We join an event/party in this place. It is my first time to play golf simulator. Since it is indoor, no wind and not too hard or too cold, I feel very comfortable.

Went to mariners driving range and it was packed. Found this indoor simulation spot nearby and so glad I did! Kids had a blast using one of the smaller booths and staff was very helpful. They even had a decent set of clubs to use and the space is well equipped, clean, and new. A great option especially when it's raining outside.

When an issue popped up the owner fixed it in seconds and also educated me on how to use the simulator and also for the app as well.

Fast forward a couple months and the greens are fully healed and in amazing shape for a local muni. Honestly, some of the best greens I've played on a public course in the Bay Area. The best part is that it's still affordable compared to other public courses. I played a round with my dad and lifelong friend this past weekend. It was a holiday weekend and we didn't have a tee time on Thursday, but I kept checking back on the website and was able to book a sunday tee time at 8:30AM. We checked-in and the course was empty-ish and was able to tee off 15 minutes early. We didn't have a single play with us so it ended up being a great round with just the 3 of us. While the greens are good, there are some dead spots in the fairways from all the rain that came over the winter but overall still in great shape. Poplar Creek is the golf course where you go for an ego boost because they have so many driveable par 4s. The caveat to that is there are a lot of tough par 3s. Pretty much all the par 5s are reachable in 2, so there's birdies to be had all over the course. My personal best here is 67 with 6 birdies! The prices increased since lasts year. Weekday is $45 and Weekend is $62. Either way, still very affordable by Bay Area golf standards. The course is very walkable as it's super flat. Looking forward to playing many rounds out here over the summer!

The course is drying out and almost back to the forgiving fairways I'm used to, but I have to say that the rough over the last 2-3 rounds I've played here since those rains has been a little thicker than I'm used to...but I actually like it! Makes the course more interesting and challenging. Maybe I'm a masochist but I also kind of liked some of those big ponds that were out there right after the heavy rains...definitely made you focus more on driving accuracy vs just bombing away (but it would be nice to put a warning flag or something on a few holes where those ponds are hidden (like on #1, #10 and #14)...nothing worse than hitting what you thought was a great tee shot only to find out you lost your ball in a huge pool of standing water you could not see from the tee box or fairway (no penalty but cost me a $4 premium ball a few times!). It's also taken awhile to fix the driving range fence (going on about 2-3 months now) so that's a bit disappointing (I heard it will be ready by April 1 though)...however, the short game practice area is one of the better ones in the area for a public course (it's free if you're playing a round that day). What I do miss is the Par-3 Restaurant and Snack Bar. Hope they sort out that messy situation soon and get another great proprieter in there soon. Anyway, you can't beat the price here, especially on a weekday! It's my go to course when I need to work on my game and build up my confidence!!

The club offers several membership levels tailored to different needs, and the facilities are well‑maintained, and cared for by a staff that works hard to keep everything looking great. We joined in 2019 because we didn't have a swimming pool at home, and our kids wanted to enjoy the summer weather. The newly renovated pool had just opened, and it was incredible to see how many families were out enjoying the patio, the Terrace Café, the diving board, and the overall energy of the space. We chose the Clubhouse membership because I'm not a big golfer, but I still appreciate being able to join friends for an occasional round as a guest. The food at PGCC is exceptional. Whether you're craving American, Italian, salads, or something quick and easy, the club is often a better option than going out. It's less crowded, the staff is friendly, and service is quick -- perfect for families. During the off months, they open up the Terrace cafe for kids and children with activities there so the parents can enjoy finishing dinner while they play XBox, color, or games with monitored lifeguards there. The Wellness Center is another standout. It's clean, modern, and fully equipped. I actually canceled my Equinox membership because the club's gym and fitness classes meet all my needs. They offer yoga, TRX, cardio dance, barre, and more -- truly something for everyone. The locker rooms are great as well, and having a personal locker has made it easy and convenient to keep my gear at the club. PGCC recently added new pickleball courts, and they've quickly become one of the most popular social spots. They bring a fresh, active vibe to the club and help break the old stereotype of country clubs being stuffy or outdated. The club still maintains a traditional dress code, but I appreciate it -- it creates boundaries, preserves the elevated feel of the environment, and teaches our kids about manners, respect, and etiquette. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are well kept, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you're looking for a family‑friendly, active, community‑oriented country club with events and amenities for all ages, PGCC is absolutely worth checking out!

Less muddy, and greens were in great shape and really tough to read. Typically when I play, I always play the tees that the people I get paired up with want to play, and this time it was the blue tees. It's been 15+ years since I played the blues, and I gotta say, it's definitely way more challenging. The par 3s become extra long, you have to be more strategic with your tee shots, and definitely makes you have to play your longer irons for approach shots. If you can score well from the blue tees, you are probably a really good golfer. That being said, I got some work to do lol If you are a newer golfer, definitely play the white or red tees. And plan to bring a lot of balls because there's plenty of spots to lose them, especially if you are errant off the tee. The prices here have raised just a tad with a weekend round costing around $127 a person with a cart. I was able to snag a discounted tee time through GolfNow, so saved some money there. Overall, really fun course, my girlfriend's first time playing here and had a lot of fun. Definitely will be back especially since it's like 10-minutes from home.

The pro shop was small, but had everything you needed, and the staff was all really friendly. The driving range was beat-up visually, but worked to get loosened up and make some pre-round swings. The course was really pretty. It was definitely challenging. There are virtually no flat lies and no straight putts. It's tough, but not so hard it's not fun. I also felt like the more you play here, the easier it would be. There are lots of blind tee shots and elevation changes, and lots of hazard if you're too far right or left. Even if your golf sucks, you absolutely cannot be the view from 90% of the course. Definitely not a bad way to spend an afternoon!
