Drinkwater Trailer Sales - All Aluminum Frame 8 1/2' X 16' Ultimate Contractor Trailer

Drinkwater Trailer Sales

I brought my 12' Haulmark there for service a couple of times, and they did fine with basic…read morebearings and spring work. The most recent time, however, I had some road damage to the body from road debris which punched holes in the diamond plate and side door. They did get to the work within a week, but it was pretty shoddy. Very poor fit and finish as manifested by a door that no longer fit quite right, and brand new diamond plate that had several screws already falling out, and was not properly sealed to the body at the bottom; kind of an issue in an enclosed trailer. When I brought it back, they agreed to try again, but Tom's response was "We're not finish carpenters here." His clear lack of concern about the quality of the work led me to have second thoughts about even letting them try again, so I didn't. When I went back to pick up the old diamond plate to use as a template, they had already scrapped it, but didn't bother to tell me that when I called in advance. Again, completely apathetic about their inability to communicate. I have a really good place on the Cape where I'll take it from now on.

Everyone from the front desk to the mechanics in the back were very nice and cordial. They also did a good job answering all the questions I had about trailer tires. Definitely recommend doing business with this company.

I then had it towed to cape cod truck. They took it in and spent several days on it. I finally went to pick it up and was charged just under 1300.00 dollars. He said they had a hard time and even put 2 guys on it. I knew I was being ripped off because I was not a resident. Paid the bill and left. One month later new starter died. Had towed to a reputable trusted mechanic. I told him my story. His response was as follows 1. Replacing starter was 320.00 parts and labor. 2. He had just replaced a starter with the same problem and charged an extra 100.00 for a total of 420.00 3. He said there is no way it requires 2 people as there is barely room for one mechanic to work on it. 4 Starter installed was a piece of junk Obviously the took advantage of my vacationing what this idiot is to stupid to realize is it hurts the reputation of businesses in the area. I will never spend anything in cape cod again. His lousy reputation reflects on other local businesses which hurts them. This is why Massachusetts residents like this are often referred as Massholes. I have been with him from my first 13' whaler to my present 23' Grady and all the whalers and Mako's in between. I went to the vineyard in my Grady in August one time and my engine alarm went off. I called Mike and he said call tow boat to get me back to the cape. He met me at the West Falmouth ramp, hauled my boat away. He had it fixed and in the water the next day. I dont have a negative word to say about him and would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, respectable man who does what he says. Mike has always looked after me and I assume he does that for all his clients.

I inherited a family boat (90 hp Johnson 2 stroke) that had some service history with Squeteague, so naturally took it there to have the engine looked at. (Stalling after shifting into gear). Dropped it off on July 3, and finally took it away from them (unfinished) on August 19. They were telling me that they next wanted to "try to correct the timing", but couldn't source the right wrench to do the job? A long, $1000.,story of really bad diagnostics, wrong repair guess work and awful customer follow up. I took it somewhere else to find out they rebuilt the carbs incorrectly, with crossed fuel lines and fuel bowls that leak. Bottom line, don't ever take your boat to Squeteague Harbor Marine for service!
