My experience with Coach Ron has been amazing! I was struggling with a few long term issues before I went to see him, mostly an out to in path (even though I have tried so many things to fix this), overtaking my swing with my upper body, as well as an inconsistent low point. After a few lessons with Ron in which we dissected and broke down my swing and built it back up, we hit a breakthrough session. Not only was I able to consistently hit with an in to out path and a consistent low point, I added a fair amount of distance to my clubs (which wasn't my intent, but came in a natural way). Ron's teaches with enthusiasm, positivity, and patience. He individualizes different feels for me, so what may work with someone else may not work for me, and vice versa. Just finished my 3 lesson package with Ron, he's fantastic. He takes his time and even makes sure he'll be a good fit for you before the lesson. I was done just hacking away at the range and really wanted to commit to getting better and lessons are the way to go. I'm not instantly a single digit handicap now or anything crazy but the fundamentals are now in place and I'm on the road to really improving my swing. You have to put in the work. I have had three lessons with Ron and will most certainly be going back for more. My game was decent for the most part(7-10 handicap) but he was able to help me clean up parts of my game and gave me two big things to work on to help improve into the future. Ron is a true 5-star coach! When we first started lessons, I had a very inconsistent swing, with little to no idea of the theory behind what makes a good swing. Ron and I started from the very basics, with small half swings, to really understand what needed to be done. Throughout the entire process, Ron was correcting small things, which I would have had no way of knowing on my own. In just 5 lessons, we were able to get my iron swing to a consistent and playable state, with a roadmap of how to get it even better. Ron has a simulator built in his garage, which records all the data you would need. Ron has a way of identifying problems, explaining exactly what is happening in the swing that lead to the problem, and distilling it down to clear steps for correction. I am a bogey golfer and I finally sought out a professional instructor to help me with my inconsistency and slicing. Ron has all the equipment, cameras, and telemetry to help him analyze your swing which he used to present me with data and videos of my swing. It showed me mostly only using my arms for my swing and not engaging my hips enough. By using my arms only, I would cast the club resulting in an outside in swing path which would result in a slice, or if I am lucky, a fade. Ron then gave me instructions in bite size chunks to start helping me use my hips more. I appreciated learning in this way, because having too many "swing thoughts" often makes your movements clunky and frustrating. Additionally, Ron is also accommodating in the spacing in-between each golf lesson so you can have the time to work on the techniques he has given you. I have gone to the golf range multiple times to work on the new swing using the new technique and I definitely reduced slicing the ball. I am excited for my next lesson with him. read more
