nervously while the car was being worked on. I have had a few bad experiences with mechanics over charging, throwing last minute charges in and overall taking advantage of me because I am a woman. When I called to check on things and re-confirm the pricing, Joey thoroughly explained everything that was being done to the car and why it was being done, as well as give me a solid confirmed estimate on the charges. He left me feeling very confident that they were doing a great job on all of the repairs on the car. I felt really relieved after talking to him on the phone and was happy he took the time to explain everything. The day I picked up the car I was really impressed with the great job that they had done. Though they needed to keep the car a few days longer on the frame rack due to the frame being bent so far, they managed to get it back on track, made all of the repairs and even cleaned up some scrapes on the bumper for no extra charge. Best thing was that the costs came to nearly $1000 cheaper than I and my boyfriend had initially assumed it would cost. I waited a few weeks to write this review to test how well the repairs held up and they are all holding steady with issues. I highly recommend Downtown Auto Body to anyone needing body work done. They failed to tell me they had actually scheduled my car's appointment even though they said they would coordinate that part with me, which I didn't know until I missed the appointment. Ultimately, it took another 2 months to get my car on their schedule. Now the day I go to drop my car off and pickup the loaner is even more fun. The loaner car had been dropped off that morning after being in a "hit and run". Jim's Auto Body employee informs me its completely drivable, which is was. Then I get in the car and it reeks of cigarette smoke and the "service fuel filter" light is on. Now lets fast forward to the day I'm supposed to pick it up. Not only did they not call me, I called them to find out that it will not be ready for another 2 days. Again, the day it's supposed to be ready, I'm the one calling them only to find out it needs another 2 days before it's ready. Now the day comes for the third time, is my car ready? Oh would you know, it'll be ready just before 5pm on closing at Friday. Which inevitably means I cannot pickup my car until the following Monday. Here we go! Lets pickup the car, finally! It's done when I get there! It obviously smells very chemically due to having fresh paint, ok I get that. They left their dust and whatever mess it may be for my cleaning detail, thanks. The best part? I went to fill up the gas tank and had to the pry the cover open because it was taped shut still from being painted. Does it look better then it did when I dropped it off? Yes. Annnd don't forget the fun 3% fee when you pay with credit card, which adds up rather quickly when you have a lot of work done! Thanks guys. Just work on your COMMUNICATIONS!!!!!!

The place I used last year - no longer does it, the place I used the year before - no longer does it. I had to search & make a few phone calls before I found a place. Quick and efficient, the state does not seem to pay facilities to do these emissions testing enough for them to continue from year to year. It pretty much brings folks to establishments, which in turn, brings awareness of the business. My vehicle is not that old, still under warranty. I would love to support this shop, once I don't have warranty coverage. Next time I need emissions they probably won't be doing it. Our state needs to support the effort better.

I have expressed my strong disappointment with your poor business ethics and will pass that along to my sphere of influence. Unfortunately that means that I will advertise to not use Crash Champions rather than to utilize Crash Champions. As a customer, I was recommended to you, came in to you, was estimated by you, and set forth to repair with you. Circumstances in our unpredictable family life came along. We communicated about reschedules and then 2.5 weeks ago re-initiated repairs. Within 18 days Crash Champions still did not have 1 part ordered or had any schedule to repair our vehicle that was already on file. The parts had been on site, sent back, and then NOT re-ordered. The worst business part was how, as manager, Ryan Gibson did not communicate ANY of this until he had emotionally told an unvalued customer that he felt "hung out to dry" (accusatory wording). Furthermore, as an excuse Ryan Gibson and therefore ALL of Crash Champions refused service and issued refunds without notifying the customer that Crash Champions allegedly "couldn't get parts".
