Filled with regrets that i didnt take care of my tooth, I walked in and was greeted by a lovely lady at the front desk who's warm and elegant with her cute English accent. Judging from the name Frances I was expecting a male doctor then a super energetic and beautiful lady jumped into the room and introduced herself as Dr Lee. What a pleasant surprise. Dr Lee quickly went to work and did temperature testing on my tooth and announced the tooth in question is dead. I went to Dr. Lee, who was referred by my regular dentist's new associate. This was the WORST experience I have had. I thought I was going for going for a consult, but after telling me I needed 2 root canals on adjacent teeth, she then told me she would only do one today. Her explanation was in case there was a problem afterwards, she wouldn't know which tooth it was. After use a local anesthetic, she proceeded to drill (quite forcefully) through my tooth. She soon stopped and said... "I can't do the root canal because your tooth is cracked. You need to go get an extraction." I couldn't talk, as she had the rubber dam in my mouth. After she finished the one root canal, I left the office in a daze. The xray did not show the crack. It happened while she was drilling. Rather than run to an oral surgeon, I went to another endodontist, who was wonderful. I waited 2 weeks to let everything settle down. He was able to seal the crack and complete the root canal. He said the crack was not too low down and should do well. I am pleased to report the tooth is finally doing well. I would NEVER go back to her office!
