My friend's car had been stuck in my driveway for the last 2 days. The rear tires were spinning on a patch of ice, so she called AAA. The driver TONY from MARC'S in Wareham spoke very angrily and loudly, refusing to walk in the snow to rock her car off the patch of ice. Today, my friend and I went to MARC'S to speak with the owner about Tony's nasty attitude and refusal to do his job. The owner Marc Whitney was as rude and nasty as Tony. Last night my plow guy took a few minutes and unstuck my friend's car - with only a little bit of rock salt. Like the other disgusted customers who received nasty service from Marc's I'd give zero stars to this useless, nasty business. read more

I needed a state inspection after I transferred a title from out of state and Marc's was most convenient for me. The inspection was quick and I waited for less than 60 minutes. I also needed a repair on my thermostat so I called Marc's and they were able to accommodate me on very little notice. I dropped my car off and Tyler from Marc's gave me a ride back to my house because I live nearby and I didn't have a ride home. I picked up my car after a day of them working on it and everything was fixed to my satisfaction. The prices here are reasonable for the work being done and you can also get a AAA discount. My car broke down on Sunday afternoon of 4th of July weekend. Pfft...blown clutch. AAA sent Marc's Auto Service because the car had to be towed back to my home. They arrived much earlier than I thought; we had someone coming to get us from 40 miles away. The driver could fit two of us in the truck to get home, but my dog (an anxious rescue) would have to ride alone in the car on the tow truck. The driver arranged for us to leave the car and she had us call when our ride came. My car got home safe and sound a few hours later. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Marc's and their drivers. I have to say their tow service was fast.....however, when I told the tow truck driver that this was my husband's truck being towed and me being a man.....well he chuckled. Then when he called his boss and said, and I quote "There's a guy here that claims he's his husband".......implying that I was lying, then he paused and let out a somewhat hidden chuckle because obviously his boss made a funny comment about me being his husband. I'm a 50 year old man, with a husband and two sons that we adopted and raised, so sitting there being laughed at by some 25 year old tow truck driver did not leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling. Then, when my friends went to their Facebook page to leave comments they de-activated their account. Really? Why couldn't they reply and defend their actions? Oh, maybe because they are inexcusable.......I would NEVER recommend them for anything. read more

I wish I could give ZERO stars.. This review isn't for the actual shop but the people they employee for roadside assistance, they're vans & tow trucks say AAA but BEWARE!!! First off let me say I have NEVER used a site like this to review anything but this place is so negligent I was compelled to inform others. My story begins with a flat tire in August of 2014 I call triple A & they send Marc's auto service roadside assistance over to change the flat. The man ( not using his name) arrives we chat he attempts to get my tire off using HIS tire iron, he can not remove the tire. He says I'll fill it with air & follow you to the shop I say okay, he fills it up has me sign the form I get in the car look in the rear view & he's gone. Unreal I make it to the shop & decide not to call Triple A & report the guy cause I made it to the shop & i'm busy; right? WRONG 2 weeks ago I unfortunately get another flat (my luck) on a different tire back passenger. I call Triple A they send who but Marc's auto body, THE SAME GUY shows up again for roadside assistance I was like OMG no! anyway we chat it's friendly he proceeds to get out HIS tire iron he places it on my lug nut and with his FOOT stomps down on the tire iron snapping my lug nut clean off the post SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! He then holds the broken lug 6 inches from my face & says I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS NITHER IS TRIPLE A IF I ATTEMPT TO TAKE ANOTHER LUG NUT OFF & IT BRAKES THEN I'M RESPONSIBLE. I said to him listen last time you "helped" me the minute you got my signature you took off, you couldn't even remove the tire last time & this time do to you using your FOOT u snapped my lug nut in half. He says I'm not helping you didn't call a tow got in his damaged Marc's auto body van & drove AWAY. Triple A & I are in the process of an investigation into this situation, they gave Marc's auto shop 24hrs to contact me, we coulda work out a deal, they never called. Triple A couldn't express how unprofessional this entire experience was & they asked me to right this review, believe it or not. I hope this guy is no longer working for Marc's auto shop & I really hope Triple A looks deeply into Marc's auto service representing their company in any capacity. If you live in southeastern Massachusetts & have to call Triple A for your benefit ask them not to sent Marc's auto service.. read more
