I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Morrar. I really appreciate his patience and understanding, and he always takes the time to ensure that I feel informed and reassured. I totally trust Dr. Morrar with my dental care, and I am very thankful to have a dentist who truly cares about his patients. If you're looking for a reliable dentist, I recommend Dr. Morrar!

We all love Dr. Min, and their previous hygienist Ari who was phenomenal--knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly exceptional. Unfortunately, our experience today was very disappointing. I brought my 82-year-old father, who has dementia, to his appointment. He has been a patient there for years. As soon as we walked in, something felt different. There were several new staff members, and the person at the front desk was rude and lacked basic customer service. We were then taken for X-rays. I mentioned that my father only has X-rays once a year unless there is a specific concern. He has never had ongoing dental issues that would require them more frequently. When we were taken to the treatment room, the basic hygienist, Carina Sanchez, came in. I was finishing an important phone call from my father's doctor's office that lasted less than 10 seconds. Instead of waiting a brief moment, she abruptly said, "I'll come back when you're off the phone." I ended the call before she even left the room. It quickly became clear that she had not reviewed my father's chart. I explained that he has dementia, is 82 years old, and that I am his Power of Attorney, so I would answer any necessary questions. She insisted he answer for himself. Even after I explained his condition again, she continued to speak down to me. During the periodontal probing, my father was clearly in pain. He has never experienced pain or discomfort during this part of a dental exam before. I told her she was being far too rough with him. Rather than adjusting her technique, she insisted he needed to be numbed before the probing and cleaning. Again, I explained that this had never been necessary in all the years he has been treated there. Her bedside manner was insensitive, and she showed very little patience or compassion toward an elderly patient with dementia. I asked to speak with Dr. Min. When she came in, I expressed my concerns and mentioned the recent negative reviews I had been seeing about changes in the office. Dr. Min was empathetic and listened to my concerns. I also made it clear that I did not want this hygienist treating my father. I was offered another cleaning appointment at 2:00 p.m., but that did not work with my father's schedule. I then went to the front desk to reschedule his cleaning. I waited for over 20 minutes, and no one acknowledged me or offered assistance. This experience was completely unlike the care we had come to expect from Strawberry Creek Dental. My biggest concern is not simply customer service--it is the lack of compassion, patience, and respect shown to an elderly patient with dementia. Healthcare providers should take the time to review a patient's history, communicate respectfully with caregivers, and treat vulnerable patients with dignity. I sincerely hope the office addresses these issues so that other families do not have a similar experience

Once she signed up this was the dental location they assigned to her. First impressions, the building looks like it's falling apart. The lobby is tiny, I ended up waiting outside since there wasn't room for me to wait inside with my sister. I wasn't here to see the dentist so I didn't see the exam rooms, but I hope they are better than the rest of the building. The female receptionist was short with my sister, and the phone calls I over heard she was rude and told one caller to use gps to find the location instead of providing directions. The door to their exam rooms isn't secure anyone could walk back there if the receptionist isn't paying attention. Which in my opinion isn't safe for any type of medical facility. My sisters scheduled appointment was at 3pm. All they did was x-rays we weren't out of there until after 5pm. A mother who is here with her minor daughter had to go out to the car (for whatever reason she was gone less than 2mins) when she came back in she tried to walk back to her daughter's room and they blocked her, and told her to wait in the lobby. She had to explain in a stern voice that she had a minor in the office and wasn't going to wait in the lobby. They then let her back. Now let's see the good. The male receptionist who took over for the female was polite, friendly, and professional. a Much better demeanor to welcome people who are coming here for the first time. They have automated appointment reminders which is good for my sister.

I was hoping to get my fillings done on the same day but must return for a third time just for basic cleaning and a few fillings. The waiting area was busy. I think they overbooked. On the bright side, the service is good. No problem with the staff or medical personal. All professional but no questions or getting to know the patient. They are efficient but seem pressed for time.

I'm extremely frustrated with my experience at Western Dental on Florin Road. I've been to this…read moreoffice more than six times over the past year trying to get the care and referral I needed, and it has been an incredibly long and stressful process. Almost every time I went in, I would have a consultation, only to be referred somewhere else. Then I would be told I needed to come back to Western Dental for another consultation before I could move forward. This happened repeatedly. One of the biggest problems was getting the correct insurance referral. I repeatedly explained that I needed the referral sent through my insurance, not just a paper copy. Despite asking multiple times, I either wasn't given the correct referral or it wasn't sent to the company it needed to go to. This caused even more delays. There were also multiple scheduling problems. On three separate occasions, I was scheduled for appointments when the oral surgeon wasn't even in the office. There were also appointments scheduled during the office's lunch break, and I was later told that the appointment was invalid. At that point, it became extremely frustrating. What makes this even worse is that I'm a college student and an athlete, and I was driving approximately six hours each time to attend these appointments. Imagine driving six hours for an appointment, only to find out that the oral surgeon isn't there, the appointment was scheduled incorrectly, or you have to repeat the same consultation you've already done multiple times. It has now been about a year of trying to get this taken care of. I understand that referrals and insurance can sometimes take time, but the repeated scheduling mistakes, lack of communication, and difficulty getting the correct insurance referral have made this experience much more difficult than it needed to be. I'm sharing this review because I hope the office improves its communication, scheduling, and referral process. Patients should not have to repeatedly travel long distances and attend the same consultations over and over because the necessary referral or appointment information wasn't handled correctly.
