It doesn't matter if you break a big toe, have a knee or hip replacement, fuse a disc, tear a rotator cuff...all injuries impact your whole body at some level, and the whole body system needs to be a part of the big picture when it comes time to rehab that knee, hip, shoulder, back, whatever, that has been throwing your body mechanics off. I've been in and out of PT for 30 years. I could write my own book. I've had the whole range of therapist. Most only focus on that ONE body part that needs rehabilitation, but once in a great while, I find a really great physical therapist and pain management doctor combination that view the patient as a person...someone that they truly want to be as functional as normal as possible. Understand, no physical therapist can make you whole again without you putting in the grunt work. They are your guide...your teacher...to assist you in properly making your body function properly. It is a partnership in your health. The crew at Great Basin gives you the tools and helps to make you well. They know when you need that little push to make your next milestone on your road to recovery, but are also there to help you thru any set backs. They offer a very friendly, open and relaxed environment.

I wasn't getting the results I needed from my first chiropractor anymore. It was time for a change…read moreand I was referred to Dr. Dimitry Ediss by a friend at work. This was one of the best office visits and adjustments I have ever had. The receptionist was very helpful and courteous and worked me into the schedule on the Friday of a Holiday weekend when she had a cancelation! Thank you! My experience only got better from there when Dr. Dimitry came in to see me. He was very through, listened to my symptoms, asked me questions for clarification, and explained every adjustment he made and why. He is very approachable and didn't try to sell me a "family plan" or some other foolishness. I really felt like he cared about making me better and I appreciate that. I was in a lot of pain when I came in and felt 100% better when I left. I scheduled another visit for next week and am looking forward to feeling better with each adjustment. Dr. Dimitry is definitely a super Chiropractor!

I think due to the nature of my injury, the care went from "hey let's monitor the injury and provide therapy" to "do this checklist in a supervised fashion like a gym trainer", the latter of which I feel like I can do myself... but it's nice to have a person be around for moral support.

My legs would go numb and if I didn't have something to grab onto, I would drop to the ground. I discussed the problem with my cardiologist on Dec 15, 2022. He recommended and referred me to Dr. Rajamand. On Dec 16th, Dr. Rajamand's office staff ordered an MRI for me. The MRI was conducted on that same day and I was seen by Dr. Rajamand on Jan 17, 2023. On Feb 8, 2023, Dr. Rajamand performed back surgery and released me to go home that same day. I did not require any pain medication immediately after nor since then. The only short restriction I had was to be careful not to reopen the incision. Two months later I remain completely pain free and with no restrictions. Dr. Rajamand told me before surgery that he could fix my problem and he did fix my problem. It doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommend Dr. Rajamand and his staff.
